"Eh? What about the couple?" Other guests joined in, all looking intrigued. The man looked at them with a questionable expression, "So you don't know, huh? Rumors were going around just a while back, they say both the youngsters are notorious, always creating trouble!"

"Well, we can't just believe some rumors, they both come from Prestigious families, I think all the rumors are exaggerated."

"There's no fire without sparks—" just as the man was about to complete his sentence, dozens of guests turned their gazes to the entrance.

In a beautiful Wedding gown, a girl walked towards the priest hand in hand with a Young man clad in a white suit. She had fair skin with beautiful features, almost like a fairy-Tale princess.

One of the men said with a blush on his face, it was not his first time seeing beautiful brides, but one this stunning was enough to leave a lasting impression.

"I don't." the girl replied with confidence, her voice filled the entire silent room. Madame Lin face-palmed herself, While Lin Qi's laughter filled the room.

The priest felt extremely awkward in this situation, while Lu Jingli just glanced at her. She raised her hand which had not left Lu Jingli's side the whole time. It was covered by the veil so one couldn't see properly before but, now that she had lifted it, it was as vivid as day.

A few hours prior, at the Lin family manor.

Lin Qi was just getting off from her car that dozens of servants grabbed her hands and legs, and dragged her into the house. "Y-you, what are you doing? My dear Xiaowan, are you betraying me?"

The maid called Xiaowan looked at Lin Qi with tears in her eyes as she said, "Forgive me, I don't want to do this, Eldest Miss!" She looked adorable as she stopped herself from bursting into tears.

Lin Qi could only watch as she was taken into her room forcibly, there she saw her mother standing with a couple of people. She broke free of the maids' grasp and stood straight, "Mom, what do you want? I haven't done anything lately, so why do I deserve this amazing treatment?"

"Which one?" Lin Qi inquired, even though she noticed her mother was talking about another topic, truth was, she did do many reckless things the past couple of days, so she was glad the topic was getting changed.

"The third child, Lu Jingli." Mrs Lin had a kind smile on her face. "Hm, isn't he the one that the Lu Family sent a proposal to me for," Lin Qi paused, "Mum, No."

"Get started." Mrs Lin clapped her hand, and before Lin Qi knew it, she was in a car in a wedding dress, handcuffed to her husband-to-be, while he looked as if he was about to die.

"Why, why aren't you resisting?!" she snapped, the guy hadn't said a word until now, making the situation even more depressing.

However, it seemed her words pissed off Lu Jingli too, as he glared at her and shouted back, "Resisting? I fought my bodyguard, risking my life, I even bit his hand when he tied me up. Then they made me listen to the audio-book of 'How to live a happy married-life'! I'm exhausted, it's up to you if you want to stop the wedding."

"You..." Lin Qi was speechless, she could only resort to depending on herself to get out of this situation. When she was informed of the proposal a week ago, she laughed it off, saying that the groom was too handsome, who knew those people actually took it as her agreeing to the marriage?

Oh dear, she wanted to go back in time and hit herself, she had dug a grave for herself. She contemplated about the matter for the next 10 minutes before she sighed.

"I don't what to do!" she looked at the guy beside her in frustration, surprisingly, he had a very serious look on his face. "I have an idea." he spoke while gazing into her eyes.

Lin Qi got excited as she saw this light of hope, "What are you waiting for? Say it." did this genius son of the Lu Family really come up with something?
