The warm gust of air touched her face as Syna stepped out of the restaurant, the strands were blown off by the air as the tear droplets flew past by.
Syna immediately averted her gaze when a strong grip held her by wrist, such a demanding force.
"Miss Syna, why are you leaving in a fit?"
"Uh-huh, I'm sorry that I ruined our date and made myself a complete fool, insulting you too."
Two more tears crawled down presenting her pure, innocent notion of apology.
"It is okay, indeed it was a good experience with someone who is pure at heart. And I'm really touched that you behaved innocently."
Brandon was still holding her wrist as both stood outside right in the front of the door, conversing out things.
"Uh, what?"
Syna became quizzical after his remarks, sure he understood that it was her first date.
"Yes. So?"
Before saying anything further he scratched the back of his neck nervously.
"Now I suppose we would be seeing each other again soon, how about we exchange contacts?"
"Yeah, Mr Brighton."
Syna giggled a bit upon his nervousness and wiped off her tears with her right palm.
"Please spare me with this formality, I'm fine with Brandon, just call me Brandon."
Brandon requested with utmost cutest puppy expressions while holding her wrist tightly, Syna unconsciously did not notice that but a guy in a cap hiding nearby with his face half covered, saw everything clearly.
"Hah okay, Brandon here is my contact."
Syna started to speak and Brandon rattled for his cell phone in pocket to note down the most important information. As through the dating site they only discussed the meeting point.
"I-I will be off then."
Syna twisted her arm to break free, and Brandon immediately let it loose in embarrassment.
"Ahhh! I'm sorry. Yes, we will meet soon. Take care."
Brandon waved Syna and she went off by taking a cab, which arrived before her instantly.
When she was out of his sight Brandon started to walk the whole street all by himself as the surrounding people in certain uniforms, mingled in commoners, assisted him in the walk.
"Here, Young Master Brighton."
A butler opened the door of an expensive luxurious Limousine to Brandon who's aura and manner changed immediately as if perhaps he transformed to another imposing and influential person.
"We will meet soon, my mate!"
-----------
She was in the middle of her halcyon reverie when her cell phone vibrated against the wooden table and she heard 'Grr Grrrrrr' of vibration.
"Hello, is this Ms Syna is speaking?"
The person on the other side questioned as to confirm the owner of the cell phone. The man introduced himself beforehand as Syna was about to place a question in return.
"It is me Brandon. I'm sorry to call you at this hour as could not help but call you. I was thinking about today."
Her heart started to pound as if was going jump out of her chest, heat travelled towards her cheeks as blood rushed towards her ears, making her hot at once.
"Ouh! yeah, I got you Mr Brandon, I mean Brandon. How are you?"
Syna blushed a little upon his name and surprised on her own act of asking for his activities late at that hour, sure it was Saturday and that allowed her time to go on a date.
Syna was happy deep down that she was not the only one thinking about those moments, her hands were shivering with tension, but she somehow managed to hold the cell phone close to her ear.
"What else I would be doing except getting lost in your heavenly smile."
His cheesy remarks reminded her of Sinclair as she was about to reply Brandon the same.
A sudden fear crept into her heart as perhaps she was caught guilty of something, that was how the mate bond worked.
"I - it is getting late. We should sleep now, take care."
Hurriedly without waiting to listen for his reply Syna hung up the call.
"What is this? No-no, why am I thinking of him?"
Placing a hand on her heart Syna questioned to herself sternly but nothing arrived as an answer.
Her heart was willing to be held in his arms, willing to be under the gaze of his eyes. Syna felt everything nearby fading, losing her mind for him and permitting him to take a catch of her.
She neither knew nor wished to know that how many moments, seconds or minutes passed when her mind and heart were at battle, she felt as if that was her station to stop by now.
How could she feel this intense emotions for a guy she just met, in fact for her boss whom she had never REALLY known before.
