The Couple Who Were Not Meant To Be (11)

Sunyoung followed the maid without question. Her eyes were lowered on the ground yet, she could not help but steal peeks of the interior. Unlike her mansion which boasted of grandeur, this place was subtle yet, held a certain elegance. Her father had painted the mansion with the Imperial colors of red and golden with calligraphy depicting tales of bravery and mythical creatures inked onto the walls.

This villa, however, was simple. There were a few paintings by the famous artists of their time but other than that, the furniture sets were simple and minimal. The garden was small, consisting of different flowerbeds.

She could recognize the roses, marigold, hydrangeas, hibiscus but there were some yellow, pink and blue ones which she could not identify. The kitchen was a little larger than the one back in the Ahn mansion because there were a lot of people to feed on this property. Moreover, the walls were painted with a soft, pastel blue which were pleasant to look at.
