Chapter 4- The Land of Waves Part 1

Previously on Reincarnated into the Naruto world:

Once I left I started to cry out of frustration. 'Why don't they understand?!' I thought. I then walked back to see that Kakashi was there and said we passed. "ARE WE NINJA OR NOT?! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!" I yelled at him. Everyone just chuckled and or laughed at me and my irritation.

THE NEXT DAY~~~

The next day I awoke to a knock on my door. 'ugh who could it be at this hour? it's like... 7:00....' I then start to process what I just thought. "CRAP I'M LATE!!!" I rushed to get up and get dressed only to fall out of bed. "OOMPH" I made a noise as soon as my face hit the floor. "HIKARI! OPEN THE DOOR DATTEBAYO!" I heard Naruto say. how did I know it was Naruto? simple. His catchphrase. 'Mom... why didn't you wake me?' I asked her. 'You just looked so peaceful and cute as you slept I couldn't just wake you. Remember last time?' Mom asked. 'Don't remind me...' I replied. That is a story for another time. I then got everything done and ran out the door past Naruto and into Grandpa's office.

"Hikari... you're late..." Grandpa said. I just smile sheepishly and scratched the back of my head. "Sorry grandfather, Mom didn't wake me up," I replied giving him the look. He seemed to remember and shivered. This made everyone including Kakashi to look at us confusedly. Grandpa and I just chuckled at them. "I wouldn't worry about it if I were you," Grandpa stated. "Now as for the missions. You can..." And that's when I started zoning out. After a few minutes, I heard grandpa yell. That was when I had returned to earth. "oh sorry," said Kakashi. Though I knew he wasn't sorry. I just gave Grandpa another look. Which he sighed at and nodded. "very well you want to do big missions, Fine I will give you a C rank mission." He said. "You will be bodyguards for someone." He continued. " WHO WHO? IS IT A PRINCESS?! OR A FUDERAL LORD?!" Naruto asked in excitement. "Calm down we will bring him in now," Grandpa said waving his hand and that was when I took a whiff of air to smell alcohol. I immediately covered my nose. Sasuke-nii noticed this and looked at the door. Once it opened, in came the old man Tazuna.

"What's this?! A bunch of brats?! You expect me to trust that these kids will protect me?! Look at them! Especially the short one with the dumb look on his face!" Said Tazuna. "HAHAHA, Who's the short one with the dumb look? I bet it's Sasuke." Exclaimed Naruto. All for of us then went together to see that it was... ME?! "Awww..." I looked down dejected that I was the shortest one out of all of them. Sasuke-nii then started glaring daggers at Tazuna and Naruto just yelled. "DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT HIKARI!" Tazuna just sighed. "Not The freak, YOU!" He said. That just made me even more down. Grandpa started glaring at Tazuna. " I will not have you disrespecting my granddaughter!" He yelled at Tazuna. Tazuna then paled after hearing that I was the Third Hokage's grandchild. 'GRRR LET ME AT HIM! LET ME AT HIM! I OUGHT TO TEACH HIM A LESSON FOR CALLING MY CHILD A FREAK!' Mom yelled. 'Ok, mom relax. He is just drunk.' I thought to her.

"I am Tazuna the master bridge builder of the land of waves, and I expect you to protect me with your lives," Tazuna exclaimed. That triggered me and mom. I mean I already knew that he is lying, but, actually being here makes the suspicion rise at a great level. ' Hikari, I don't trust this man.' She stated. "Ok, team. we meet in one hour. make sure you pack everything you need." Kakashi said and poofed out of the room. I bowed at Grandpa and made my way home. "ugh... Could you please stop following me Sasuke-nii?!" I asked him irritated. "Hn." He supposedly said. " I'm Fine! I'm not a child anymore!...scratch that I am NOT an immature little girl anymore!" I said and turned to walk away. But... He grabbed my arm and pushed me against the wall. "W-what? Sasuke-nii... what are you doing?" I asked him. 'OOOOoooo My ship is about to sail!' Said my mom. I just made a confused face and Sasuke-nii asked. "What did your mother say?" I replied with. "Something about a ship about to sail." He then smirks and covered my eyes. "Hey! What are You-" I was cut off with feeling something against my lips. It was... soft and... warm...I was finally able to see again and saw that Sasuke-nii was... kissing me...My eyes widen and I blush madly. He pulled away and smiled. Like literally a genuine caring smile. I touched my lips again and was in shock. He must have realized and immediately he apologized. "Hikari, I am so sorry...Please forgive me." He asked for forgiveness. I just fainted and felt someone catch me. Not without hearing my mother die of happiness.

When I came to, I saw I was on Sasuke-nii's back. Then I remembered what had happened and heard mother squeal in my head. 'Now that my ship has sailed I can finally die happy!' I then jumped off Sasuke-nii's back and ran with my stuff to Kakashi and hid behind him. "Uhhhh Hikari? What are you doing?" He asked. I told him what had happened and his big brother mode activated. He was then glaring at Sasuke-nii... Who shivered. uh...oops? maybe I shouldn't have said anything. I sweatdropped. When Naruto came we were ready to go. "YAHOO!" He exclaimed. Sakura just looked annoyed and asked, "What are you all excited about?" Naruto looked at Sakura and said, "This is my first time leaving the village! I am a traveler now!" Naruto jumped all excitedly. "Am I really going to be safe with him?" Tazuna asked. Kakashi just replied with, "Don't worry I am a jonin. So you will be safe with me." While Naruto got agitated and yelled. "HEY! DON'T MOCK NINJAS LIKE ME! I AM GOING TO BE HOKAGE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RESPECT ME!" He exclaimed at Tazuna. "Hokage are strong and wise, you are puny and brainless," Tazuna replied. "Even if you do become Hokage I'll sprout wings and fly." He continued.

