Rain And Then Storm

"Um…mmm," Everest wakes up curled in a fetal position in the corner of the bedside, "my body feels sore," he carefully glances at the bed to see Belen is still sleeping on the other side of the bed.

"Man," he quietly stretches, "it's raining?" he curiously peeks his head out into the balcony, "no wonder it's cold. I should turn on the heater." Everest rushes downstairs to adjust the house temperature, "good thing I fell asleep with my jacket on, man, my shoulders are sore," he carefully rubs them.

On his way to Belen's bedroom, he can't help but suspect, "has she been asleep this whole time? It's about to be 12 soon…Ack! A STAR!!" He hurriedly takes out his phone to dial Noah but recalling what the doctor said made Everest realize that Noah might be with his parents since he didn't return with Belen.
