New York Sanctum.
Alfie got dressed with a modern style gray suit and tie with his hair cut and styled into a slicked back side fade.
He then came out to the door and put on a gray coat over his clothing and bid farewell to the master of the sanctum.
As Alfie walked out of the sanctum and into the windy streets, he took in the "fresh" air of New York.
Alfie whistled getting a cab and it drove off into a familiar place Alfie knew back in the days.
As they drove on Alfie wondered if Steve would soon be waking up.
The cab stopped around 15-20 minutes in front of a building that both looked old and new but definitely fancy.
Alfie casually made his way into the restaurant and entered before he was stopped in front of a hostess.
"Hello sir, how man-...how many?" The woman stuttered a bit.
"Huh?" Alfie raised an eyebrow.
"How many seats?"
"Oh just one."
"Then please follow me." She said as she led Alfie to a more quiet and uncrowded seating area.
As Alfie sat he saw that the hostess stopped one of the young servers to send him somewhere, and some time later a man with a buttoned down white shirt came out and walked straight to Alfie's table.
"May I have a seat?" The man asked as he stood waiting for Alfie to respond.
"Sure." Alfie said nonchalantly.
As the man took a seat he didn't take his eyes off Alfie, many emotions were shown on his face.
"My name is Agostino, it is a pleasure to meet you Mr?" Agostino asked.
"McBride." Alfie said.
Maybe the name McBride is a commonly known name at this time, but then again if it was and his face was also commonly known.
The people that he saw on his way here including the taxi driver would have noticed him, but no such thing happened, maybe not yet.
"Ahh I knew it, please correct me if I'm wrong but, could you be related to the war hero Alfred McBride?" The man asked with a frown.
Alfie sat there for a moment thinking about what he could do with this.
"Yes, in the grandson of Alfred McBride, Alan McBride." Alfie said without missing a beat.
*PAH*
Agostino suddenly slapped his hands together in a clap with a smile on his face.
"I knew it, when one of my workers told me you have the spitting image of our Alfred McBride I couldn't believe it myself, but you really do resemble him almost too perfectly." Agostino said as his eyes carefully took in Alfie's appearance weirding him out.
"Your Alfred?" Alfie asked.
"Yes, you see the great Deathstroke worked in these very halls and kitchens during his younger days before he became the legend he is today. But that's not all, its hard to believe but Randallll Ravens himself worked here himself, he and Alfred McBride." Agostino said.
"Is that so?"
"Oh yes, you don't seem to know this even though you are his grandson." Agostino gave him a look.
"...well you see I'm not from here, I am from Italy and recently I just figured out that I have the lineage of his, and I came here to figure out more about him in the states." Alfie replied.
"Oh? Really? Then you came to the right place hahaha, my late grandfather himself was the owner of the place and Alfred McBride started working for him at the time.
Now sit and listen as I-" Agostino would have continued if Alfie didn't put his hand up to stop him.
"Before we get started, do you mind if I order first? I'm a bit hungry, I did come to eat in the first place." Alfie said.
•••••
Hours later Alfie walked out accompanied by a beaming Agostino who bid him farewells.
The talkative owner didn't let Alfie pay as he put it on the house since he is the "grandson" of Alfred McBride himself.
Agostino even showed the many pictures on the walls, where not only celebrities but legends were framed on that large wall.
Alfie had the most frames and was the most honored.
There was even a picture of a few presidents including President Dwight Eisenhower with a big wolf with him taking picture who Alfie could only recognize as Axel.
This brought back memories of him and Luna, there is no doubt that Luna is gone now and that he won't see her again.
He also saw a group of 50 adult people that took a group photo and called themselves the Morris Wolves.
These brought back a lot of memories that seemed like yesterday yet also way too far back.
Alfie saw a homeless man and walked straight to him before offering him a hundred dollars for the pack of cigarettes he had.
It was a win-win situation, the homeless man would get some money and he would get some cigarettes.
With a cigarette on hand, Alfie called out for another cab and made his way to the financial districts.
But halfway there, Alfie stopped the ride and stepped out onto the streets.
As he walked slowly along the sidewalks, he stopped to light up a cigarette before walking again.
