Everything Goes

The sun hasn't rose full yet, but I took the opportunity to wake up early to train.

It was the usual routine. Train my martial arts and my magic next.

2 hours have passed and it seems that I need to finish this training, I need to wait for Princess Ingrid.

****

"Shall we go, Princess?"

"Lead the way."

I opened every door that would come our way until we got out of the dorm.

We walked towards the school, seeing it is just a few meters ahead.

It will be the first day of school. I expect it to be something. We'll be finding out what class we'll be in today. When we finished the exam yesterday, they said that they'll be assigning the class on the same day, so we can expect that our class assignment will be announced today. To be honest, I don't care what class I'll be in. Be it the worst class in the academy, I'll still work hard for the top rank.

I need to. I need to graduate this academy and start my own adventure. To start looking for my father. He was always packed with mysteries. I only knew him when I was a child. I don't even know what he looks like, but I'm definitely going to find him.

I was in deep thought but I continue to follow her.

We entered through the massive school gate. From afar, grunting sounds from students can be heard. I looked far ahead and saw many students flocking on one spot. The Princess seems to be intrigued and headed towards there.

From the group of the students, one saw Ingrid. He tapped his friend, and that friend another one until eventually knew she was there. Seeing that she's here, the people dispersed, making a path for us to walk through for the bulletin board.

"Class Arrangements."

Oh, so that's why. Everyone was flocking on one place for the class arrangements. She puts her hand on her chin and started looking for her name. Seconds after, she finishes.

"Uhmm... Princess, can I look for my name as well?"

"Don't bother. I've already looked up where you will end up. Your in my class, the Honor Class."

"Sorry, Princess. I've bothered you to do such task."

" It was nothing. Shall we go now?"

"Yes. If it's the Honor Class, it should be that, right, Princess?"

"Yes."

Ahead of us, there was a big building. It stood taller than any building. It was design thoroughly with care and expertise. If one could call it, it would be a masterpiece. It's what you would expect from a prestigious school.

"Ah! Trent, Ingrid! "

"Hello there, Ceres."

"Hello Ingrid. Hello Trent."

"Good to meet you Ceres."

"Do you two know what class you'll two be in?"

"Yes, we just finished looking."

"Good for you. I'm going to look at mine, wait a minute."

Ceres started to run towards the bulletin board, but Ingrid stopped her midway.

"You don't have to bother, you're in the same class with us two."

"Really!? Yes! I thought I'd be separated from Trent and Ingrid."

She continues to rejoice and talks to Ingrid. After minutes of talking, she finally notices something.

"Uh? Why were the two of you together?"

"Huh? I thought you knew, Ceres. Starting from today, I'll be Princess Ingrid's bodyguard."

"Oh right. You do a good job Trent. Ingrid, you don't have to worry, with Trent by your side, you'll be always safe."

"That's a relief then."

"Shall we proceed to our classroom?" I asked the both of them.

"Lead the way."

****

"Hey, it's Princess Ingrid and Princess."

"You're right... Who's the guy with them?"'

"I heard he's the new servant of the Royal Family."

"I heard he's the bodyguard of Princess Ingrid."

"But, say, doesn't he have a handsome face?"

"Yeah, yeah..."

"Hey, try talking to him."

"Eh!? Me? I'm not used to talking to strangers."

"Wait, I remember him. He's the guy who lives in the girls dorm."

"Really? Why is he there though?"

"I heard it was the Queen's orders."

"Just who is he?"

"Ughh."

They're talking about me. I just got here and even don't know anyone and yet almost everyone knows me.

"Ah. Princess Ingrid, your presence delights me."

Out of nowhere a red-haired guy appeared. Two guys were following behind him.

"You may not have heard of me so I'll introduce myself. My name is Charles of the Fretcher House."

"I hope that the Princess will find my company delightful."

He then puts his right hand on her shoulder. He moves besides her, hitting me in the process. His hands slowly slides down from her shoulder, to her back and then ends up on her waist. It was as if she was his. At this point, I knew what I had to to.

"Hey," I grab his hands.

"... get your hands off from the Princess."

He then looks behind.

I grabbed his wrist with force, and pulled his arm away from her waist.

"What do you think you're doing? You're just a servant."

The Princess moved to the side.

"You have the balls to lay a hand on me you bastard."

