"Perseus! Breakfast is ready." A woman called out for the fifth time, with a bit of anger mixed in her voice.
"I am coming!" A young boy replied groggily as he got out of his room, rubbing his eyes.
The boy was quite tall for his age, with striking grey eyes and lustrous Raven black hair. His high sculpted cheekbones, an aristocratic pale face and the casual elegance he carried made him look like a noble from a fictional world.
Rushing downstair with messy hair and uniform by the several pictures of himself and a woman hung on the wall, he hurriedly sat down for breakfast.
"Sigh! How many times have I told you to wake up quick? It's always such a rush because of you." The woman said sighing as she served him some toast and eggs as she went behind him to fix his messy hair.
"I did wake up but I couldn't find my maths homework anywhere so I kept looking for it," Perseus replied with a slight grin as he looked back at the blonde woman. The woman had a thin-rimmed glasses on but it couldn't hide her piercing cold blue eyes and her hair tied to a ponytail she looked out of this world.
"Ouch! Do it softly mom." Perseus complained as he felt his hair being pulled.
"Well, it's not my fault you have such messy hair." The woman said in rebuttal, "Sigh! So did you find it?"
"Nope, I think I left the homework in my class." Perseus said in a small tone not daring to look back again as he focused on his breakfast, "But don't worry about it. We didn't have maths homework, to begin with."
"I am sure you didn't." The woman said sighing as she walked away and carried her purse. "Let's go, we're getting late."
"Wait for me," Perseus said as he hurriedly put the last remaining toast in his mouth and rushed out with his backpack.
He got in the car and they began to drive away. It was early May, and the season was warm. Today was unusually a bright and sunny day as Perseus looked out of the car with a smile on his face.
It had been nearly eleven years since he was reborn. For the first couple of months, it was hard accepting what was happening but he had no choice but to do so. He grew older day by day trying to fit in into his new life, making sure no one would suspect him of being a 16-year-old reincarnate. Growing up in this household wasn't much different from the past, except he had a loving mother for the first time in his life.
April Walker, one of the leading businesswomen of the country and the founder of the now popular fashion brand, 'Abigail', was his mother. And her only son, Perseus Walker, was the apple of his mother's eye who doted on him way too much. His father, however, was out of the family portrait and Perseus who knew better never asked his mother much about it as it was easy to see that she didn't really like talking about it and he himself was quite pleased to not have an annoying father figure for the first time in his life who looked at him with nothing but disappointment.
Perseus felt it was quite surprising how a person can change so much so easily in a matter of years. Looking back he could never imagine himself being what he is today considering what he was like previously. Despite being quite the troublemaker, people didn't bother him much, after all, he was quite a looker and besides people didn't want to get on the bad side of his rich mother.
Looking from outside Perseus Walker had it all. Rich family, looks, and a bright future, even he sometimes would be blinded by what was right in front of him. But his past wouldn't let him live a simple normal happy life.
Despite not being a wizard, it wasn't hard to match the incidents of his previous life to know that he didn't end up in another world or something unusual like that. He was still in the same wizarding world he was previously in, just in the future. To be more precise, he originally was born in the year 1954 and passed at the age of 16 in 1970, but now he was reborn again in 1980, exactly a decade later. And the other major change was that he was here in Britain not in America.
Being a No-Maj or Muggle as they called in the British wizarding society, it was hard to find any other real information as wizards were quite good at covering their tracks so he was still far behind but he could tell for sure that other than the time, nothing much had changed.
Revenge is what he seeked, but it was easier said than done. After all, he was still young and finding wizards would be quite difficult. But he still didn't lose hope, in fact, he was preparing for it, ever since he was born. Even if he had to remove the curtain separating the wizarding world and the muggle world he would do it if it meant he could find those people who killed him and his sister. And for that, he was going willing to cross any boundaries.
"Are you okay?" April asked as she looked at her son, who was dozing off like he usually did sometimes.
"It's nothing." Perseus shook his head, "I am just worried about my Maths homework."
April said nothing wondering who did Perseus learned to lie from, after all, he had been like that ever since he was young. Thinking about it, reminded her of a certain person who was really good at lying as she couldn't help but feel angry.
"Are you... okay?" Perseus asked looking at April as she had suddenly begun to drive faster than before.
