XiennaYan woke up around 4 in the afternoon, she wobbly walked to the kitchen counter, and poured herself a glass of water, after drinking, she felt her throat was still dry, to relieve her thirst she poured herself 2 more glass of water until she's satisfied.

She maneuvers herself slowly at the counter to cook for herself. As she was eating, her phone ring, seeing the name of her grandmother XienAnxi on the screen, she answered it directly.

"Hello" as she slowly eats her food.

"Where have you been? I've been trying to contact you since last night and the whole day. I was about to go to your place if you still haven't answered" her grandmother anxiously said.

"Sorry grandma, I was out last night and left my phone here at the house."

"What were you doing that you even left your phone?" she questioned her

Knowing that her grandma will keep on bothering her if she will not properly explain, she lied to her, knowing that, the less they know the safer they will be.

"A friend from M city called me last night when I arrived home, saying that she will be in the city for the night before going back to M city. We hang out the whole night enjoyed some drinks, then I send her to the airport, when I arrived home I went directly to sleep and just woke up an hour ago," she explained.

She heard the doubt in her voice, that's when she said "I was with QaiLizi, you know her. remember?"

Changing the dressing of her wound she also reapplied the medicine, before going back to sleep.

The following morning, as she felt much better than the previous day, she woke up early, change into formal attire, and applied a little foundation to cover up some bruising, making sure that her resume other files, wallet, keys, and her phone were inside her satchel, she hangs it to her body diagonally, she stops in front the door and grabbed her loafers from the right cabinet and changed to it before going out the apartment.
