Seeking a Camellia

Long ago in the land of Makurazaki, Japan…

A shogun named Minato no Sano, who was quite versed in military tactics decided to increase his military division by adding a new addition to it. Using his powerful influence, he summoned the skills of a sorcerer from a faraway land to come to his aid.

An English sorcerer named Fabian Pendragon came to the land of Japan on the request of the shogun, in order to create this new division under the study of magic. Given a high military ranking and influence over the military division, the sorcerer set out to teach individuals about the study and use of magic.

With the division underway, the shogun focused on other aspects of his life, specifically his love life. Harboring no affection for his current wives and concubines, the shogun sort to seek someone even more beautiful and younger than his last wife.

Acquiring a young and beautiful maiden would send a powerful message about his ability of conquest.

So he sent out a scouting party to visit the nearby lands and to find out who had potential to be his new wife or concubine. It had to be someone very pleasing to the eyes so that his enemies would be jealous of whom he has acquired.