"You're the one who had the courage to walk up to the Princess, and started to touch her."

"You... You're just asking for a beating. Let go of my hand now."

"If I let go of your hand, can you promise that you won't talk to the Princess anymore nor even go near her?"

"Eh!? What's up with that? Why should I listen to a servant at the first place? Let go of my hand now!"

He continued to squirm away his hands from my hands and finally finds his hands to himself again. He continues to glare at me. But with such feeble ferocity, I wouldn't be even shaken.

"Hmph! You look weak. I bet I can beat you up in just 10 seconds."

He removes his blazer uniform, and held his hands up. He was ready for a fight. As for me, I'd rather not fight, but if he insist, I'll fight for self-defense.

"Fight me coward."

"I'd rather not fight you right now."

"Weakling. If you don't fight, then I'll just attack."

"I'm warning you. I don't want to fight."

"It's just because your scared."

He walked up to me to close the gap between him and me. He posed himself in a fighting stance. He then proceeded to punch me. It hit my right cheek.

"Hahaha. You coward you didn't even had the capacity to dodge that!? Laughable."

He then removes his fist on my face.

"Let me ask you this instead, do you even have the capacity to hurt me?"

The moment he looked at my unscathed face, he was surprised. It clearly hit my face.

"Hmph. I was not even trying at that point. Take this another one."

It hit again, but the same thing happened. It didn't even left a small scratch.

"Are you done tickling me?" I mock him.

"It seems your done."

I turned my back on him and continued walking with the two Princesses."

"I must say, I like your resistance to hit him back there."

"Thank you, Ceres."

"Wait fool!"

The air seems thicker.

I turn around and see Charles with a magic empowered fist coming at me. He was clearly running for me.

Such a child, Time to teach him a lesson. He went in for a punch. I waited for the fist first and then redirected it towards my lower body and locked it using my armpit. I tilted my

body to initiate a throw.

* Bam!*

His back landed on the hard and solid ground. He grunted, injured the pain that was inflicted on him. Later on, he passed out.

"Charles!"

His comrades then came in running. They helped him to get up.

"You bastard! You got balls."

"We'll remember this. You better watch your back."

They picked him up and went the separate direction.

****

"Hey, hey. Did you saw that? Did he just won against Charles?"

"It seems."

"Not only he is handsome but strong as well..."

We were on our way to our classroom. Everyone that we had just passed by were all looking at our group, especially at me. Rumors should be circulating now. It's what you expect from kids in adolescent stage.

I continue to follow the two girls to our classroom. We stopped in front of a relatively big door.

I opened it and let the two enter first and I follow behind. When we entered there were stares from the students around the room. It's what you expect, the royal princess is in the room.

"Princess Ingrid, it's nice to meet you."

When we entered, a guy ,with a light shade of brown for a hair and wears glasses, welcomed us. I was worried for a bit, because of the incident earlier, but it seems I can trust this guy. He seems to be proper disciplined.

"It would be an honor being in the same class for the next three years. I'm Tristan Grove."

He then bowed.

Ingrid said nothing but bowed. She continued walking towards an empty seat. He saw Ceres so he proceeds to great her. It was the same, but Ceres showed more sincerity.

"I'm Trent Faer. It's nice to meet you."

"Same here."

I figured I'd greet him because of the cold reception from the two earlier. I bowed and then followed the two.

Each seat in the room can hold up to two people. Ingrid and Ceres took a vacant seat up front. It's given that I'm Ingrid's bodyguard so I took a seat behind them. There was someone who was seating there.

"Uhm, can I take the seat right here?"

She looks right behind me and a familiar face entered y field of vision.

"Y-yes..."

She was the one who I saved during the exam. Sava was it. Yeah I think it was Sava. Now that I think about it, she was also the one who I saw naked the other day. Crap, I think I need to apologize.

I took my seat and was ready to apologize.

"S-Sava was it?"

"Y-yes?"

"About the other day..."

I stood up.

"I'm really sorry!"

I shouted and everyone in the room looked at me.

Ah crap, I think I shouted. I slowly sat down.

"Trent? Why did you shout 'I'm sorry'?"

"Ah, Ceres. It was nothing."

"Okay if you say so."

She returns talking to Ingrid.

I quietly sat there waiting for the teacher.

Ah, for a first day, it was tiring the class hasn't even started yet.