"Me? Yeah, I am okay." April said calming down and returning back to the speed limit, "I was just thinking, what do you want for your birthday, after all, it's not that far away."
"I have everything I want so I don't really want anything, I guess." Perseus said, "But that's not going to stop you so why even bother asking?"
"Well, it's not every day you turn eleven, after all." April said, "So I guess I have to figure out a good gift for you this time as well."
Perseus didn't reply as he knew whatever he says wouldn't change his mother's mind as he just sat there smiling looking at April talking about his birthday plans.

All his good mood had disappeared as the math class approached, and there were still no signs of his homework. He made sure to do his homework the night before but it had just vanished in thin air. It wasn't the first time it had happened and math homework seemed to be the favorite one to disappear. Perseus suspected if it was a Demiguise or a wizard messing with him, but there was no way to know.
Mr. Smith, the math teacher was eager to check the student's homework today as the moment he stepped into the classroom he eyed Perseus Walker, who looked nervous and he was certain he had finally hit the jackpot this time. Walker, one of the richest student in the whole school who acted as if money could get him from any trouble. And that it did, pranking people, not doing homework was a regular thing to do for him. But not today, with previous records of his homework missing Mr. Smith was sure he could finally get him suspended for good. More so than that, he wanted to see the arrogant woman's face when her son gets suspended right in front of her. He wanted to let these rich folks realize that, money really can't buy them out of everything.
Perseus stood up as Mr. Smith reached his desk looking at him with a questioning look. 'He knows!' Perseus thought to himself in annoyance as he could see the slight smug on the man's face as he reached for his homework.
"Oh! I guess the genius of our class has forgotten his homework for the 100th time this year." Mr. Smith said in a sarcastic voice as the students began to laugh. "What happened this time? Did it vanish in thin air, got eaten by demi- whatever you call it or did a unicorn eat it?"
"Well, if it was a unicorn I could see-"
"Shut up!" Mr. Smith said as he slammed the desk, "Excuses, is all you have to give me, Mr. Walker and this time I'll make sure you wouldn't get away with it. I'll make sure to call your mother here and let her know how her son is doing in school by having you suspended right in front of her."
"But I-"
"No buts."
"You and I both know I am good at my studies," Perseus said getting angry after all being scolded around like a kid didn't feel so good especially when he really wasn't at fault, "Even if I didn't submit my homework, I have aced all my exams so there shouldn't be a problem here, should it? After all, the reason you gave me homework in the first place was for me to learn."
"You... just because you think you're from a wealthy family do you think you'll get special treatment here? No matter who you're you still need to follow the rules and do homework just like everyone else."
"What does that have to do with me being from a wealthy family?" Perseus snorted, "I know your types, typical dogs who do nothing but bark at their fate instead of trying to better themselves. I don't know what happened to you in the past but it doesn't give you the right to treat me this way."
The students all got quiet as they had never see Perseus like this before and not only that, even those who wanted to speak couldn't say anything seeing Mr. Smith shaking in anger.
"You little brat, you dare speak back to me when you're in fault yourself." Mr. Smith growled, "Follow me to the principle's office now!"
Perseus didn't move as he stared at his teacher with anger.
"Didn't you hear me! Move!"
Just when Mr. Smith had enough and was about to grab Perseus out of the classroom. Copies fell out of thin air on top of his head making him startled as he tripped and fell. The whole class stared in amazement as Mr. Smith was now suddenly buried in heaps of copies and books. Perseus who was angry just before was now shocked as well.
Perseus recognized those copies and books, to be those which he had lost ever since the beginning of school and now here it was all, covering his math teacher. Perseus felt something, he wondered if what he was feeling was exactly what he thought he was but he had to test it out. Perseus quickly grabbed his bag as he began rushing out of the classroom.
"Where are you going?" Mr. Smith stood up with a questioning angry look but Perseus didn't look back.
"Well you can search my homework from the pile, I am sure it's in there," Perseus said as he headed out of the classroom. Running out of the classroom, he suddenly ran against another person.
"Are you alright?" The man asked him with a smile on his face.
Perseus who was in a hurry didn't really have the time for the weirdly dressed man in front of him, as he apologized and began to run away again.
"Kids and their awakenings...Sigh!" The man took a deep breath shaking his head as he entered into Perseus's classroom.
