The Gig.

After a long time of stressful meetings. Mae decided to hang out to her favorite bar. The Otaku Pub. This is mix idea of her and the twins. Mako and Miko are a huge fan of anime and so is she. The twin already done voice over for some famous anime shows. While she likes to compose some OST for it.

"Good evening Ms. Mae". From the guards to all the waiters they greet her with a smile when they saw her. She makes her way to the bar. Jurie is already there along with Jenny their other friend. This is their hangout place whenever they're all free.

"Yui... Here!!!!"

"Jennie... It's too early and you're already drunk? What's wrong?"

"What else... No other than that blind brother of yours!!!"

"Huh?" At first, she didn't get it. When Jurie whisper.

"It's Kenji. You know she's still chasing that ice king."

"Oh... Did you already meet Ken Ken? He's still busy for his transfer here." She know how Jennie really like his brother for so many years now. She already does all the things she knows to melt the ice king. She even declared to many people that he's going to be her husband. That what makes Kenji distance to her more.

" I did.. You know what that idiot told me?"

"I'm listening..." but instead of telling them she just cry out loud like a baby. She met Jurie eyes and she just shudder. "OK, that's enough maybe it's about time to end this chase with him even though he is my brother I don't want to see you being like this because of him."

"No... She's going to be my husband that's for sure." Jennie stand up and face her. She grab her shoulder and slightly shake her. "Listen to my future sister in law, I won't... You hear me? I will never give up on that ice king!!! Understood?"

"Well, that's the spirit." Jurie is shaking her head. "So how's the meeting with you're moron bro--- I mean with your boss.?" Jurie corrects her words instantly because Jennie knows nothing about it at all.

"Wait... We both all agree that we don't talk anything related to work when we're here right. And oh, by the way, have you heard Yui? Your prodigal husband is back!!.. That jerk cousin of mine!!!.. I'll skin him alive if he didn't give me a proper explanation why did he do that.!!!!"

She can't help but to smile when she heard the same exact word Jurie told her this morning. She order first her favorite drink before she answered." Uhm. In fact, we already met." she took her drinks and drink it in one shot. Ahhhh... So relaxing. She's not a heavy drinker she just drinks occasionally but tonight is an exemption.

"What?????!!!! HOW??!!" Jurie and Jennie said in unison.

"This afternoon. He's with our business client," she answered casually trying to hide any emotion. "Maurine. Another one please," she said to the bartender.

"Oh great!!!.. So? How's your first meeting? Did you give him a crispy slap? a juicy kick and a bone mashing punch? Well, he deserved more than that you know." among them who even don't know anything about fighting Jennie loves to say violent words. Being a doctor she is.

"No... We just talk like we don't know each other. Only pure business. And besides, he is with someone too so no chance." she shrugged.

"Awww... What a shame. You should give him some karate moves that ice king thought you. Well, so what's the plan?"

"Still the same. I don't have anything about him now. All I want from him after all these years is only one thing... His signature for our divorce paper." she shut her eyes tightly and took a deep breath calming herself... "C'mon let's hit some bass!!!" she asked them cheerfully.

The manager in charge immediately ask his personnel to set up the instruments on stage. Jurie took the electric guitar, Jennie make her way to the piano, while She sat behind the drum set. They don't have their vocalist now because she's still in her honeymoon for almost 4 mons. For God sake!!!. Her brother Jake really enjoying their time wandering around somewhere. She pat her drum stick together with beat of counting.

"1..2..1234!!" Soon the place is filled with lively music. The dance floor is full of those energetic people.

A group of people is gathered in one of the VIP room upstairs. From their place, they can see clearly what's happening downstairs.

"I have no idea that your cousin knows how to play instruments. I thought she's just all about scalpel and human anatomy." It was Jin. He may be Noah's assistant but he's also one of his buddies. And whenever they're not in the office they're hanging out together to have some drinks and fun.

"They always have a gig here. Three times a week they're here to make this place lively." It was Ben another friend of him.

"I can see you're a loyal customer here Ben." He commented.

"Well. The place is not bad if you're just trying to relax. Although they didn't offer girls here the service here is great. Hey Luke!!!.. Are you looking at her again?"

"Mind your own business!!!.. I'm busy watching my angel."

"You're hopeless... How many times you've been here already and yet you still have a chance to meet her or to even ask her name."

"Well, I can't do anything about it. The staff here don't want to give me any information about her. Say Noah the girl in the piano is your cousin right? Mind if you call her here to ask who's that angel I'm dying to meet."

"Who are you talking to in there?" Jin and Noah look at the stage. There are three girls in there and one of them is his cousin. He immediately recognized the girl in the electric guitar. It's one of his cousin's friend. Jurie."

"The girl behind the drum set. She's so cool. Her smile is priceless."

"Oh jeez, Luke!!! You're creeping me out. Can you hear your self? You're so old for that kid."

They looked at the girl behind those big drums. She's wearing tight jeans and a fitted blouse. Her hair is tied in a messy bun. But her spot is quite dim so they can't see her clearly.

"This place really change a lot when the new manager bought it. I remember this place as a drug den back then. We caught a lot of drug addicts youngster and criminals hiding here. Kenji is really good in that field."

"Yeah, that man is so fearless... He don't care who will he going to deal with. Well, look at this place now. There's still a lot of youngsters but just to have pure fun. And I heard all of the earnings of this place is used to fund an orphanage."

"Really. Is an owner of this place is a Saint or what?"

"Well, no one knows who's the real owner is. People just knew her by name. In fact, maybe you know her Noah since you both have the same surname."

"Her? The owner is female? That's new usually a business like this operates by men." Jin grab some peanuts and pop to his mouth.

"Well maybe I know here there are only a few Han in this place and I knew them all. What's her name?"

"Mrs. Han... Mrs. Yuiren Mae Han."

When he heard this Noah accidentally spit his drinking.

"Hey. Are you alright? Jeez man, what's with you.!!!"

Even Jin almost choke on what he's eating upon hearing the name. He immediately swallow his food and drink water. While Noah is still coughing.

"Hey... Is that serious? Are you ok man?"

"I'm fine. Can you say the owner's name again." He tried to calm himself by drinking water that Jin gave to him.

"Well, I'm not sure. But this place is registered under the name of Mrs. Yuiren Mae Han. And base on the rumor. She's still young and don't really have a husband. I wonder why she called Mrs. Han then. Some also said she already has two kids."

"Maybe her husband is already passed away. Jeez. They said she's a beauty with the heart. A hot mama for sure. I want to meet her. They also said she's leaving alone somewhere near here."

Noah's expressions become dark when he heard Ben said this. He excuses himself to go to the bathroom.
