"Sylvia? Who are you? Are you an angel? Am I in Heaven? Is the Supreme Being's hideout in Heaven? Is this real?" said Jake.
"Whoa! Too many questions there, I am Sylvia, yes. I am the 'Mighty One,'" Sylvia said.
"What do you mean by that?"
"It's simple actually, since you're the Supreme Being and the kind of like the second in command in the Divine Clan which is insane considering the substantial amount of lives you took, I am the 'Mighty One' which is the second in command in the Chaos Clan. That's what I meant by you and I being neighbors."
"Chaos Clan? And I thought the Divine Clan was a big deal....is that so? My boss is God, so I'm guessing you're leader is the Devil?"
"Indeed! He spoke about the matter where you stole his most powerful arsenal."
"Hehehe...…you mean this?"
Jake reached the sword on the side of his waist and revealed it to Sylvia. It was shimmering blood red in color. Sylvia replied;
"He wants you to have it as a symbol of defeating him."
"Wait, defeating him...So let me guess, he isn't dead?"
"He is very much alive…he was resurrected on his throne once you killed him."
"So tell me what exactly our duties are?"
"Our duties? You mean yours? My duty is to drag all the evil souls to Hell. Your duty is to make sure no impure soul gets to Heaven."
"That is correct," Heather replied, "Master, you need to make sure that Heaven is filled with beings whose heart is pure."
"Regardless of the fact that I'm impure?" said Jake.
"Yes, God picked you….I don't know the reason but he chose you to take care of Heaven," said Sylvia.
"What does he do then?"
"He takes care all of us, above, middle or under…. It doesn't matter to him. No matter how cruel or unfair we are, he makes sure that we are not manifested by evil forces."
"What about the damned souls in Hell? Aren't they already manifested by evil forces?"
"No….those souls chose that path, as a result of their actions they must be punished or rewarded. Evil forces mean impure souls in Heaven."
"So there are damned souls in Heaven? How did you manage to screw up your own job?"
"It's not easy as it looks, Jake. Souls try to mask their wrong doings and try to step into Heaven."
"Aren't you supposed to see beyond that? I mean their true selves?"
"We cannot, the big guy didn't gift that power to us."
"One more question…..why are you being nice to me and answering all my questions? Isn't the Chaos Clan, I don't know, bad?"
Sylvia's cheeks were immediately flushed in pink color; she slowly turned her head and replied nervously;
"Well, the main objective for the Chaos Clan is to make sure all the damned souls never leave Hell and the main objective for the Divine Clan is to make sure Heaven remains pure. If you think about it, our goals are pretty much similar, our clans don't mean any harm in fact we are just trying to do our job. Besides, you and I must be on good terms."
"Oh? And why is that?"
"Because you and I are opposites, blue and red, if there was any conflict or flaw between us it could lead to us having an epic battle."
"Epic indeed, but it would be pretty short as I would kick your ass."
"Oh, are you sure about that?"
Jake and Sylvia's eyes were locked associated with a devious and smug grin. Their auras burst with power and resonated throughout. Jake's aura was blood red in color where as Sylvia's aura was rose pink in color. Heather was planted on the platform as she did not show any struggle due to their power. Jake remembered that he is now pure and forgiven from his past doings. He released all his power and said;
"I can't kill you now because I'm a goody-two-shoe now so, I'll let you off this time."
"Let me? Please, you wouldn't survive one moment with me if we were fighting."
"You believe what you want to believe."
Sylvia led out a sigh, opened her golden wings once more and flew below. Jake observed her and stared at her as she was flying; he thought to himself if that was Zoe or is this one of God's tricks. Heather was already accessed to Jake's thoughts; she looked at him in disappointment.
