Tonight Is......

"Wilson, wake up," said some unknown voice when I slept.

"Wilson, wake up, or I blast your head off," It said as I heard a cranking sound.

"What the fuck?" I said as I saw Garth pointed his Glock to my face.

"Surprise," He said as he pulled the trigger.

Instead of lead, the thing that getting out from the gun was water. Yes, it was a fucking water gun.

"Where did you get that?" I asked him.

"I borrowed it from Cecile," He said to me as he waved the gun.

I summoned a water gun back when we were 9 years old. I used it to prank her, and as an apology, I gave it to her.

"Well, do you have any reason why did you wake me up?" I asked him.

"Of course I have, we have to cook today, don't you remember? It's the servant's duty," He said to me.

"You're right," I said as I got up the bed and wiped my face.

In this school, there was an unmentioned contest for the servants, for example, this one. We servants would cook the best dish we have and serve it to the students.

Usually, the ones who cook the tastiest dish will affect the reputation of its master.

"What do you want to cook?" I asked Garth.

"I don't know. My preferred dishes is something meaty," He said.

"I know, Wolf is a carnivore, isn't it?" I asked him as I left the room.

"Yes, an ordinary wolf is a carnivore, but for us beastkin, we are an omnivore. We just prefer meat than a vegetable," He said as he followed me from behind.

"I see, so beet soup is out of the question, right?" I asked him.

"Whatever you say. What is the type of meat that available in the kitchen?" Garth asked me.

"I don't know," I said to him as I opened the dorm's door.

We walked to the cafeteria that was located on the far eastern side of the academy. The cafeteria was separated between the outdoor and the indoor dining hall. The kitchen itself was located inside the indoor dining hall.

Honestly, it looked more like a community kitchen than the luxurious dining hall in our military base that was located in the border region. The stove was using a heating element from a magic stone.

Garth and I were wearing a chef outfit. A white thick cotton shirt with a long black apron and loose black trousers. The shirt has a black button.

"Garth, could you open the fridge, please?" I said as I washed most of the cooking apparatus with my hand and some running water.

"Sure, what are we going to cook," He said as he observed the content of the fridge.

"Some steak, maybe?" I said to him.

"Steak?? There is not even a piece of meat here!" Garth shouted angrily.

I abandoned my duty to wash the dishes and rushed to the fridge where Garth was standing.

"Really??" I said as inspected every inch of the fridge searching for meat.

"Yes, and they call this an elite school. What a shame," Garth complained.

"Well, I got no more option then, [Ultimate Summon]," I chanted as I summon 90 pieces of A5 wagyu on the fridge.

"Is that the most delicious meal that you used to cook back in Duke's mansion?" Garth asked.

"Yes, it will be like butter in your mouth," I said to him.

"I know, who will do the cooking?" He asked me.

"I don't know yet," I said as I looked at a girl suddenly barged into the room, It was Cecile, and she was already wearing the chef's outfit.

"Hello, how may I help you?" Cecile said as he approached Garth.

"Why don't you cook the steak while we prepared the mashed potato," I said as I handed her a knife. I picked up a sack that was full of potatoes.

"Sure," She said as she grabbed the knife from me.

I peeled the potato while Garth was cutting it into several pieces. Cecile was cutting the meat into several pieces.

I filled a large pot with water and added a bunch of salt to the water and mix it well. After that, I put the potato and let it sit for 15 minutes.

After 12 minutes, I heated a saucepan and put a combination of butter and milk and boiled it until it combines.

Garth drained the potato and mashed it with a potato masher. I poured the butter mixture slowly to the pot while Garth stirred it.

"Do the others like it peppery?" I said as I grabbed the pepper grinder.

"I don't think so," He said as he added salt to the pot.

"A bit?" I said as I rotate the grinder, and a mist of pepper fell to the pot.

"I think that's enough," Garth said as he continued to stir the pot.

I took a peek to the soup, I could barely see any pepper in the potato, "Might as well not putting anything there," I said as I ground more pepper.

"That's enough," He said.

"Ok," I turned off the stove.

A creamy and milky mashed potato was ready to be served. I walked to Cecile.

"How is it?" I asked her.

"It's good," she said as she basted the meat with butter, herbs, and garlic.

"Nice," I said as I saw the plate was already lining up in the kitchen.

I arrange the steak so that it invites appetite. I arranged the steak neatly next to the mashed potatoes, which had been doused by a thick brown sauce. The plate that I use is a white plate with silver lines around it.

"Nice," I said as I brought the plate to the table on the outdoor and indoor of the eating room, aka canteen. The meal was white and covered with a gray tablecloth. The meals were also had 4 chairs. The students were already waiting, and as soon as I handled them the plate, they started to eat.

I walked to Maria's table after I served all of the plates. Her table had 4 steaming meal and a candle in the middle. She was sitting there and waved her right hands to me.

"Young miss, excuse me," I said to her as I pulled a chair in front of her.

"Sure," She said while smiling.

"Now, What do we do?" Garth asked me from behind as he pulled up the chair on my left side.

"Now we wait," I said as I poured water to a glass.

"Ok," Cecile said as she walked from the kitchen to our table.

"Ladies and gentlemen, bon appetit," I said as I picked up the fork and knife from the side of the plate.
