Wrong Number

Song Yun dressed up, grabbed her bag and quickly returned.

They were about to head out when Yan Shu's phone started to ring. Who could it be? She had no friends other than Song Yun.

She took her phone from the bag and glanced at the screen. It displayed an unknown number. She considered for a moment and decided to pick the call. "Hello?" There was no reply. She was about to speak again when the caller hung up. 'Probably a wrong number,' she thought and put it out of her mind.

"Yanyan, let's go. I'm hungry," Song Yun urged her on.

"You're always coming home late, so it's rare for us to go out together. Let's take this chance to drink and celebrate.

"We're not going out to drink. Be a good girl and behave, ok?"Is this how you compensate me? If we're not drinking, then we might as well stay home." Song Yun tossed her purse on the table and sat on the couch with a pout on her lips

."What if we drink too much and someone takes advantage of us?" Yan Shu tried to convince her friend

."That's not going to happen, you're just looking for an excuse fo us not to go. If we're not going to drink, then forget about it. We'll just stay here and starve because the fridge is empty."

Yan Shu sighed and finally gave in. "Fine Yunyun, you win. We'll drink."Song Yun sprung up, grabbed her purse and pulled Yan Shu to the door. But Yan Shu didn't budge.

She said, "We'll go, but only on two conditions."Song Yun sighed.

"What conditions?"

"First, we'll only drink after eating."

"Agreed."

"Second, we'll control ourselves. We aren't fishes."

"Fine," Song Yun said resignedly.

They left the apartment and once again, Yan Shu's phone rang. It was the same unknown number that had just called.

She picked the call. "Hello." Just as before, there was no answer. This angered her. "Damn it, who is this? Why do you keep calling me?"The silence persisted?

She was about to hang up when a faint, husky voice spoke, "Sorry, wrong number," and hung up. The voice was from a man, but she had no idea who it was.

"Who was that?" Song Yun asked.

Yan Shu shrugged. "Wrong number."

They left the building and were waiting for the taxi when Yan Shu spoke, "Yunyun, we'll go shopping another day, ok?"

"What? Why?" Asked an indignant Song Yun.

"I don't want to stay outside for too long, so you can choose. Either shopping or drinking."

"You are a bully. A big bully!"

"If you don't choose then we'll go back."

Song Yun groaned. "Fine, drinking."

"Alright then."

The taxi arrived and they both hopped in.
