Two Friends Part 2

At the radiant bottom lane, an unusual lane matchup is happening. Carl, the Invoker controlled by is laning alone against Mortred, the Phantom Assassin that was controlled by and Dazzle, the Shadow Priest controlled by <2moves>.

A common one versus two scenarios between the safelane hero and the hard support against the offlaner, but this time there is something different.

Carl, the Invoker could hold his own against two heroes and not be bullied. No, in actuality he is winning the lane.

'This is bad…'

'Arthur Chua's mechanical skill should be at least top three in the whole worl…'

'No, it might be number one in the whole world!'

Damian Cheng thought as he looked at Carl, the Invoker getting more and more gold.

'Damn it, how did Azel found this guy to join SEA Hope… Forget it, no matter what I must win.'

With that notion in mind, Damian Cheng started ordering Dan Purba his carry to leave the lane and stack the camps just like how he once ordered Tan Jia Guang to do the same before.

: You are the boss, but if you lose the lane don't blame me.

<2moves>: With you experience, you already knew we lost the lane :D

Dan Purba chuckled as he turned to look at Damian Cheng who was focus on the game. 'His game awareness is off the charts, he could be considered a rare talent. What a waste that he doesn't want to join us' Dan Purba thought to himself.

After the death of the last dire creep, a golden light shone down onto Dazzle, the Shadow Priest. Damian Cheng leveled up a spell and had Dazzle, the Shadow Priest cast Shadow Wave.

"Zizzap!"

Other than being damaged, there seems to be a broken grey shield floating above Carl, the Invoker's head.

Bad Juju. The ultimate skill of Dazzle, the Shadow Priest.

More and more skills are being thrown onto Carl, the Invoker causing his armor to fall lower and lower.

From the trees, a watermelon like creature is sneaking around. His red eyes glared as he looked at his prey.

"Think of it as caviar."

Said Leviathan, the Tidehunter as he lumbered out from the woods and used Gush onto Carl, the Invoker.

On top of the armor reduction debuff, Carl, the Invoker now also has a slow debuff.

Five taps come from Arthur Chua's fingers as Carl, the Invoker disappeared from their sight.

Bayani Reyes did not fluster instead she had Leviathan, the Tidehunter cast his third skill…

Anchor Smash!

"You feed the crabs now."

With that Carl, the Invoker died giving bottom lane a chance to breathe, but Azel Mampusti knew he cannot let Mortred, the Phantom Assassin get farm.

Chen, the Holy Knight controlled by Azel Mampusti, Kaolin, the Earth Spirit controlled by Urho Koskela and Lina, the Slayer teleported to the bottom lane of Dire to stop the radiant push.

What they saw was Dazzle, the Shadow Priest standing there drinking a Clarity and Mirana, the Princess of the Moon who is controlled by <8-8> standing there without a care in the world.

'Where is tidehunter?!'

: Spread out

Hearing their captain's command, SEA Hope members started to walk away from each other.

Seeing this Damian Cheng smiled as Mortred, the Phantom Assassin used Phantom Strike onto Lina, the Slayer.

Blood splattered from Lina, the Slayer's body as Coup de Grace proc.

Kaolin, the Earth Spirit and Chen, the Holy Knight flustered as they raced to save their midlaner, but tentacles erupted from the fog of war as they all flew high into the air.

A wave of meteors falls from the sky as Mirana, the Princess of the Moon uses Starstorm as she leaps into the fight.

"As expected from the player who Team Shocker and Team YMV wanted to recruit, that timing is perfect to catch us off guard."

Tan Jia Guang's and Damian Cheng's ears perked up as they heard that Bayani Reyes is wanted by professional teams too.

All three heroes from the Dire that came had died, yet there are also heroes from the Radiant that are stuck there.

: I'm going to push mid.

<2moves>: I'm going to tp to mid and defend, the rest of you come when I call.

A familiar scene played out in front of their eyes.

The first match between both of them, the 1v1 match that started all of this.

Dazzle, the Shadow Priest stood on the high ground of the Radiant side while Huskar, the Sacred Warrior stood on the Dire side.

Damian Cheng and Tan Jia Guang took of their headsets without saying a word to each other because they already know what is about to happen.

In their minds all those scenes on the day they made their first bet popped out, followed by all their adventures with each other.

Tan Jia Guang who was shouting during the school assembly and Damian Cheng accepting the challenge.

Their first time playing DotA2 together at the cybercafé as Dazzle and Huskar.

Playing their first match as a two stack after school.

Meeting Bayani Reyes for the first time.

The outing with John Ng.

Every click of the mouse, every tap of the keyboard.

Every hero picked, every hero killed.

All of it led to this…

The final 1v1 against each other.
