Dr. Han sped Cherry into the emergency room. Jinhyun had suddenly brought her early in the morning and to her horror, Cherry's pulse had dropped dangerously low. She had never seen the woman get this sick and her reports were normal too.
"What did she eat?" Han asked.
"Pancakes," Jinhyun said as he ran alongside the stretcher carrying Cherry. "That's it!"
"Was she under any stress?"
"Not that I know of!"
Han wheeled Cherry into the Operation Theater. "I've called my team from the hospital," she informed him. "They'll be here soon. If we don't manage to revive her by evening, we'll have to operate on her tomorrow."
"Will she be alright?" Jinhyun asked. Was she going to fall into a coma again for a hundred years?
Dr. Han looked at him sympathetically. "She'll live," she simply said. That was all the assurance she could give him. Knowing that Cherry would not die until her mission was fulfilled, it was the only silver lining they had.
