Reunion

" Must be isolated from the general population.

Must be soundproofed.

Must have centralised air conditioning.

Must be on the ground floor.

Must have white walls.

Must have a balcony that has a good view of the sunset.

Must have allowance of electricity for heavy duty machines.

Most importantly neighbours must be beautiful." Jonah Deng read out the conditions with a straight face. He sent the others in the private room in the club a serious look.

" Is she really looking for a place to live? These conditions…. But then this is Ying Yue. This is tame for her." Jonah talked to himself as much as for the others.

" So.. did you or did you not find a place?" Jiao Long asked his friend.

" Ofcourse I did. Who do you think I am? I already sent the contract to your place, along with the details of the place. It is a newly built four storey apartment, with only one apartment per floor. It is a little outside the city. Heard it was built for a pop star by his mother, so that he can have privacy, but is a secret from her own son that he can have that sense of freedom he wants." He explained in detail.

" Poor Aaron. He cannot seem to get away from his mother's strings." Sympathised Shi Zixuan.

There was a general sigh around the room because they could all understand the plight of overbearing mothers. Jaio Long and his four friends Jonah Deng, Shi Zixuan, Bai Ming and Jia Yawen have been friends from school. They have maintained their friendship despite the different ways their life took them.

" When is she coming anyways? Thought she would have come in with you. I want to ask her what she thinks of this place. I want to experience her brutal honesty once more." Said Bai Ming a little gleefully. To the five of them, who were all a single child, Ying Yue was like their precious sister. It was no secret that they gave her a hard time, but they were also the ones who protected, most of the time from behind the scenes. And they did have a little bit of sister complex.

" She will be here. She went to look at the laboratory in Huo Cosmetics. But she went as a prospective chemist rather than the future CEO. She called to let me to know that she will be here in 15 minutes. I think she was less than impressed with the labs though. She said talk to you about it."Jian Long said looking at Shi Zixuan.

" Yes.." Shi Zixuan thurst his hands up in the air. " I will monopolise her for a little while."

Jian Long just shook his head. He sometimes wondered if he did his cousin a disservice by introducing her to them.

" As if I would want to spend more than five minutes alone with you." Came a sarcastic voice from the outside and in strolled a tall beautiful girl with with her long hair swaying behind her. Her pink lips were twisted in a snarl as she looked at the occupants of the room.

" Baby Huo.." Screamed Bai Ming and Shi Zixuan and rushed towards Ying Yue with their arms outstretched.

But she evaded their hugs by sidestepping and did not turn to look at them colliding each other. The waitress who had escorted her up to the VIP room left with a bow, a little shocked to see her stoic boss behaving like a fan girl.

"Good to see you Brother Yawen." She greeted the one person other than her cousin she liked in the room.

" You should have come to the Alps again this year. I miss skiing with you." She pouted and sat beside her cousin.

" You went skiing with her?" Asked Jiao Long looking at Jia Yawen whom he had assumed was the least crazy one amongst them all.

He just shrugged and maintained his no emotion look.

" Brother J, you did not know? He came to Swiss six times in the three years I was there. And before that, he and I were climb buddies. He visited me in the US as well. He travels a lot for his business doesn't he." She said, completely unaware of the look of betrayals being aimed at Yawen.

" No, I was not aware." Jian Long said in a flat voice. This was the first time he was hearing about this, and he was shocked by it. Even he had visited Ying Yue only a handful of times because of the business. He could not believe that Yawen the one person who was even more busy than him had taken the time to go visit his cousin.

" Hmm" Ying Yue shrugged. She would be a fool if she had not realised their overprotectiveness from the moment she was introduced to them.

" Brother Yawen, I sent you a list of things I need. Some of them I am not sure is yet available here yet. But I want it by tomorrow. Please." She requested him with a cute smile.

" Should I send them to the lab?" Yawen asked her, having already seen her text and sent his secretary the list to obtain them.

" Baby Huo… I found the place you wanted as well. I sent the contract to your house. See.. I did a good job as well." Said Jonah Deng shamelessly, hoping to get on her good side.

She just nodded and talked to Yawen.

" Send everything to the apartment. My friend Nakshatra is coming in two day, she is helping me out." She explained to Yawen.

Yawen rasied his eyebrows. He has met her friend before, if Ying Yue was considered weird, Nakshatra was full on crazy.