LATER ON~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As we walked I spotted a puddle not that far from where we stand. I looked at Kakashi and he nodded at me and motioned for me to go up ahead. I complied and went to stand beside Naruto. Sasuke looked hurt that I didn't stand next to him like I usually do, but... ever since that kiss...I don't know what to feel. This has never happened before... He only likes me because I am not in my real-world body... If he saw me then... He would have called me ugly and not like me... I am a freak in this world... anyways... Let's not talk about my personal feelings. Now was I? Ah yes the puddle. We then walked passed the puddle and as soon as we did the brothers came out and wrapped Kakashi with their chains and "Crushed" him. The two brothers then ran to Tazuna and I ran to intervene and as soon as they got to me and Tazuna they readied their weapons and was about to claw at me but Sasuke-nii got to us first and pinned their chain to a tree with a kunai and shuriken.

He then punched them and the chain broke from the force of them being hit. One ran at Naruto and the other to Sakura and Tazuna. I ran to Naruto and pushed him out of the way and got scratched on the arm from the elbow up. I hissed in pain and held the wound that seemed to be a bit deep. I looked at Naruto. "Are you ok Naruto-kun?" I asked him. He just looked at me in shock and sadness. "Why?..." He asked me. "why? Because Naruto... You're my friend." I smiled. I then noticed he had a scratch on his hand as well. "oh no... Naruto... I didn't get to you on time... I'm sorry..." I said looking down sadly. He looked at me in surprise. "Why are you apologizing? I should be then one to apologize... I got you injured... all for what... me being scared? I won't let this happen again" He said to me. Sasuke then stomped to us and he punched Naruto. "Sasuke what the hell?!" I yelled at him. He looked at me in surprise and again he looked hurt. "He got you hurt!" Sasuke said. "Not only that but their claws were laced with poison." Said Kakashi as he held the two knocked out brothers. "Kakashi-Sensei! You're alright!" Sakura exclaimed in relief. Kakashi then went to Tazuna and said that they needed to talk.

As soon as they went away, we stood there not knowing what to do. I then remembered that I had to take out the poison so I redied my kunai and just as I was about to extract the poison, Sakura yelled. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HIKARI?!" That caught Kakashi's attention. "hmm?" is all he said. He looked at me as I was about to extract the poison again but Sasuke then grabbed my arm and put his lips against my skin, which made me shiver for some reason... weird... He then started to suck the poison out and spit it onto the floor. He did this for a bit then the poison was all out. He then looked at me and hugged me. "Please don't do that ever again." He said. I felt a warm feeling in my stomach. "I'm sorry I worried you..." I said. He smiled for a quick second then went back to Mr. broody. apparently we were out of it and once we came back to the "real world" Naruto had already made his pledge, and Kakashi had said we can continue on with the mission. So we were off.

Time skip~~~~~~~~~~~~

Right now we are on a boat. There wasn't enough room so I had to sit on someone's lap... because I was the shortest and smallest... I pouted and Sakura volunteered to sit on Sasuke's lap but... he wasn't having any of that. So now here we are on a boat and me sitting on Sasuke's lap. Sakura glaring at me, and Naruto sitting next to Sakura smiling. We then reached the docks and the boat guy then turned on his engine and left. I then knew that he was paid to tell the enemies where we are. I then notified Kakashi about that and he put his guard up. We then walked and Naruto then started throwing kunai. He had almost hit a snow rabbit... wait... a snow rabbit? It's summer! "DUCK!" Kakashi and I said at the same time. We all ducked to the ground as a sword then flew over us and stuck to a tree. Then came out Zabuza. Who... was facing the wrong way. "Um... Zabuza-san? You're facing the wrong way..." I told him. He then looked at me in shock. "The Silver wolf..." Said Zabuza in surprise. I froze up once he said that. "What?" I heard Kakashi say/ask. I gulped and laughed nervously. "HAHA! Two people on the bingo book! and one former student too! this will be fun!" said Zabuza-san. I just sweatdropped. "um... You do realize I am stronger right?" I asked him. he stopped laughing and smirked at me. "oh I know. I am just teazing ya." He said. I just rolled my eyes.

Naruto then tried to run forward but Kakashi stopped him. "He is way out of your league Naruto. He's not like the other two." He said to Naruto. "But why?!" Naruto growled out but complied. I walked beside Kakashi and Got ready to battle. 'mom... I hope my plan works...' I said to her. 'Im sure the plan will work' she replied. Now is the time for action. Let's go! I immediately ran to Zabuza to attack. CLINK. Our two swords hit each others sword. Just as I was about to attack Kakashi jumped in front of me and pushed me away and he started to battle Zabuza. Just as I was about to protest. I got captured and taken away in front of everyone, It happened to fast. Just then, I was knocked out, and darkness surrounds me.
