Little talks

One could see the panic in JianLong's face. Jade and his relationship was not a secret from everyone, but it was a secret from his family, and it caught him off guard that this tall friend of Ying Yue whom he has never met before knew so much about his life.

" Behave." Warned Ying Yue and smiled sympathetically at Jian Long.

" She is testing your expressions, now that your face has displayed shock, she will leave you alone for a little while." She explained and pulled Tara towards her and made her sit beside again.

" True. Rest easy Brother J, I won't reveal your secrets to Aunty. I have yet to meet her anyway. She has gone out for shopping, not for the new apartment you will be moving into but for Ying Yue. She has gone for partner shopping."

This time JianLong was a little better prepared, but still he could feel his body emitting out shivers.

" Little devil. Cut it out." Ying Yue warned again with a smile.

Tara rolled her eyes and shifted her eyes towards Yawen. She was about to blast him, just for a little fun but Yawen was better equipped to deal with her, so he quickly took out a couple of concert tickets and thirst it in front of Tara. She raised her eyebrows and leaned back a little to see what the tickets are actually for. She let out a little scream and snatched it away from Yawen's hand when she realised it was for a water theme park. Ying Yue nodded her head in approval. Tara was essentially a kid for all her smartness, as long as one knew the few things that ticks her off, it was super easy to distract her. Yawen having been dragged to a few theme parks with them knew that they were one of her weak points.

Having appeased Tara, Yawen and Jian Long took his seat opposite to them. Ying Yue poured some tea for her brothers.

" How is your search for investors?" Yawen asked Ying Yue.

Ying Yue twisted her lips in a grimace.

" It is ongoing. I suck at business. I just want to be in the lab working. I am absolutely the worst with handling the money. I do not just want an investor, I want someone who can be a Co-CEO as well. I do not want to tell Grandpa until I find a suitable candidate." She mumbled with a frown.

" You want to trust another person again?After what that loser did to you?" Asked Tara with a scowl.

" But you are right. Your management skills is horrible. Hmmmmmmm…. I will ask my cousin Aran, he is good with this kind of stuff." Tara answered herself.

At the mention of Aran, Ying Yue winced a little. Tara was right. He was a brilliant businessman. He was a visionary as well, he wanted to bring back the brilliance of wealth of his country back, and his company 'Bhoomi' was working on several projects in various sectors. He has already made huge changes in the agricultural department in trying to bring back green farming. He was a global phenomenon. Ying Yue after meeting him had to question the purpose of her existence. Such a man, would not hesitate to help Ying Yue, just because Tara had asked. But Ying Yue had more conscience. She would never implicate her Cosmetic company that was bound by laws to test on animals to be ever tied with such a guy.

" No Tara. Aran is too busy right now. He is working on that collab project with the Hawaiian scientist. And Beau is not a loser. Not a complete one anyway. He is good at what he does. It was that idiotic fiancé of his that was the problem. Besides, everything worked out didn't it? It is all fate, I was destined to take over my father's lab." She used flowery words.

Ying Yue did not believe in destiny and fates. But Tara did. She was a firm believer that everyone in this world had a role to play, and they would be alive only to fulfil that role. She did not follow any religion much to the regret of her parents, but she did believe in karma and fates. And Ying Yue did not want Tara to be pissed off at anyone, she was far too ruthless towards the people she thought had crossed her.

" You have someone on your mind for the position? " Yawen asked Ying Yue.

Ying Yue was silent for a little while. She was not sure if she wanted to open a can of worms by informing them about her two final choices. She wanted to keep things silent until she could have a meeting with the two companies. She knew how much of a busy body her brothers were. She met Tara's eyes, which twinkled in knowing.

" Nope. Still searching." Ying Yue lied.
