Bread For My Family

"We're already going to do the countdown?" Belen takes a quick glance at the hall, looking for a specific person who has yet to return from the bathroom, "and Everest? I don't see him."


"I'll find him, but just in case we don't make it in time, you should do the countdown."


"Me? But it's usually the host!" she stares at him, surprised.


Noah isn't in the mood to soothe her and instead clicks his tongue, annoyed that he has to find Everest. And inwardly thinks, "where is that idiot!?" So Noah rushes out of the hall in a huff.


But just as he turned right, Noah's eyes widened, bewildered to see Everest walking like a zombie, his head staring at the ground like a lost drunkard. So naturally, he doesn't care what happened to him, and instead of asking for an explanation, Noah merely yells, "EVEREST FOX!" 


Everest trembles at the sound of his name and immediately looks up to see Noah's angry face, marching to him until they both overhear A STAR countdown.
