Malevolent Side

With every motion of the wave, the bioluminescent algae would glow, casting a faint light on the entwined figures kissing under the moonlight.

Jenny grinned from ear to ear, and the tiny stream of tears on her face glistened. Lucas wiped it off with his thumb; however, the tears won't cease from falling. She chuckled as she sniffled her happy tears and said, "Say that again."

"I love you, Jenny Huang."

"Loudeeeer!"

"Nope."

"No?" she peppered his face with kisses making him squint. "Jenny, stop. That's annoying," he said in his signature monotonous voice, yet his gummy smile gave away how he loved the warmness of her affection.

"Still a no?" Jenny bit his neck, but he still shook his head. She started to get annoyed by his lack of cooperation that she wiggled like a stubborn brat asking for her candy under his tight embrace until she got bothered by something.

"Lucas, ouch. Wait," she pushed herself off him, making him frown, displeasure written all over his face by her sudden show of disinterest. Jenny ran back to the shore and left him clueless and alone amongst the green glow of fireflies in the sea.

"Hurry up, baaaabe! There's a jellyfish! It poked meeee!" Jenny uncharacteristically screamed. The hairs all over her body raised at the thought of an unknown creature touching her skin.

He guffawed when he heard her cries and ambled to the shore after he noticed that she shivered at her spot when the wind blew past.

Jenny gulped nothing. And she swallowed a chunk of air one more time. Her eyesight trailed down as Lucas surfaced from the water. He's just an average guy with no six-pack, but why does he turn her on?

"Omoooo.. It was you?" Jenny's mouth hung low, and her cheeks blushed like a champagne pink sweet pea during spring when her gaze landed somewhere forbidden.

Just below his navel, something gifted screamed inside his brief, and the drooling girl did not shy away with her true feelings as she could not take off her eyes from that specific place. He didn't feel self-conscious about showing off, too, after he saw how mesmerized his bewitching fairy was by his gift.

Jenny reached for her panty, covered it with her hands, then asked, "How did that fit in there?" Another thought came into mind, and she nervously blurted out, "Is that… is that going to fit inside…me?"

Lucas cried tears of laughter as he kneeled to pick up their clothes. He covered the shaking fairy first before working on his. He shook the sand in their shoes and helped her put on hers.

"You won't be thinking about silly things when you're in the heat of the moment," Lucas said as he held out a hand, signaling for her to intertwine hers with his as they walk back to the pickup truck.

The night was deepening, and the water was getting colder. It was time for them to go home. He wasn't prepared to take a dip tonight, therefore, he just used the extra good morning towel from the center console of his pickup truck to pat dry Jenny's back, and Jenny returned the favor too.

While Lucas busied himself drying Jenny's face and arms, the girl was lost in thought. They said you would bleed on your first time? Do they need to make a stitch on mine then? Omo. My mom's gonna find out if that happens.

Alas, a eureka moment for Jenny happened. She clapped her hands, then tapped the guy's shoulder and said, "Lucas… let's have sex after we get married, okay?"

Lucas chuckled at her words and shuffled his bewitching fairy's hair. She smiled back at him and gave him a peck on the cheek before buckling in her seat.

...

Huang Household

Jenny fell asleep on the ride back to Capitol Hills. Lucas tried to wake her up, but the girl slept like a log, so he carried her inside the mansion towards her bedroom on the second floor with Aunt Mari trailing behind them.

Once they got inside, he gingerly placed his fairy on her princess bed and instructed Aunt Mari to give the girl a warm towel bath.

He was halfway out the door when he halted his steps and turned around, "Aunt Mari, I will drive her to school tomorrow."

"Understood, Young Master Lucas."

He left before Aunt Mari could even bow. She has never seen Young Master Lucas ooze with so much authority that his presence could be felt ten feet away. She smiled at the thought of a younger version of the man, who blended in the background every time he was around.

But Aunt Mari's proud momma moment was cut short when she saw his retreating back. She witnessed them all grow up, and no matter how much they hide what they feel, she could feel it even behind their layered masks.

The young master's placid back definitely felt like the calm before the storm, but the old maid shook her head free from all the baseless worries she cooked up in her mind.

Aunt Mari moved her attention at the sleeping beauty on the bed, who had a smile on her face — contented and tranquil. She must have had a good day, Aunt Mari thought to herself. She fixed the loose strands of hair on Jenny's face, tucking it behind the sleeping beauty's ear and started giving her a warm towel bath.

Afterward, she tiptoed out of Jenny's room, empty basin and towel in hand, startled to see Lucas in the living room in what seemed to be a standoff with Yiu Lala. She outright hid behind a pillar and eavesdropped on their conversation.

Lucas sneered at Yiu Lala's words, which Aunt Mari failed to hear. She peeped and saw Lucas step forward from the Gucci print wallpaper, revealing his malevolent side to his attacker. His dark energy permeating on Yiu Lala's line of defense, pulling her closer to him like a death eater seeking to purify her soul.

"Aren't you tired of sitting in your throne and let others do the dirty job for you?" he moved closer and whispered to her ears, "I'm not scared of you, mother-in-law." Lucas followed his words with a maniac laugh that made Aunt Mari shudder in her hiding spot. The imperious Yiu Lala, not spared, as she too, stunned and frozen in her place.

"Omo! I just need a location, Lucas!" Yiu Lala's haughty behavior faltered, unable to match with the man that she used to call as a poor young fellow. She didn't want to pick up a fight and turn the Capital upside down. What she wanted was to get rid of the dirt that got caught on her tracks.

"Haven't you spoken with Uncle yet? He got an update from the..." he wasn't able to finish his sentence when the main door opened.

Yiu Lala stepped back and held onto the table for her balance. She glanced at the clock by the left side of the door. She was out all day, shopping and playing mahjong with her friends that she did not bother looking into her husband's movements. She balled her hands into fists until her knuckles turned white, and it did not go unnoticed by the sensitive Lucas.

"Don't let me catch you on your hunt. Goodnight, Auntie."
