Reunions

"THE FOOL!! What an idiot!!" Queen Selena grunted out.

As the large group of Amazons along with Hunter's wife and kids stayed outside getting to know each other, Selena, Hunter and Randall were inside the dome talking.

"How…how could that possibly happen?!" Randall asked in denial.

The most out-of-the-box person he knew, Alfie McBride, was not only captured but turned sides as well.

He knew Alfie as a man that's gushing with confidence, and not only that but he knew everything that's going to happen during this invasion and he ended up knocked on the head by the same guy that will be leading the invasion.

"This has to be a part of his plan, right?!" Randall asked.

"Unfortunately it's not. The chances of this going according to his plan is low, and even if it was, it can easily be countered and broken apart by him now…at least the new him." Hunter explained.

"What would you know about him?" Randall raised a brow at Hunter. "With great offense you don't know anything about the fool, ever since you came into this world you inherited a golden spoon that came with an inheritance, and that does not mean you know anything about the real world."

"Well no offense old man, but you don't know anything about me." Hunter rebukes Randall.

"I'd beg to differ."

Hunter turned to the Queen not paying any more attention to Randall and spoke. "You know how dangerous this situation is, with Alfie under Loki's control he could become much more dangerous than usual."

"You believe so?" She turned towards him.

"Of course."

"Then why aren't you finding a way to deal with this?"

"It's complicated. Me and a friend have been keeping tabs on them but we can't do much whenever we get close." Hunter said.

"Shocking." Randall commented sarcastically.

"Alfie?"

"He won't let us close up on him or the others, since he knows about the way of simply dispelling the influence in his mind."

"Are you that incapable of giving him a hard knock on the head?" Selena asked disappointed.

"We had a few chances but there were variables, now we can't even move because we are put in a situation by Alfie." Hunter said.

"What situation?" The queen asked.

Hunter opened a folder before putting a few photographs on the table.

Selena frowned. "Isn't this…"

"Yes." Hunter confirmed.

On the few photographs were pictures of a few people. Ones such as a doctor, a young teenager, a blind lawyer, a bald black man and a few others.

Selena and Hunter knew who these people were no doubt, but Randall he was lost. He thought he recognized the doctor but that was all.

"I don't get it, who are these people?" Randall asked.

"It was sent to me by Loki's men, no doubt the work of Alfie's." Said Hunter

Selena finally knew Alfie was using these people to threaten Hunter and Dominic.

"And them?" She pointed at the people in the pictures.

"I have a friend watching over them…" Hunter looked at Selena with a frown. "It's a checkmate, but we need more people, and we need to end this before it gets more out of control. Because it will if we don't."

The longer Alfie stays under Loki's control, the more things will fall apart out of their control. The possibilities are worrying.

Hydra? Sorcerers? Secrets? Future knowledge? Alfie, in Loki's stead, could use any of these to cause havoc in the universe and change it easily.

Opening Loki's mind to the power of not just the mind stone but all 6 infinity stones will surely grant him his so-called glory he was destined to be burdened with.

And Alfie will be the key to that.

"What do you have in mind?" Selena asked.

"I'd say we go off script…" Hunter said before side glancing at Randall.

"Randall, go and wait outside." Selena said without looking.

"What? Do I not have the right to hear what this is about?!" Randall said frustrated.

To him Alfie has never hidden anything from him that he doesn't know of, and would always provide answers.

But selena and this young brat Hunter seem to know more about this than he does. Alfie trusted him to have a hand in what's to come and give humanity a chance of better survival that's why he was always given more information than anyone.

Randall has met Hunter on many occasions in the business world, but at the time he was still a punk who didn't look like much.

He seemed to have come a long way.

No one answered Randall but he could feel the scary tension Selena was giving off.

There wasn't room to talk back.

"Aggh, what bullshitt!!" Randall stormed out frustrated.

After he was gone, Hunter continued.

"By going off script, I mean interrupting Loki's original plan."

"That's risky, Alfie would surely have plans for that other than busying your schedule by targeting the future heroes. And what makes you think Loki's plan would still stand after taking Alfie into his side?"

"It has to, I'm willing to bet on it. Alfie may have strategy on this but Loki's stubbornness might be just as big. We have to remember that he wants a stage and a crowd. So I doubt he will let Alfie kill off everyone in his way."

"As for Alfie keeping us away from ground zero, he is already doing so by keeping a few men sticking next to them." Hunter pointed at the pictures. "That would worry us enough to keep our hands full and watch over them, but…"

"With you, as the Queen of Deliosa, you can help significantly and if that's enough to keep the future safe then we can make a direct attack towards Loki and his plans which will garner Alfie's attention giving us a chance of winning."

"It sounds good, but it's always easier said than done. Where exactly do you plan on starting?" Selena asked.

"If I remember correctly, the destined gala in German stuttgart will be in two days, Loki will most likely be there."

"You plan to interfere?" Selena frowned.

"No, but I know that during this time Alfie will be busy doing what he can to keep us away from his mind captor."

"So then how should we deal a direct attack on Loki if we are not to interfere with him?"

"We don't need to actually head straight for the trickster god, we only have to make it look like we are aiming for him."

"Alfie's mind is not stable or simple while being mind controlled. No matter how confident or sure he is on his plans, a slave will always move according to it's master's will."

As Hunter spoke of his plans and Selena rebuttal, something new occured.

On top of a fire escape stairs on the side of a complex building sat a dark blue eyed Alfie looking at the city with a grim expression.

"Sir!"

A mind controlled agent called out to which Alfie didn't speak but simply looked back.

"The sword you were looking for, we've found it's location." The agent said.

A smile curved on the side of Alfie's face.

In a sports center where different types of sports fields come together in a big dome, there was a commotion.

