Chapter 5

Title: Entering The Supernatural World

When I returned home, I couldn't help but think about my next move. I really won't be able to turn back, so I take in a deep breath to calm down my emotions. Today I am going to take a gamble, if this pays off, it would be so rewarding that it would make it worth the risk.

After that, I put on some black pants and a white T-shirt. I look at myself in the mirror and I can't help but think that I have been quite lucky during my last life, I always had to use my charisma and sweet words to get what I wanted. But with this face, I won't even have to try at 10% to get the same results. After all, one judges a person by their outside appearance when they first meet.

Then after finishing all of this I go towards the Kuoh Church, which is where Irina's Father works most of the time. Since I know him, I am quite confident in my plan that it will work.

When I arrive there I stay just outside the sensing barrier and use reinforcement on my eyes.

I see the priests training, unlike the common priests. They are all young and seem to have a strong physical body and notice two of them sparing against each other.

The fight was generally low leveled and weak, at least from my start, but they are still the only sparring and they don't seem to have Sacred Gears or anything of the like. 

I decide to intentionally trigger their barrier alarms to notice me, I don't have the skill to dodge a barrier like that. I am still a novice both as a magician and martial artist.

Sk as soon as I enter I see that all of the priests turn off their lightsabers and hide them on their clothes. Because when they see me all five of them put on friendly smiles and simultaneously say. """""How may we help you son."""""

As soon as I hear that, I fake a frightened expression and say to them in a scared voice. "U -Um… P -Priests -sama… I -I… THINK I MIGHT BE POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL."

As soon as I mention a devil their eyes immediately harden and they exchange secret glances between each other. But they still keep their smiles and one of them who seems like the leader and he has long black hair, he then silently takes the initiative and asks me with a friendly voice.

"Son… you can explain everything to us… there is no need to be afraid...by the way, my name is Masaomi Yaegaki…" Says the long-haired man.

I just look at him in the eyes and fake being nervous and start fidgeting a little and explain to them."S -Sure I will show you…"

I summon my sacred gear, two metal horns and a metal tail appear on me.

I see their eyes widen a little in what I can assume is a surprise. But the change was almost unnoticeable as they went back to having calm looks. I wonder if they were maybe surprised because of the young age I seem to be able to activate my Sacred Gear?

"Oh, that is a sacred gear." Says Masaomi reassuringly. Trying to keep me from being even more nervous.

I just look at the priests with a 'confused' look on my face and I ask them. "What is a sacred gear?"

When I ask them that they seem conflicted until one of them shrugs his shoulders and says. "If he could already do that he was going to get involved in it. There is no use in hiding it, better let him know now than have the 'other' leader of Kuoh get her evil claws into him."

Masaomi frowned a little when the insult about the  'other' evil leader of Kuoh was spoken. But his face returned back to normal and then he looked at me and said.

"Deactivate your sacred gear, sacred gears are the thing that you are using right now. Anyway come inside of the church and we will explain to you more about this world."

One hour later and I am given a general explanation about the Supernatural world. I pay full attention to it and nod every time he asks me if I understand it.

"And after the Devil Civil war there is no war going on amongst the three factions but the tensions between each other are very close to going on full-out war again…"

I just look at him… he has been explaining everything from the three factions and some different mythologies.

 I could only act like a kid in shock and kept asking about everything else, though he did say that the chance of war was unlikely to happen since the Havens Faction who has GOD will win.

If only he knew… 

Then after that Masaomi asks me questions about where I go to school and if I ever need help with homework I should come to him. He apparently used to help the children back in the Vatican with their homework too.

Then as we are talking the church front door opens and someone I know comes in. I just smile and greet him. "Hi, mister Shidou."

As soon as Touji Shidou sees me he frowns. He then asks. "What are you doing here kid?"
