GUARDIANS OF AMESTRIS: INFERNUS

Shuusei, a renowned martial artist and the young master of the Hattori Family, has the ability to'see' creatures of the netherworld. Due to the Hattori family's unique history with demons, spirits, and monsters, Shuusei was appointed the commander of the AMESTRIS Exorcism Order at the age of 16.



One day, Shuusei was assigned to investigate the [Vampire Murder Case], which had caused persistent tension among the people of Theos Empire. People become wary that they'll be the next victim. They'll travel in groups and keep doors shut tight at night. They don't feel safe out on the streets as long as the serial murders continue. At the climax of his investigation, Shuusei could not imagine the culprit behind the [Vampire Murder Case] was who he had imagined. Being his first failure, Shuusei relinquished his position to his second-in-command and disappeared from the crime investigation industry.



Three years later, Satoya, AMESTRIS's second-in-command, discovered a new lead. Determined to catch the culprit this time, Atsushi searched for Shuusei, which he eventually found under the disguise of a university student in one of the neighbouring towns.

The former commander of the AMESTRIS then learns of the current state of affairs and sudden death threats from crime organisations he had no connections with; he has no choice but to return to his rightful position.
