Romance In The Air

I reach out for my phone and dialed Zhi xiang's number.

"Yes love?"

"You went home last night?" I ask him.

"Yes I did. I had to. But ask the nurse to prepare you, I'm coming to discharge you."

"Alright, bye."

"Bye."

I end the call and stretch my arms. I couldn't help but to think about that dream. Li Xia..Wei qiang's ex girlfriend..my best Friend. She disappeared foyr years after Zhi xiang disappeared. It was said that Li Xia's family died in a car crash but only two bodies were found, her parents. They were leaving, moving to a new place. As Li Xia was being bullied and her parents wanted to move away. People then started to blame me as I was bad luck and stayed stuck to her.

I hear a knock on the door and turn around.

"Thinking again? Are you packing."

I rub my eyes and carry my bag. "Yeah but I'm done. Did you.."

"Yes I did." He grabs my bag and put it over his shoulder. "Lets go."

We both walk out of the hospital and I get into his car. He puts my bag in the back seat and sits in the driver's seat.

"How come you're so quiet?" He asks putting his arm around me.

"I'm just tired. Can't wait to go home."

He removes his arm and pulls out the hospital lot. I can't tell him, I said in my head. He'll tell Wei qiang.

When we arrive at my house. My mother opens the door, run and hugs me.

"Come in you two. I've made some light snacks."

"Thank you mom." I hold Zhi Xiang's hand and bring him inside.

We both sit down on the couch while holding each other's hands. My mom walks in with a tray of cookies and fruits. She hands me and Zhi xiang a fork and plate and puts fruits on our plates.

She sighs and hugs me. "You must be so tired." She looks at Zhi xiang and smiles at him. "Thank you for taking care of my daughter Zhi xiang."

"Mrs. Lin, she is my fiancé. Of course I'll take care of her."

She laughs and lets go of my hand. "Don't call me that. You two will be marrying soon. Call me mom."

"Mom! Me and Zhi xiang are tired. We'll go rest in my room, Okay?"

"Alright! I'll be down here picking out a wedding date for you guys."

I sigh and take his hand. We walk upstairs into my bedroom and lay on the bed. He snuggles up next to me and kisses my head. "I'm lucky to have you." He whispers.

I wrap my arms around his waist and my face next to his chest. I could hear his heartbeat. Everything reminded me how much I love him.

"Zhi Xiang, i love you."

He rubs my head. Our hands intertwine and we close our eyes. He whispers back, "I love you too."

His hands were warm. Even when sleeping. He was still good looking. I get up and off the bed and walked out the room to the kitchen. When I enter the kitchen my mom was sitting by the table still thinking of a day for the wedding.

"Mom. Get some rest, we could do this later."

"No. I need to do this. I need grandchildren before I get to old!"

I laugh and sit next to her, "alright. You'll get your grand babies," i look at the calendar and look back at her. "How about two weeks from now?"

"June eighth. Good choice my love." Zhi xiang walks in and sits across from us. "And mom, you'll get a grandchild soon. You'll never get to old."

"I know I'll get the baby soon! I've set up a romantic trip for you guys at a resort. You leave tomorrow morning actually so go pack and sleep early."

"Mom! Are you serious!"

She ignores me and push us out of the kitchen. "Hurry hurry! Go and pack!"

Zhi Xiang wraps his arms around me and we walk upstairs back to the bedroom. "Your Mom is funny. I remember her being more serious when we were younger."

I take out my clothes from the closet and take out my suitcase. "Well that's because you were a boy who was really close to her only daughter and child who had problems at her old school." I hug him and kiss his cheek. "Get dress, we'll go to your house after I pack so you could pack your stuff."

"Of course. Let me help you pack."

Zhi Xiang folds my clothing into the suitcase and carries it for me down the stairs. Before leaving I tell my mother that we were going to stay at Zhi xiang house for the night and leave in the morning. She hugs and kisses me then waves goodbye.

"Zhi Xiang take care of my daughter alright."

zhi xiang puts my suitcase in the car and close the door. "No need to worry mom. She'll probably come back with a baby in her." They both laugh, while I stand between them crossing my arms.

I hit his head, "Don't kid yourself." I get into the car and wait for him as he finishes talking with my mom. He gets inside the car and starts it then we leave. I look at my mom as she was waving happily. "What did you say to her?"

He smirks and looks at me, "that she'll be getting a grandchild very very soon."

I roll my eyes and moves his head. "Keep your eyes on the road." I quietly laugh. Trying to keep a serious face to confuse him. I couldn't help but think, a family with Zhi Xiang. That would be everything to me..it is everything to me.

We arrive at his house quickly. He opens the car door for me and holds out his hand. I put my hand in his and step out. He walks to the door and unlocks it. We both walk in and head upstairs. One of is maids comes in and lowers her head. "Welcome back master and miss."

He untie his tie and lays it down on his bed. He starts packing his clothes in his suitcase and starts to unbutton his shirt. "Thank you. Tell everyone they have a one week break as my wife and I will be on vacation. You may leave."

"Yes sir. Goodnight sir." The maid walks out and closes the door. When the maid leaves he pulls me by the waist and kiss my lips.

"I'm done packing. We still have two hour to ourselves before sleeping for tomorrow. Why don't we try before the vacation?"He pushes me to the bed and climbs on top of me.

Before he starts kissing me, I push away his face and start laughing. "My mom really has you hooked on getting kids, huh?"

"We are soon to be married, so does it matter."

"I'm afraid that I won't be able to fit my wedding dress if i get pregnant."

He kissed my forehead and fall to the side of me. "You'll still be as beautiful as you are now. Ugly or pretty. Tall or short. I'd still love you."

I tilt my head and smile, "and if i were really chubby?" He hits my head lightly and holds me tightly.

"Then you'd be my cute panda."