In the basketball court, a large crowd came together watching the current game.

On one team it was all male while on the other it was all females.

The women's side was led by two ladies, Alina and Rona while the rest of the girls were normal women.

Now earlier when Alina and Rona came along with another Amazonian they caught a lot of eyes. It looked as if a hot aunty was taking her nieces out for a girls night out.

But when they started playing ball, people started gathering amazed by how Alina and Rona played. Though the other Amazon didn't play, she simply stood and watched holding the sword Alina had.

And not only were they dressed like modern people but the sword was wrapped so no one saw anything crazy.

But the jumps, dunks, and ball handles the two ladies had were insane.

Pictures were taken, videos were recorded and soon enough people will be amazed.

It's almost like they are inhuman, like those rumored Amazons that were spoken of.

As the group of ladies won the game of 21, understatement, Alina pulled Rona and the Amazon girl around her age.

Alina pointed at another area with excitement. "What about that one? It looks fun, let's try that."

"That's called baseball." Rona stated. "It's a fun game, in fact your father grew up playing this game."

"Is that so? Then you must teach me."

Rona started to teach her about the basics of baseball, just as she did with basketball a while ago.

Alina was a quick learner, while the Amazon with them? She was kind of a genius, at least more so than the average Amazon "geniuses."

Her name was Nakira, she looked like a beauty from the middle east. And she was a bit quiet but was responsible and reliable.

Nakira was just a few years younger than Alina but they both grew up together, as Selena and Rona saw how dependable Nakira was they stuck her with the thrill-seeking Alina.

They thought it might balance some things out.

*DING*

*WHOOODOOSH*

"Oops…"

As Rona threw a ball to Alina to practice swinging on it, she hit it a bit too hard as it zoomed out before hitting the roof of the dome.

"Whooo!!" Rona screamed out as she raised her arms cheering.

"That's my babyy!!" She bear hugged Alina before jumping around. Alina was just as excited.

As they continued hitting the dome ceiling, they gathered another crowd.

Unknowingly Alina and her aunt were slowly becoming a popular duo through social media. Tonight they snuck out with Nakira to have some fun while the other Amazons are guarding an empty room.

Soon the fun ended despite Alina's objections. According to Rona they've been out long enough and it was time to return or else the Queen will punish Rona herself.

As they walked to the car, Alina offered to drive to which Rona casually declined.

"But I insist." Alina persisted.

"No. You don't have a license to drive."

"I do. Look, Uncle Randall gave it to me."

"You need to pass a driving test first before you can drive on the public roads." Rona was firm.

"Then test me!" Alina said frustrated.

Even then Rona shook her head.

"As the princess of Deliosa I demand you give me the keys…" Alina said with power but slowly paused as she saw Rona stop on her tracks.

Alina and Nakira followed Rona's line of sight and saw a man standing a bit away from them, leaning against their cars.

The two young girls were confused, but Rona knew exactly who this was. And yet, her guts were somehow feeling weird.

"Alfie?" Rona asked.

"Alfi-?! Father?!" Alina was shocked along with Nakira.

The man jerked his head their way, specifically to the girl who called him father.

"Oh, that's new. Father?" Alfie squinted his eyes playfully.

"Alfie what are you doing here? I thought you had-"

"Father!!" Alina stepped up interrupting Rona while facing the man dressed in a black suit.

"You call me father…but who are you?" Alfie asked the young lady before looking at Rona in question.

"Alfie." Rona walked up between the two. "Let me formally introduce you, this is Princess Al-"

"Princess Alina McBride Kord. Daughter of Queen Selena of Deliosa and the Amazons, and of the Black Wolf, you." Alina said confidently.

"Ah, so you're the offspring of me and your mother?" Alfie asked casually.

For some reason the response made one of Alina's eyebrow twitch, she was frustrated but most of all she felt hurt.

Rona on the other hand was shocked, something was wrong. Something was different.

"Well daughter, it is a pleasure to meet you." Alfie stepped forward before tapping the princess' nose with his finger.

"May I ask what you are doing here without your mother?" Alfie asked.

"…" Alina was silent. "I was sent here first to deliver to you your sword." Alina quickly took the sword from Nakira.

The sword was covered in silver silk-like cloth, Alina then held it over for Alfie to take.

*BRRRR*

*BRRRR*

A phone rang, the others looked to Rona as she quickly answered it.

The place got more tense as they heard someone yell from the other side of the phone.

Rona's face morphed into displeasure as she was appalled by what she heard. She looked towards the others when she saw Alfie's hands going for the sword, grabbing at it.

"NOOO!!" Rona with all her super-amazonian strength jumped and rushed at Alfie, but it was too late.

As Alfie grabbed the sword with a firm grip, he didn't even turn to look as he crouched, sweeped his legs tripping Rona forward before making a side flip elbowing the back of her head smashing onto the ground before flipping back to make space between them.

As the two young Amazon looked about in shock and confusion, Rona stood up with worrying expression.

As they looked towards Alfie, the silver covering fell gracefully, the sound of a click made its way to their ears as the sword was slowly unsheathing.

"Ahhh to finally reunite, an Alpha to lead and strike towards all who stand before me." Alfie's smile widened.

"What's going on?" Alina looked back and forth towards Rona and Alfie in confusion. "Father?" This man seemed a bit different from what he has heard about.

"This man, as of now…he is not tour father." Rona said. She was nervous, because all they came with were hidden small daggers and not their favored weapons.

*WHOONG*

"Oh, more opponents. Skilled ones hopefully." Alfie chuckled.

He looked up as more than a few Ravenjets flew in circling him and the three amazons.

The doors opened as many Amazons dropped down encircling Alfie, and at the front of the group was not only Queen Selena but also Hunter who was fully geared.
