"What is happening…" Still bound in place, Tomura had trouble speaking as he looked towards Midoriya. "You can have All Might's quirk and you can have the number one hero title. Because neither of them is going to save you from what I'm about to do." Staring Bakugo in the eyes Midoriya for the first time since they had fought smiled at him.
"I hope the pain you're about to experience was worth being number one for a day. Kurohitsugi..." Looking at Midoriya deadpanned a black box began to form over the three of them along with the surrounding area. On the Hado's completion, a strong wind erupted outwards sweeping over the walls and the surrounding area in construction. Despite them being made of Reishi they cracked and some even shattered.
It was only after a full minute that the black box disappeared revealing a completely flattened plot of land with Midoriya standing in the middle. There was no sign of Bakugo or Tomura left within the area and it seemed the battle had never even happened. Breathing irregularly Midoriya closed his eyes as he tried to steady both himself and his spirit. 'I used a bit too much of the energy Lord Shen gave me…'
Coming out of his thoughts, Midoriya was preparing to leave the area before he stopped himself. Appearing in front of him only a ways away Shen was walking up to him. "Oh, your back already?" Running up to him, Midoriya gave no impressions of having fought at all. Cracking his neck Shen looked around. "Yes did anything important happen while I was away?"
Midoriya acted as if he was thinking for a moment before shaking his head. "Minor things, nothing you should worry about." Hearing that Shen glanced back at the large patch of flattened land before continuing to walk alongside Midoriya. "So when are you leaving exactly?" Looking up at Shen they made their way inside the front doors of the large structure.
Despite still being in construction the base's main area was almost done. "I plan on leaving soon, but I actually need your assistance with something. Though first I wanted to give you a gift or two to be precise. I'm sure you know this already, but there is a very big time displacement when it comes to different universes. I may be gone for a minute or maybe years but I need you to run things smoothly while I'm away."
Midoriya nodded with all seriousness while still wondering what Shen meant by a gift.
It was at that moment that Shen stopped walking down, finding both of them in a long hall. Holding out his hands to the right of him, Midoriya's eyes witnessed a mysterious glow as something appeared in Shen's hands. The sound of chains echoed in the hall as two blades hanging on the end of these chains fell close to the ground.
"Is… Did you make those?" Looking up at Shen and then the blades, Midoriya was rightfully surprised. Despite being able to create structures with Reishi, it was different from creating something from nothing. After all, creation goes against the laws of physics, everything has to come from something.
Seeing his confusion Shen simply gave him a wry smile. "In away. These blades are special, they were forged in what you and others would call Hell." Looking at them shine in the light even Shen would guess that they would have the ability to cut straight through his Haki. "In all manners of speaking, The Blades of Chaos have been dipped in the blood of gods many times over."
Acting nonchalant, Shen held the blades out to Midoriya. Immediately Midoroya's eyes widened as he took a step back. "But there are no gods in this world, right? I mean if they are so special you should use them yourself Lord Shen I can make due." The fact these weapons were used to kill gods caused Midroiya to become more aware.
If Shen had to fight beings like that in the future he should take The Blades of Chaos. Seeing his reluctance, Shen spoke in a relaxed manner. "Relax, despite how great they sound there is only one weapon I'm interested in welding." With that being said, Shen wouldn't have given Midoriya The Blades of Chaos if he had actually needed them.
Listening to Shen, Midoriya looked back at the blades and nodded. At that moment Shen activated two abilities in conjunction with one another. The chains of the blades began wrapping around Midoriya's arm while also turning a bright orange due to their heat. "AGH." Never feeling so much pain before Midoriya almost fell to the floor as the blades attached themselves to his flesh.
"There." Seeing the process was done, Shen turned around and began to walk away. "When you're ready, come with me and we'll see just how effective those weapons are." Waving his finger to Midoriya, it didn't take long for him to catch up to Shen. Gathering up over sixty dozen void warriors as they walked Shen began to take them into Musutafu City.
Seeing this Midoriya looked at Shen confused. "Why are we in the city?" As they walked through the streets the fear appearing on everyone's faces was adamant. The combination of Shen along with the warriors surrounding him made them think he was here to destroy them on a whim. "Why is that guy here…"
"Damit I thought he had left." "Why did he have to build near our city of all places…" Whispering among themselves while being careful to avoid Shen's gaze, Shen clearly didn't care about what they were saying but it was different for Midoriya. Though he was still technically a teenager one glance and everyone could feel a chill go down their necks. "Ignore them, they won't be keeping the same attitude for much longer."