But before he can keep walking straight on, Alfie suddenly did a sharp turn to the right and walked into an alley.
As he disappeared into the alley, two figures from the back rushed forward and into the alley just to see Alfie not there.
"Damn it!!"
"We lost him…"
"But how did he know?"
"HQ we lost him, we need eyes on top." One of them said.
As the man and woman retreated they didn't realize that Alfie stood just in front of them staring at them.
But it looks as if Alfie was in another world compared to everyone as the environment he was in looked the same but like a broken mirror.
The mirror dimension.
"Amateurs."
Alfie muttered before he walked off.

On top of one of New York's biggest skyscrapers, there was Ravens Industry plasted on the big building for everyone to see in the district.
At the top of the building, the highest few floors were the workplaces of the leaders and chairman of the company.
In the CEOs office, the interior was designed differently than most offices as it took on the color of goldish brown from wooden decorations.
Wooden walls, wooden tables, chairs, ground and other things also being wood.
This was the taste of Randall Ravens.
But that was the former Director, the CEO now is Ricky Ravens, the son of Randall Ravens.
Ricky took over the company much later around the late 80's during his mid-30's.
Of course Ricky was more than capable of inheriting the company in his teenage years but his father still had some things left to do before leaving his legacy to his son.
Since young, Ricky has been taught since young about the basics of business, or at least the smaller things a child can comprehend depending on their age.
And during his teenage years Ricky was more than able to handle himself in a small office assisting his father and other important figures.
During his 20's, Ricky started making small subordinate companies chaining back to Ravens Co.
These small but effective achievements sealed his seat after his father, and his father Randall is someone nobody is willing to piss off or displease.
The man Randall Ravens could be one of the most dangerous, mysterious and unpredictable men in the game of business.
Mr.Ravens is seen as a very calm, collected, and laid back person, just like a very goofy grandfather and fair competitions throughout his life.
But others who have been known to step out of line against Randall Ravens have had "accidents" happen to them.
They either get hurt or their life's work plummets.
Though that is only the things known on the surface, Mr. Randall Ravens was feared and respected behind the doors or in other words, underworld.
One of the reasons Ricky Ravens was late to become the CEO of Ravens Co. was because Randall was using the company to set up a few things in the background.
And in 1989 Ricky was publically the new Chairman of Ravens Co. but Randall Ravens himself still had many things he was in charge of.
The man was untouchable, factions in law enforcements, criminal organizations or even government groups either respect or steer clear of this man.
There were rumors in his files that the man has dark figures working for him, even his assistant was rumored to be an Amazon.
The man himself knew Alfred McBride as they worked in the same restaurant years back.
All in all there was so much enigma around Randall Ravens, and a lot of people are curious about this man.
Yet, his son Ricky Ravens, was not involved in his dark business as he has his hands full with Ravens Co. and he only hopes his father's shady business doesn't backfire and bring down the company.
Inside the office, Ricky sat in front of his desk full of papers and folders.
His suit jacket was taken off and hanged on the side as he slowly sipped on a mug of coffee staring at the papers in front of him.
It wasn't until he heard something did he look up, and when he looked up he was shaken as he jumped.
"WHUAA!!"
Ricky jumped up as the coffee spilled on his clothes along the desk wetting and staining the papers.
On one of the chairs in front of him facing him, Alfie sat there looking at him with a smile.
"Who- What?! Who are you?! How did you get in here?!" Ricky said panically.
Ricky was alarmed, but he was also calming down as this is not the first time he has met with these kinds of people.
"Ricky Ravens, son of Randall." Alfie said amusingly.
"...you're...no way...that's- that's… this is impossible how can this be? I must be…" Getting a clear look, Ricky realized something about this man, but then a wave of denial hit him.
"Nothing is impossible in this world, boy." Alfie said as he smirked at the middle aged CEO.
"Y- you're him!! But, how?! How can you be him?! He's dea- you're dead!" Ricky said.
"If I'm dead...than how am I here?" Alfie asked teasing the man.
Ricky stood there staring at Alfie as he stuttered and stammered his words trying to say something.
"Please, sit down and calm yourself."
As Ricky sat himself down he couldn't help it as he kept staring at the man in front of him.
