Don't judge a book by it's cover

"Behind those smiling faces you can never know what someone is going through."

In an unknown time and location:

"Senior why are we chasing the celestial called Rogen, isn't he just a low-ranking celestial?" asked one of the thousands upon thousands of celestials chasing Rogen.

"You might see him as just a low-ranking celestial, but if you knew of his achievements you wouldn't say that!" said an older looking celestial with a solemn face.

"What does senior mean?" asked the young celestial once more not understanding what his senior meant.

"Sigh! Terion, you have only recently become a celestial and joined our faction, so you wouldn't know about Rogen. But what I can tell you is do not ever judge Rogen based on his appearance or personality."

"But why senior? If Rogen is supposedly a low-ranking celestial like me, why are you so cautious?"

"Terion, let me ask you, have you heard about the species called Maggon?" asked the senior with a serious tone

"Maggon? You mean those dreadful creatures that once terrorized a large section of this universe? Weren't they exterminated by the leading celestials of all the factions more than a few millennia ago?" asked Terion not understanding why his senior mentioned those grotesque beasts.

"Yeah, those beasts! You can't imagine the horrific things they did! They were responsible for so much evil and destruction in the universe, that if they had continued to exist, we would have never been able to break free from their grasp, and it was exactly then when all the factions decided that they had to eliminate those beasts. In that time, Rogen was a newly ascended celestial, and he joined our faction to fight against those beasts. The reason was because his entire galaxy was ravaged by those beasts, and he was the only survivor," explained the senior with a sad tone.

"What! An entire system! How is that possible?! Surely there were at least other celestials that survived?!" asked Terion with a shocked tone.

"No, for some reason he was the only one. Even so, after he joined the war Rogen was responsible for single-handedly destroying over a one hundred Maggons." said the senior with a solemn voice once more.

"Hiss! One hundred Maggon beasts! On his own … and as a low-ranking celestial! How is that possible?" questioned Terion with a dumbfounded face.

"No one knows! What we do know though, is that after the Maggons were exterminated, he suddenly had a change in his personality and became very distant, leading to the problem we have now," answered the senior.

"So that means that Rogen, is actually as strong as high ranked celestials or higher, even though he is only a low ranked celestial?" asked Terion clearly frightened over what he had just learnt.

"Yeah! Now you know why our entire faction is going on this crusade! But that doesn't matter now! What matters, is that we locate him and block off all exists. We also have to be careful and not allow him to use his portal," warned the senior as he sped up his flying speed.

"I thought once I became a celestial, the world would be at my feet! Sigh, I truly am still a frog at the bottom of the well," mumbled Terion realising how much he still did not know.

In another unknown time and location:

"Hmmm! What the...!" just as Rogen felt he sensed something his eyes bulged. What Rogen saw was thousands and thousands of celestials flying into the direction of the galaxy he was in. "Damn it! I didn't think they would find my location so fast! It must have been that damn old fart Aforn! He always could find me easily! Luckily, I felt them on time. I guess I have got to speed up," grunted Rogen while flying even faster into a certain direction.

"Uuugh! I can't swim anymore! This river is too huge... if it is even a river... I can't hold out for much longer... what should I do?" gasped Steven while contemplating what to do, as his stamina was nearly spent from continuously swimming in a direction for over 30 min and seeing no clear end. "Hmmm, what's that?" he panted as he looked at something shining at the bottom of the river. "Well does it even matter! It's not like I would be able to swim till down there, especially with the current slowly getting stronger and stronger!" exclaimed Steven with a sigh.

"You got to be kidding me, right?" said Steven in a shocked tone as he saw that a huge wave, an actual wave, suddenly appeared in the so-called "river", and it was heading in his direction. "The day just keeps getting better and better, huh!" hissed Steven as he clearly had enough of all these horrific events happening one after the other. "I guess I can continue swimming... damn it! I swear one day I will empty this entire river, or whatever it is, and fill it up with tar! Then we'll see who gets the last laugh!" threatened Steven with an angry tone, as if expecting that the "river" would regret it's actions.

"Boooloooo!!!!"

The sound of water boiling could be heard from the distant wave as if it were angry at this puny mortal for daring to threaten its beautiful form! "I hate my life..." howled Steven wanting to cry!

"Yoooo!" the moose screamed in anguish as the fat dragon finally killed it. The fat dragon was happy as it now had a big feast, but it did not come unscathed out of the fight. A large chunk of its scales was destroyed, and it had four gaping wounds on its back. But for the fat dragon, it was worth it, as long as it took time to recuperate and ate the flesh of the moose it would be many times stronger than before.

But before it could relish its meal it saw something terrifying. "Who would have thought we would find the scent of our target here?" said Barion as he looked at the fat dragon with menacing eyes. "Come! Kill it before we do anything else!" ordered Flaven as he charged over to the fat dragon. Hearing his order hundreds of beasts in many shapes and forms charged over to where the fat dragon was.

"Kegh!" the fat dragon was incredibly afraid, as it knew it would not be able to beat such a large number of beasts, especially with its wounds. So, it decided to call for its pack members in the area. It did not previously want to call on its pack, because it knew that once it called for help, all its food would be gone, but the fat dragon had no other choice. Life over death trumped his decision as to whether he should save his food for himself or not.

"Koggghh!" The roars of multiple dragons could be heard as they charged in the direction of the injured fat dragon.

"Haha! Finally, now we get to have some fun!" shouted Barion with excitement as he originally thought it would be a boring mission, but who knew he would encounter such great fortune!

"Sigh! Barion... You never change huh? joked Flaven with a slight smile, as he too was excited like his friend. "Well then boys, let's have some fun!" bellowed Flaven, running even faster now into a mob of fat dragons.

This battle would shape Steven's "adventures" in many unexpected ways. If he knew that it would give him even more "adventures", he would cry out in anguish.
