Huang Family's White Van — en route to The Capital's Airport

Senator Travis, Auntie Lala, and the twins Jenna and Janna remained in perfect silent harmony for the rest of their trip.

The untouched forestry that served as a backdrop en route to the capital's airport was perfect to keep Auntie Lala's imagination from running wild. It ultimately kept her thoughts busy and her mouth tightly shut. They were near the capital's airport but the upbeat personality of Auntie Lala broke free from its chains.

"Why do they have to put the airport on the far end of the Capital, darling?" Her head rested on the senator's chest. She could hear the slow rhythm of his heartbeat and the deep breath he took to answer her random question.

"The lobbyists," he answered briefly. He made up his mind years ago before he entered politics that there would be a clear line between his job and his family. Their private affairs are messy enough in the first place. He was lucky to be married to such a skillful woman who took the handling of their household in her own hands.

Auntie Lala did not dare pressed on. She knew how complicated those lobbyists were. She glanced at her twins and a hint of anxiety could be seen in her eyes as she wondered who among her daughters would follow the footsteps of their father. She secretly hoped that none of them would but seeing the faces of her daughters alone would always remind her of how strong her husband's genes were.

She glanced at her perfect husband and scrutinized his facial expressions. "Don't look at me like that," she accused him.

"What? Like what?"

"Like I am under cross-examination. You should be the one under interrogation, Senator Travis Huang," Auntie Lala responded, her hand crept under her shawl that covered her husband's pants, "Omo! Look what I have found. The physical evidence of last night's incursion. Hahahaha!"

Senator Travis squeezed his wife's thigh but it only excited her more. She giggled like a fool over her husband's tomato-red face.

"Oh my goodness, Mother. Please don't do that with your children around," Jenna reprimanded her mother — her back against them. She fought the urge to look back and see her parents' concupiscent position. Sometimes, she didn't know what her mother's true mental age was.

"You are so tactless, Jenna! Nobody would marry you. Darling! Darling! Defend me from this ungrateful child of yours!" Auntie Lala wailed like a spoiled princess.

"Apologize to your mother, Jenna."

Jenna fought back, she would not let her mother's childish behavior win their petty argument and so she said, "Omo! What would people say once they find out that the great Senator Travis is a henpecked husband?"

Senator Travis cleared his throat. His daughter was right but he was cowardly against his wife's true power.

"Apologize to my darling or face the consequences of your disobedience," he commanded one last time.

"Really, dad?" Jenna huffed, she took off her seatbelt and knelt on the chair, her bottom kissed her heels then she said, "Please accept your humble servant's apology, Madam Lala of the Huang Household." Jenna's hand extended towards her mother, on top of her upright palm was her credit card.

Jenna knew the meaning of her father's words. And once the senator had said it, it should be done. There is no matter of recourse other than for her to accept defeat.

"Omo omo omo look at this pitiful girl," Auntie Lala patted her daughter's cheeks, "Apology accepted my faithful servant. AHAHAHAHA!" She covered her mouth as she laughed in exaggeration over her little triumph.

"Go buckle up, the car is moving, sweetie," Uncle Travis instructed to his now morose and silent daughter.

But the bully in his wife was not yet satisfied with her victory; she leaned closer to him and said sweetly — her finger hooked Uncle Travis' chin to her direction, "You don't have to use force next time, darling." Auntie Lala peppered her husband's face with smacking kisses which earned her another tight squeeze on her thigh.

His cunning little bunny was truly a fox in disguise. A perfect example of 'a fox exploits a tiger's might'. The gears in Uncle Travis's mind started to churn as he crafted an elaborate hanky-panky session — his form of punishment for his wife's deviousness.

The white van finally came to a halt. The security detail alighted from the passenger seat and slid open the door for the backseat passengers.

They walked towards a hangar located on the left side of the airport.

The Huang Family was welcomed by the pilot and the cabin crew that would accompany the ladies on their trip.

Senator Travis did not linger in the place and left once his ladies were ushered inside the hangar by the welcoming crew.

Auntie Lala and the twins Jenna and Janna waved happily to the only man in their lives - Senator Travis.

He waved back happily to his girls too but deep inside he was crying. He could see dollar bills fall with every wave of their arms.

He exhaled before he took one last glance towards the hanger only to shake his head when he found his girls were already nowhere in sight. He immediately climbed in the van and closed his eyes to steal a nap.

...

The Capital's Senate

Senator Travis woke up from his power nap, ready to face yet another day at the madhouse. The white van was eerily quiet on its way to the Senate. The driver and security detail at the front would look at the rearview mirror from time to time. The loving and playful Senator Travis from awhile ago was gone and had switched to his alter ego.

The two minions looked at each other with meaningful gazes: Why do men in power have double identities? Isn't that tiring?

The white van smoothly arrived at the senate. The flashing lights blinded the driver as it pushed through the sea of reporters.

"What's going on?" Senator Travis's eyebrows were furrowed, his lips pursed into a thin line. 'This place is not a madhouse. It is a circus!'

The van pulled over at the back door of a building. The loud noise from the reporters roared like a thunderstorm in an open sea - it could be heard from their location. Senator Travis alighted the van but was welcomed by his assistant's grim expression.

"Senator, there has been an accident in the Olympic Village Harbor."
