*Monday*
The next morning I would already be on my way to school, I meet up with Alessia, and continue walking to school.
'How was your weekend?' She asks.
"It was good, I read a little, studied, did my homework, and relaxed, How was yours?" I reply
'It was amazing.' She replies with a big smile on her face.
"Oh? What made your weekend "amazing"?"
'There's this guy in my class, that I've had a crush on for a while..and he asked me out.' She'd have a bigger smile.
"Oh..that's..that's nice." I smile, trying not to sound or look upset. "I'm happy for you."
'Hey, Tyler?'
"Hm?"
'Do you have a crush on anybody?'
I shrug. "No."
'What, why?'
I shrug again. "I don't see what makes me interesting to others, I don't see why anyone would be interested in being with me."
'Tyler, anyone would love to be with you, you're funny, kind, athletic, and caring. Trust me anyone would love to be with you.'
I shrug. "Maybe those are just your opinions though.."
We both walk into the school, heading to our lockers, being quiet the rest of the way.
'Are you ready for tryouts this week?' She finally breaks the silence.
I nod.
'Well, good luck, Tyler.' She heads down a corridor to her class, and I head down the opposite corridor heading to my first class of the day, Geometry. I get there and sit in my same spot, as soon as the bell rings, the teacher would walk around and put a quiz on everyone's desk. Thankfully for me studying before today, I slowly take my time on it, and show my work, I would be one of the last ones done, getting up and handing it in. Then I go back to my spot and draw to keep myself occupied till the bell rings.
The rest of the day would slowly pass by, as the bell for the end of the day rings. I get up and head to the football field. When I get there a lot of people would be on the field and some on the bleachers. I feel a light punch on my shoulder, looking back and seeing Alessia along with her friends and some dude I've never met before and Tom, Jerry, and Joey.
'Hey, Tyler.' Alessia says.
"Hey, Alessia.." I reply.
'..What?' She asks.
"Nothing, I just don't really see you at these type of things."
'Well, I also wanted to introduce you to someone.' The guy that was standing beside her would step up.
'Steve, this is my best friend Tyler. Tyler, this is Steve, my boyfriend.' She says.
'Nice to meet you, Tyler.' Steve puts his hand out for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you, too. Steve." I put my hand out and shake his hand.
'Good luck, I hope you make the team.' He nods then walks up the steps and sits down on the bleachers.
'Wait up Stevie!' Joey would yell, following him.
'My name's Steve! Not Stevie!' Steve replies.
'Good luck, Tyler.' Alessia hugs me before going up the steps with her friends and sitting next to Steve.
I smile, then head onto the field.
