A handsome Greek tycoon finds a cleaning woman hiding in a corner of his office and is taken instantly with the beautiful lady he finds.
But when she overhears some confidential data, a thought suddenly occurred that he could use an excuse. For the next few days to maintain her chained to his side.
"When you're my wife, I'll expect you to do exactly as you're told at all times." A stark little silence fell. Stella couldn't believe what Dio had just said.
"Most especially when I am considering your welfare," he added gently. Stella trembled and compressed her bloodless lips.
"You're not seriously asking me to… to marry you?" "Very seriously," Dior asserted.
"But we hardly know each other—"
"We know a little enough that I like you. I respect you. I desire you. What more is there?"
"What about… love?" she prompted, striving for a detached tone. "What about our children?"
First.. i admit this novel is really intriguing.. it felt real actually the dilemma the feeling the helplessness and everything.. actually i find the FL was stupid i mean she sould know from the start this marriage will be a so difficult and this trust problem sooner or later will break them.. i wish she can be more selfish with her self n the child i know she really want this marriage to work but it needs two people to make this marriage work.. well let's see how this couple overcome the problems later.. n you've done a good job author-nim just there's few typos i hope better improvement later..
GOOD READ, if you like the typical rich vs poor love story, with a rich, vile woman as the 3rd party...typical conflicts, the usual cliche...but what i like about it is how the writer has captured my attention from start to finish, and able to evoke various emotions in me as a reader...I HATE DIOR...i wanted to slap Aria...and I was rooting for Stella...it only goes to show the writer's prowess in writing...I'm not happy with the ending, but then again, who doesn't wish a happily ever after, right???
I really enjoyed the story!!! I have to admit I cried a lot, but I am happy with the ending.
This is my second novel by this Author. And I do love the story. Although the plot is not as unique as it can be but what makes it enjoyable is the way the Author did the storytelling. Thank you for sharing your talent thru you novels. It will not be surprising if all your novels become well sought after in the future. Keep on writing while I will definitely follow your novels. I thought it was a pretty good short read. A couple of chapters were repeated but that didn’t take away from the overall story. Both main characters had a lot of issues but who doesn’t in real life. If you’re looking for some love at first sight type stories then check this one out 😊
This is the first review after reading one third of the book. Rating might change depends on how the story develops. So far it is nice. Though some chapters duplicate with different chapter title. Don't know whether other readers realize the same - which make reading experience distort a bit. Will nevertheless keep reading.
I just can't connect with all the characters and super pissed with the Male Lead. Also, the writting is nuggking here and there. Sobyeah, it may be good reading for some but not for me.
