I promise you.

It's going to be a hot day as summer is at its peak. Ylan immediately finished his homework. He choose to take night classes so he can watch over his wife in the day time. Ylan looked at his watch. Today Yui have an outdoor training. Cyrus is already there for him as he needs to catch some sleep after staying up the whole night because of his studying. 

After putting back all his school things on his bad. He grabbed a clean white face towel on his drawer. He checked it first and make sure it's really clean. Although he knew it is coz he personally wash it after he bought it. Then he walked to the kitchen and grab a bottle of chilled bottled water. He's about to leave when he remembers something. He immediately went back to his room and pick the flower on the vase. 

 Alstroemeria or Lily of the Incas. Alstroemeria symbolizes friendship and devotion, and the twists in the flower symbolizes the trials and tribulations of friendships. If he wants to get near to her offering friendship first is the best choice. He doesn't want to scare her by sending flowers that will express his feelings for her. Besides she's still young.. No in fact she's still a kid and he wanted her to enjoy her youth first. He don't want to force her and ruin the happy and peaceful life she has now. He's fine at watching her from afar. Waiting for the time to come that she will remember him. 

He put it inside the folded towel then wrap it on the bottled water to last its freshness until she can see it. He looked at the framed picture on his table. It's a photo of him and Yui under the big tree. He's holding her hand that time as he says his vows. For Yui that time maybe it's just part of their play but for the people watching them that day, they witnessed how young kids get married at a very young age. They are the youngest married couple indeed. 

"Little Mae.. I promise this time. No one will hurt you anymore. You only deserve happiness this world can give." He whispered, touching the girl with a sweet smile on her face in the photo on his hand. He place back the framed picture and walk outside towards his big bike. 

When he arrived at the Academy, many students are turning their heads on him. Wearing the same uniform as them riding on one of the expensive big bike with a very handsome looks like a God is not an ordinary sight for them. Although there's a lot of handsome and good looking and rich guys on campus, not all of them can give a God like aura like him. 

He needs to pretend as one of the students there so he can come and go without questioning by the guards on the gate. The moment he removed his helmet makes the girls around scream in admiration. He took his bag that only consist of a pair of plain white shirts and camouflage pants with a small size and the bottled water that wrap in a white towel. In short what's inside his bag is not totally for him but for her wife. He always bring a spare clothes for him in case something comes up and she needs one. 

As much as possible he didn't want to grab some attention. He hides the true color of his eyes by putting contact lenses and wear a pair of thick glasses to make him look like a nerd student. But little did he know this get up makes him more noticeable for some girls. A nerd with a very good looks and nice built. 

He quickly made his way on the training sites. He immediately saw Yui among the students that's struggling under the heat of the sun. He frowned when he saw her drenched in sweat. He made a mental note to buy some effective sunscreen for her later. He watches her as she does those hard drills. The frown on his face change into a faint smile when he saw her smiling despite the hardship. 

He took the water in his bag when he spotted Wacky's car. He walk to where he saw Yui's things and secretly put it on the top of her things then continue his way to his friend's car.

"Another gift from secret admirer?" Cyrus tease him as he enter on his car. 

"I'm not just an admirer! I'm her husband!" He scowl. This guy always tease him whenever he got a chance. 

"Haha.. I just found it cute. You're like a teenager who's secretly watching his crush. Sending cute stuff and wait for her until she gets home safely." There's silly grin on his face. "I'm sure you're sister will be happy to see you act like a normal teenager now." 

Ylan didn't answer. She can't blame his sister to feel worried about him. After losing Yui for the second time he also almost lost his rationality. A young age his hands already tainted with blood. It's not that he cares about it but when Yui run away with those deep wounds in her body, he became like a different person. He's worried sick. He turned the night into day just to find her again but failed. 

After a year or so he heard about the news of the orphanage's selling the unwanted children to the human traffickers. He immediately gathered all the information he can extract regarding it. Although the place is too far from where he last saw her, he still take a risk. His heart rejoice when he saw Yui's face in the list of the children there. Without further ado, he went to that place and looked for her. 

The military handled the situation well. Led by General Sato they successfully manage to bring back all the kids. Josh wants to get Yui when she brought back to the orphanage but the good General have an eye on her too knowing that no one wants to adopt her because of her deep scratches on her body. Her face remains unscratch but when you look at her legs closely you can see the ugliness of her past. 

He visits her one day just to be shocked that she didn't know him. She didn't talk too much and always stay alone in the corners. Her eyes are now looks dull and lifeless. She never smiles anymore. Her beautiful hair is dry and frizzy. But despite of all of it she's still look like an angel. Ylan hearts ache seeing her like this. He wants to hunt down those people who did this to her and peel them alive. 

When he heard the good General is planning to adopt her, he back down a bit. After investigating the Sato's he found out that they are good people. On her last night on the orphanage, Ylan visits her again. With the help of the kid namely Hannah, she brought him to her room. Yui is still the same, lifeless eyes and never speak or smile. He brought her her favorite dessert. Mango Ice-cream cake. 

"Little Mae.. I have something for you." Yui didn't answer. He took a deep breath and take out the cake from the box. He sat on the floor in front of her. "Look.. You know, this is your favorite. I personally made this. Here try some." still Yui did give her any emotion. He scoop some ice-cream on it and put it in her mouth. 

When a cold thing touched her lips Yui subconsciously open her mouth. Ylan face lighten up a bit because of this. Ylan saw a flash of emotion in her eyes when she tasted the food. He didn't waste any seconds and feed her more. To his surprise Yui just take all of it until she finishes the small cake. Her eyes now shows a faint glow unlike before. 

When it's time for him to leave. Yui grab his arm to his surprise. "Don't leave." She said. Looking at his eyes. 

Ylan wants to hug her and take her with him. Thinking it's not the proper time yet he just hold her hand like what he did under the big tree and said. 

"No matter what happens I'm always here for you. I'm always your only King, your Prince and your Knight all in one like you always wanted me to be." Ylan kiss her both hands. "Someday I will be back for you and bring you the world that offers you nothing but pure bliss…I will find you no matter what." He caress her cheeks. "So please until that day comes. Be safe and strong. I'm always at your side, watching over you." He kisses her on the forehead. "I promise you, from this day forward, I won't let anyone hurt you again until the day I die." He whisper.
