"But Josh doesn't love me." Yui is like just whispering when she said this. "And I know what he did is just part of our act."

Mako still heard it. He gave her a puzzled look.

"I mean.. I know he loves me but not as a woman but as a friend or as a sister perhaps. He had someone he loved for a long time now."

"Ehh?.. Who told you that?"

"Josh himself." Yui don't understand, that night when Josh tell her about the woman he loves dearly that he really dare to risk his life for her, he felt jealous. At first she didn't give attention to it. But now… How come now everything had changed just because of that kiss?

"Did Josh told you who she is?"

Yui shook her head. "No. He just told me that they had been betrothed to each other. He even risked his life to her when he save her from danger. But the girl is already married and he said she's happy with her husband so he let them be." Yui close her eyes to calm herself.

Miko didn't say anything. He's trying to study her sister's behavior. Alas.. If he just knew that their conversation will go this deeper, he probably ask her to use those devices they use to her last time." So.. What's your plan?" He asked afterwards.

Yui took a deep breath first. "I'll just go with our acting thing I guess. I don't know what I really feel for Josh. When it comes to Noah.. Honestly, part of me says that I still love him despite what he did. I still want to know the reason why he left me. Maybe by then I can make the right decision" Yui said sincerely.

When Josh received a notification about the meeting again, he knocks on Yui's room.

"Little Mae. Are you sleeping?" He called. "I'm going out for a bit. If you need anything call me, I'll be back soon!!" He added but no one answered.

Josh just let it be. He's thinking that she might already sleeping right now. He decided to check her later after this meeting. He walks away to her door and go to the study room. He uses the secret door and go straight to the next room. He took a shower first before went in front of his laptop. As the video call connects five faces are shown on the screen.

"What's with the sudden call?" He impatiently ask.

"You cunning fox!! You surprised us.. In just five days you have your very first checkmate!!" Nick started with glee.

"Not only that.. 3 times in one day? Huh.. Hand down on you bro!!!" Miko said with same tone as Nick.

"What are you talking about?" He asked in confusion.

"Look for yourself." As soon as Nick that many photos pops up on her side screen.

That strange.. Those photos look familiar. Josh gave each photo a scrutinizing look. Indeed!!! Those are taken earlier.

"Where did this come from?" He asked still looking at the photos.

"Right!.. You are dumb when it comes to what we called social media." He heard Nick mock at him.

"I'm not dumb on those stupid things!! I'm just not interested. You gain nothing in there but only false news and gossip." He defended. He really don't use any social media platforms. He preferred watching on TV's, reading on Magazine and newspapers.

"Your photos is everywhere!! All people saw it except you!! Well I think my sister haven't seen it yet." it was Miko. "So? Care to explain this? Oh.. There's another one!! Wait I'll send it to you."

Another window pops up on his screen. This time it's a video. No need to play it coz he already knows what's that video all about.

"Congratulations man!!!!! You have your first kiss!! Three times in a row!!" Nick laughed on the other side.

"Just shut up!!!" He scorned. "What's the real agenda?" Everyone becomes serious after saying this. He knew it. They won't make a sudden meeting just for that.

"The Gala will be two days from now. Mostly influential people are invited. Including my Dad." Kenji speaks for the first time.

"Huh?! Uncle too? When did Uncle become interested in the business world?"

"My Dad don't know anything about business ever since. And now they're just enjoying their retirement with Mom."

"Then why? How?"

"I just found it out when dad called me. He asked me if Yui can come on his behalf since Yui's name is also mentioned in the invitation."

"It's strange right? Base on what Uncle told me when I confirmed this to him. He never introduced Yui to just anyone. Just to his friends in the military. If the host of that Gala is a former military officer, it's impossible you don't know him Kenji." Jake gave his opinion.

"I'll assure you, there's no such name in military circle. I already use all my sources to prove that." Kenji answer.

"How about you Mako, Miko did you find something?" Jake asked the twins.

"Zero… As in zero. All we know is he is Wacky's step father. A married man with a son but hide it with Wacky's mom and married her. When the time they found out that, that man is already married the first wife already died by committing suicide. His son that's barely 9 years old by that time was left at his sister in law's care for until now we don't know who." Miko explained patiently.

" He knows how to hide his tracks. We been following some leads but in the end back to zero." Mako added.

"Change plan. You're going to attend with her on the Gala." Jake said with authority.

"You know your sister hates that kind of events."

"I already talk to her, and she said she's coming with you."

Josh didn't answer. Honestly he don't want to go there. If not for Wacky he will never show his face in that kind of event. "You talk to Wacky?"

Jake nod. "Wacky ask me personally to send you there. And since you are going to use my sister as an excuse for not going there. I asked her first."

"Fine.. I'm going with her.. Is that all?"

"One more.." Kenji added. "This afternoon Han private jet flew toward there. You know what does it mean right? Expect him for coming to her anytime."

Josh groaned in irritations. What a very persistent guy!! He pinched the bridge of his nose and close his eyes when he remembers something. "How did he know we're here?"

"I told you, he's also invited on that event. And he track your location the last time he call Yui." As expected you can't hide anything from this Young General.

Josh groaned again. He under estimate that guy. Now he needs to think of a way for them not to meet.

" That's all for now. Mako have a word with you so we leave you two alone." after this Jake drop his line. Kenji and Nick do the same. While Miko who shares the same server with Mako just leave his twin brother alone and go outside.

"I want you to listen to this and I also want your opinion." Mako stated the conversation with his usual serious face.

Soon. The conversation between two people heard on the other side. It's Yui's and Mako's voice. He listened to it attentively. As the conversation go.. He can't help but feel disappointment and sadness. Yui still love Noah. That's what all he understands in the entire conversation. He tried to hide the pain and stay calm while listening to it until the end.

As soon as the conversation ended, Mako ask him again.

"So.. What do you think?"
