Stalking 2 [19]

(What are these guys going? I've been following them for ten minutes already) Ferris complained

He followed the demons for a long while now and he was kinda getting bored following them, there was also a time where he wanted to just kill them for xp but he waited.

(They stopped)

The demons he was following suddenly stopped walking and one of the demons looked around for a while to see of there are any humans watching them. After making sure no one was around they entered a small cave nearby and of course Ferris followed them in the cave.

(A cave huh im having a feeling of deja vu but i I'm prepared)

They went in deeper in the cave and the cave seemed to grow wider and more spacious, going deeper he saw more demons wandering around and he now knew that he was in deep enemy territory.

(Gatta keep up my stealth if i reveal

myself for even a split second ill be screwed)

Even though the cave was already full of demons the pack of demons he was following was still walking down the deep cave.

(Jeez why am i putting myself in this position)

After a few minutes of going down they finally arrived at a somewhat flat and wide and he saw a lone demon sitting in a rock surrounded by a room full of demons. After taking a closer look at that demon he realized.

(Tha.. that demon! I recognize him im pretty sure his name is Barack)

He was standing there with his stealth still active, he just standed there looking at him with surprised eyes and a somewhat scared look.

(He doesn't notice me, should i attack? Will i lose again hmmm well for some reason his magic aura isn't really scaring me, have i grown stronger but if I die I won't have any more resurrections, if i want to retreat i can't, the door to this room closed and i can't wait for it to open I cant hold my stealth for any longer now)

He gave it a second thought but he finally decided.

(Ill attack, ill dash forward and fire a dark slash and use consumer to weaken him that way i have a better chance)

He took quiet but very deep and slow breaths and sprinted towards him but leaving no sound.

{Disabled stealth}

{Dark slash activated}

{Consumer activated}

Barack sensed this attack from his behind and turned around.

[!!! What the?!!]

He sliced the dark slash that was flying towards him with fast speeds. After blocking it Ferris pointed his sword towards him at his face but it was blocked as well.

[how the hell did you get here?!]

Barack was visibly sweating maybe due to that surprise attack and the effort he used to block those two attacks without a break plus he was drained of his mana from Consumer, so he felt kinda weak. The demons inside seemed to have backed off.

[Answer me human!]

Ferris didn't answer to his loud shouting and just simply dashed forward to attack him again. His attack successfully stabbed him in the lower part of his chest although it seemed like a shallow cut but it sure was a lethal attack.

[Shit!] the demon shouted

Barack swung his short swords at him but it was dodged and another attack landed on his face.

Ferris looked serious in the fight, he didn't want to die in this fight so he wanted to finish the fight quickly. Before he could have a chance for a counter attack, Ferris didn't wait for him so he did another attack to slice his head off. With his full power behind, his sword broke into pieces but successfully killed the archdemon Barack.

He was happy with is easy win fight but he finally realized about the rest of the demons.
