Haru felt nauseous when a harrowing whiff of rotten rats with a bit of sickening sweetness and burnt flesh assaulted her nostrils. The odor was so powerful that she could almost taste it, making her retch from the putrid smell.

Soon, a huge magic circle appeared on the snowy ground and from within it, numerous corpses crawled out. Their bodies were blackened while the muscle tissues were exposed. Maggots, flies and black goo were slowly coming out from all holes on their head, as well as on their decaying flesh.

"My gods! What is going on here? Why are we being attacked all of a sudden?" She breathed out while her eyes seemed to bulge out from her sockets.

Zen swiftly turned around to face her and wrote a magic spell in the air. Then, her body let out a lustrous light, signaling a protective barrier was now in motion. "Sister-in-law, for your safety just stay here. Aqua and I will take care of those corpses."
