Expelled

Morning classes went on as usual. Song Yun, Yan Shu, and their Crazy Batch headed to the canteen for lunch. After eating, they ordered some more food before heading to the infirmary.

Han Shuya continued to rest while Ye Yuyan kept her company. Besides bringing food for the two, the group also asked Han Shuya how she was doing. They couldn't stay for long and chat, as afternoon classes were about to start, so they soon left. Ho Joon Jae also passed by to check on Han Shuya before similarly heading off to class.

After everyone left, the two dug into the food that Yan Shu brought.

"Yan Shu really is a nice person," Han Shuya commented in between bites. "It was really stupid of me to hold a grudge against her."

"It's all in the past now, just forget about it"

Han Shuya nodded and continued eating. She felt very touched that Yan Shu and the others came to visit her, and even cared enough to bring her lunch.

When they were done eating, Ye Yuyan took care of the plates so that Han Shuya wouldn't have to get up from the bed.

Han Shuya already felt better by evening, although her cheek remained somewhat swollen.

Yan Shu and her group once again popped by, this time to walk Han Shuya to her home. Well, not really home, but to the university's entrance, as the Han family sent a car and a chauffeur to pick her up every day. On the way, they "coincidentally" bumped into Ho Joon Jae, who also insisted on accompanying them.

Just as they were about to reach the gates, Song Yun gasped. "Oh my god, look at this," she said before showing her phone. Playing on it was a video from the morning incident, recently uploaded to the college forum.

Han Shuya caught herself worrying about what would happen to Xia Heru when the video reached the dean's office. Wait, worrying? Han Shuya banished that thought. Whatever happened to Xia Heru, it would be well deserved.

Ye Yuyan followed Han Shuya into the car and they were soon being driven to Han Shuya's home.

At home, Mrs. Han went to welcome them as usual but was startled by her daughter's appearance. "Ya'er, what happened to you? Did you get into a fight?"

"I'll tell you later Mom, right now I'm too tired. Please accompany Yuyan while I take a shower."

Still worried, Mrs. Han waited until her daughter had left before questioning Ye Yuyan. "What happened?" she asked.

"I'll tell you, but you can't let Han Shuya know that I did it. She made me promise not to. If she asks, then say that someone from college told you."

"I'll keep it a secret, you can trust me."

"Okay," Ye Yuyan said before showing her the video on her phone.

Mrs. Han frown turned into a scowl as she watched. This was as far as she allowed her emotions to show through. "What's her name?" she asked as soon as the video ended.

"Xia Heru." Ye Yuyan hid nothing. She told everything, from how Xia Heru manipulated Han Shuya to hate Yan Shu, to Ho Joon Jae's rejection, to the incident in the canteen. She also made sure to paint Yan Shu in the best light possible.

Mrs. Han nodded. "Thank you for telling me, I'll take care of it."

When Han Shuya returned from the shower, her mother ordered the servants to bring some snacks for them.

Ye Yuyan thanked her but decided not to linger and took her leave. Mrs. Han made sure to send a chauffeur to drive her home.

The next morning, everyone headed to class as usual, Han Shuya included. Her face had healed a lot and, with help from some makeup, it looked just as normal.

Just as they were paying attention to class, an announcement sounded through the college's speakers. "Attention. From this day forward, the student Xia Heru is hereby expelled from Fengshan and prohibited from ever enrolling again. I repeat, the student..."

The student's commotion drowned out the announcer's voice.
