Sunshine parents died early when she was just 7 years old. At that time, she felt that there's no reason to continue her life in this world. Blessed enough, her grandmother stay with her side until she finally recovered on the painful tragedy she experienced. Her grandmother never gave up on her, until she grew up in a very cheerful, kind and loving woman. 

One day, her envious classmate revealed a secret. But it is her greatest secret that she doesn't want anyone to know. Because she thought that when the time it is expose everyone will turn their back on her.

Hugs of Acceptance

"What? How ... Did you asked aunt and uncle for their dedication?", Cindy wanted to laugh but kept it to herself.


"No! I... That time when I'm in my room busy writing on my detailed wedding I didn't notice mom and dad was already there watching me and reading what I'm doing. I'm caught offguard, no longer have an excuse for me to escape. Then suddenly I'm shock on what happened next. Dad just snatched my diary on the table then wrote something, after that she let mom to write on it also. When they finally gave it back to me I was surprise that the words they wrote are not for their dear daughter but for their future son-in-law." 


"The diary doesn't have your name right?", worried Cindy asked.


Sunshine shook her head, "But my parents had their signature on their dedication."


"Don't worry it's just their signature, will just hope that the diary is on the right hand." Cindy then patted her bestfriend back.


"Yes grandma?" Sunshine stood up and smiled.


"I missed you. Did you behave when your at Cindy's house?"


"I missed you too grandma. Of course! Grandma I'm no longer a kid." Sunshine said with a beaming smile.


"Looks like you bought another notebook for your diary."


"It's from big sis grandma. I lost my diary somewhere and she gave me this one. Speaking on my big sis grandma. Grandmaaaaaaaaaa!" Sunshine widen her eyes and smiled widely.


"What?", her grandma asked in curiosity.


"My Prince Charming do exist! He's real! After so many years of searching, finally I found him. Unfortunately my big sis doesn't want him for me. I don't no why but it seems he's nice." Sunshine's eyes twinkle brightly and excitement can seen on face as she said her piece.


"Hmm... Maybe you better know first or deeper that guy. Maybe Cindy has really a reason for saying such things for him. Wait! Since it's late already you better sleep now." 


Turn to the left... (after a couple of minutes) Turn to the right


Sunshine already gave up, she can't sleep. She grab her cellphone and click her facebook app. Ian Osmeña was the name she type on the search bar. When she already saw his profile she click it. She throughly scan every information. Then she saw "Status: Its Complicated".


"What? It's Complicated?" Sunshine's brow curve.


She click her google chrome app and began to search the meaning of "It's Complicated".


... Its the situation when you're "with" someone, but you're not with him or her in fully commited fashion ...


Sunshine went downstairs to get water on the kitchen. After she take her sip to quench her thirst she thought, "Maybe he has a girlfriend? Or someone he love?" Sunshine sighed and felt sad. Taking down the glass she decided to go to her grandma's room. She lay beside her and hug her too.


Sunshine simply nodded and asked, "Grandma can I sleep here?"


"Of course darling, no problem." Mrs. Cecilia kissed Sunshine forehead. She knew that there's something bothering her granddaughter but the young lady refused to tell.