"You are...him, right?" He suddenly asked.
"Well yes, last I checked at least, I'm guessing you don't know much about me do you?" Alfie asked.
"O- of course I do, other than the obvious historical war hero, you are also my father's friend, he tells me so much about y-you." Ricky said.
"Of course of course, but that is not what I mean, but I guess your father has reasons for doing things…" Alfie said as he looked away with some thoughts.
"What do you mean?" Ricky asked, he knew his father hides a lot of things from him but it was just to keep him safe and his hands clean.
But the sudden topic between his father and Alfie, who is thought to be dead, has piqued his interest greatly.
"Nothing, but if anything calls your father, where would he be at this time?"
•••••
In Upstate New York.
In a golf course that was fully empty except for a few men and women that stood between golf carts and employees looked at a man who swung his stick hitting the golf ball out gracefully.
The few business men and women wore professional attires along with assistants behind them.
But the man who just hit the golf ball was casually dressed but also professional enough with dress shoes, pants with a white buttoned down shirt and stylish sunglass.
"Haha another hole-in-one!!" The man yelled out cheerily.
The men and women clapped and complimented the man.
"It's to be expected Mr.Randall."
"You are definitely better than the professionals nowadays."
The man was Randall Ravens, the founder of Ravens Industries and many others behind the scene.
The man himself is over 90 years old, but he doesn't look like one and certainly doesn't act like one.
Sure his hair along with his beard and mustache may have turned white but he still looked like someone in his younger 50's and not someone with a cane sitting all day.
This was one of the reasons many consider him mysterious, and many were curious to the point of thinking he is immortal.
Some would ask what the secret is, and Randall's answer would be to 'Not Worry and Be Happy'.
But his more serious answer is 'Meditation'.
"Ahh enough with the asskissing, we're here to relax so loosen up." Randall said as he walked to one of the resort's employees holding a tray and taking a drink.
The few important looking people are ones Randall knew all their life.
Since the start of his career, Randall made it a hobby to find the most struggling people and raise them up into their fullest potentials.
Celebrities, businessmen and women, government officials, drug lords, small business owners, families, politicians, mafia boss' law enforcement officers and agents. Almost nothing is off-limits to Randall and this was his way of investing into the future and himself.
But just as easy as he could raise someone, he can also just as easily strip their powers or influence with just a few words.
Or if they step out of line, well it's their life that would be stripped.
And after more than 60 years doing this, he has made connections all over the world and mainly in the country. And Randall could have ran for president more than a few times and win all of them.
The people high up in life thanks to Randall are always tempted with offers and deals, but only after they reach their peak in life do they realize how scary the man is himself.
One of the many reasons Raven Industries is untouchable.
There are many tactics and strategies in business, legal or not it could always step over lines and get away with it.
And the secret path was what Randall started with, which brought him so high and solidified the company in the top 5 for years to come.
And Randall learned them all from just one person.
"Come now, come play and we'll talk business later." Randall said to the few important people standing around.
As they took his advice in loosening up, a women with white blazer and a small white dress walked into the field with her heels holding a folder of paper on her left hand and a phone on her right hand.
Following everyone's line of sight, Randall saw the woman.
"Ahh Ms.Meadus, glad you could make it." Randall said.
The others knew exactly who this is, Mr.Randall's long time assistant.
Since the start of the company she was always by his side, and just like Randall she didn't age much as she still looked like she was in her early 30's.
The blonde hair flowed in the wind as she came to stand in front of Randall and handed him the phone.
"It's your son, sir." Ms,Meadus said.
"Is it?! Huh, it's usually me that calls, maybe he's not busy." Randall grabbed the phone before speaking through it.
The phone was their own Ravens Industries latest product, and it's not as crazy as the Willis Inc. consumer technologies but it was still something.
"Hello? Kid? Is everything alright?" Randall asked through the phone.
The others kept themselves looking busy but their ears are definitely opened for the conversation.
While some had their eyes on the assistant who was rumored to be an Amazon.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Everyone turned to Randall as he suddenly laughed out.
"Well I'll be, Rona my dear, you won't believe who came back from the dead!!" Randall said as he looked at his assistant.