Hearing him, Midoriya tilted his head to the side, withdrawing his gaze. "What do you mean?" At that time they had almost reached the very center of Musutafu which also happened to be the most populated. Though Shen's existence was a looming threat to everyone, humans adapt very quickly.
They were not in poverty and they still had access to technology so as long as they ignored Shen existed, and did not rebel they could live like always.
But it was when the danger revealed itself in front of them they began to panic. "They have all seen me kill hundreds of heroes and villains alike and destroy cities. But despite that some of them still rebel, do you know why?" Hearing Shen asks him this question Midoriya could only shake his head.
Taking another step the void warriors around Shen began to spread out forming a wall between the citizens and them. Immediately after, Shen began creating a structure using his Mangekyou Sharingan. On each side of the structure, a set of stairs appeared leading to a flat plateau. Walking up to this structure Shen turned back and spoke.
"It's because I didn't make it personal enough." Pulling the same device he used last time to broadcast his battle with the heroes and villains Shen activated it once again. A familiar scene around the country occurred causing everyone to feel their hearts sink.
"Not again…"
"What is it this time!"
Some reacted with fear and cowardice while others reacted with anger and hate. Seeing the image of Shen standing on top of that platform, some people seemed confused about what he was doing. However, Shen didn't explain and instead only showed his intent through his actions. Tapping his foot against the pure black structure's surface, they saw two figures slowly begin to rise out of it.
These two figures had their arms and legs bound to the structure. Along with that, they had their mouths bound as one of them seemed to avert his head due to the sun's light. "Wait isn't that…" One citizen who had more courage than the others stood closer to the platform just out of the reach of the void warriors surrounding it.
Taking a closer look at the two of them he recognized them instantly.
"That's All Might! And the guy who was with him leading the villains!" With the device picking up his voice along with the citizens standing behind him they recognized the two of them soon as well.
"But I thought they were dead?"
"He's been keeping them alive this entire time?"
"But why…"
They all had different questions and Shen was the one who finally spoke. "As some of you might know two people tried to rebel earlier this morning. Destroying multiple of my warriors on the way they tried to challenge me but were met by my representative instead."
Hearing the word representative it was clear the citizens did not know as much as the officials when it came to how Shen was ruling.
Turning his gaze to Midoriya who was standing behind him, Shen ushered him forward. "The two of them happened to be their successors. But now they're dead and their masters will soon follow suit."
Midoriya stepped forward as Shen told him to do something. "Time to put those new weapons to work Midoriya." Midoriya froze as he looked up at Shen.
Elsewhere in a small apartment room sitting on the couch. A woman with a rounded figure and green hair similar to Midoriya's seemed to spring to life. This woman was Midoriya's mother. Her son had been missing for weeks on end and with Shen being around the police and other emergency services couldn't be bothered to try and find a missing boy.
She had gone into a less than ideal state of mind since then, thinking the worst had happened to him. However, hearing Shen mention this so-called representative's name along with seeing his hair made her feel relieved. Though that relief would be met and replaced with dread.
Back on the platform, Midoriya was looking at All Might and All For One from the back seemingly contemplating. He managed to kill Bakugo and by extension Tomura out of pure anger and frustration but now he had to do it again. Seeing his hesitation Shen decided to put the final nail in the coffin. "Kill them now." Hearing Shen's order, Midoriya took a deep breath.
The sound of gasping along with All Might's muffled yelling was soon overtaken by the sound of chains moving. Waving The Blades of Chaos around, the two blades flew towards their backs. The blood splattered onto the platform turning it crimson as All Might's muffled screams died down until they finally stopped.
Soon blood splattered across Midoriya's body as the chains retracted, bringing the blades back to his hands. Seeing his desired result Shen stepped forward and looked at the crowd. Though he didn't say anything, his eyes spoke everything they needed to hear.
'I hope that helps quiet down any thoughts you all had about rebelling.' Just like that the broadcast ended and left both the people who were there personally and watching stuck in a state of disbelief and terror.
Looking at All For One and All Might who were still just barely alive he ignited his hands with a dark orange flame. With a simple hand gesture, the flames quickly devoured their half-dead corpses killing them almost instantly and leaving no mess behind on the platform as it sunk back into the ground. While the crowd remained Shen and Midoriya soon left the area along with the void warriors.
