Good job

The dean heaved a sigh of relief as soon as Mrs. Han left. He wasn't sure if he could survive another encounter like that. He didn't manage to relax for long though, as his phone soon started ringing. The screen displayed the same number he called at Mrs. Han's orders. He picked it up. "Mr. Xia?"

"Prepare my daughter's papers for her new university," he didn't ask so much as he ordered it. It seemed that Mr. Xia only showed his true colors when talking to those weaker than himself.

"Certainly. And I hope you understand that, after what happened, I have no choice but to expel her."

"As if I didn't know that. Just do what I told you."

The dean didn't even get to respond as the other side hung up.

Xia Heru arrived home; not the college's dormitory, but her actual home where her family lived. After enrolling into Fengshan university, she chose to move out, both due to the dormitory being closer to college grounds and also to better focus on her studies.

This, of course, made it harder for her to see her parents. His father already had barely any time for her when they lived together. Now, she couldn't remember the last time they met. So when he called and asked her to come home, she was all too happy to ditch her tiresome teacher's class.

She crossed the doorway into the foyer where she found her parents waiting for her. She meant to ask him what it was all about but, before she could speak, his open hand smacked into her face.

Not expecting the slap, Xia Heru lost her balance and fell to the floor. She was dumbfounded more than anything else. Why did her father hit her? Her confusion soon turned into distress and her eyes started tearing up.

Her mother didn't move in to help. Instead, the older woman just stood there and watched.

Her father was the first one to speak, his voice a mix of reproval and anger. "Didn't I tell you not to mess with Han Shuya? Not only you didn't listen to me, but you even assaulted her yesterday."

"It wasn't my fault," Xia Heru pleaded.

"All of it was your fault. Today, her mother personally threatened to bankrupt us because of what you did. She had mercy on the condition that you have to leave the country."

"No!" she bawled, tears flowing down her face. "Everything that I know is here. You can't do this to me." She clung to his leg still hoping to change his mind.

"It's already done." He forcefully pried her away. "I sent servants to pack everything from your dorm room. When they get here, choose what you'll want to take with you." With that, he turned and walked away, but not before telling his wife, "Make sure she doesn't try to run away."

An hour later, the Xia family arrived at the airport.

Mr. Xia rushed to prepare a place for his daughter at Country H, where she would live from now on. He would only pay for the housing and college fees; anything else, she would have to work for it.

He also made sure to take her phone and swap for one that could call his number only. Finally, a bodyguard would accompany Xia Heru to Country H, though her main obligation would be to keep an eye on his daughter.

With that, Xia Heru boarded the plane. She still didn't accept her situation and even tried to escape, but her new bodyguard didn't let her go very far. Still, the young woman fumed with anger.

Anger against Yan Shu for making Ho Joon Jae like her. Anger against Han Shuya's mother for making her leave the country. Xia Heru did nothing wrong, it was all their fault. She swore to one day come back and make them all pay.

Back at Fengshan university, the commotion still hadn't died down. After news of Xia Heru's expelling broke out, students began to dig in to find out the reason, which didn't take long to come to light: While still in high school, a girl who scored higher than Xia Heru on a test got beaten up and ended up dying from her injuries, and Xia Heru was the main suspect.

The news dropped like a bomb on Fengshan university. Everyone only talked about that.

Her three friends started being ostracized for being friends with a murderer.

The news eventually came to Mrs. Han's attention, who made sure to call the dean. "Good job," she told him. "Make sure this doesn't happen again."
