Blue sky as far as the eye can see. Wide open green grassy land in all directions. Welcome to Laynesa home to of celestial beings. The land where dreams can come true but also a place full of danger. This is the world I was born into and the world I was entrusted to protect by the gods. I am the goddess of protection, Moorela, and I want to tell you the story of a great hero.
On a windy night in the city of Pensiona, in a small and windowless room a baby girl is born. Screaming and wailing the newborn baby lets out her displeasure of entering the world as she is being cleaned and wrapped in a blue blanket with little yellow stars by the mid wife. Staring down at the tiny little bundle, makes the midwife think the baby is such a demanding little thing you are already. Shaking her head, she hands the precious little bundle to one of the other ladies in the room to take over to the brand-new mother. Watching as the baby comes over, Allenia thinks how I can be ready for this moment and that I want this moment to last forever. As she takes possession of her brand-new daughter for the first time. She lets the tears start to fall down her face hitting the blanket as she takes her first peak at her baby. Such a beautiful and wonderous miracle she is. The mistress will look fondly on this good fortune. Looking up at the midwife, Allenia tells her I want to name her Aspasia, meaning welcome, welcome to the world my beautiful baby. Suddenly a knock at the door makes Allenia start to cry harder. For she knows that the mistress is here. Here for the baby she holds in her hands, her baby. One of the ladies goes over to the door and opens it up. Seeing the mistress entering the room. Knowing that the time she has with her daughter is almost over.
The mistress looks over to the midwife and she nods her head. It's a baby girl, perfect for the future of her house. Wanting to see this new addition to her house, she walks over to the new mother and snatchs the baby from her arms. Crying the mother tries to get her baby back but one of the other women grabs a hold of her and stops her from interfering. The mistress begins checking the infant over making sure that there is nothing wrong with the infant. After the inspection the mistress looks to the midwife nodding her head in approval. Getting the go ahead from the women, the mistress walks out the dingy door with the baby. Leaving a hysterical mother behind as she realises what is happening. That the mistress Is leaving That she is losing her baby and never going to see her again.
Looking at the baby the, mistress says, come now my little one it is time for you to go to your new home. Opening up the door at he bottoms of the stairs, the mistress sees the carriage waiting for her. Walking forward and never looking back to the loud wailing in the house, she tells the driver to get a move on. The carriage drives off into the night, going someplace else in the district to another house, another sentinel house.
