She almost listened to her heart when....
"Rinnnngggggg...." The doorbell rang startling the duo who were lost in the moment.
"Damn it.", he cursed.
Sophie came to her senses and ran towards the door. She opened the door to reveal C and William in his disguise of Travis. C threw Travis onto the sofa and made himself comfortable on the bed.
"Get down this instant and wash yourself before getting onto my bed.", she screamed.
"Okay, okay.", C quickly got down from the bed to wash himself. After washing up, he signaled the young man and mouthed, "Come with me to the terrace.". He looked towards Sophie. On receiving Sophie's permission he left along with C.
He came to the rooftop with C. He turned around to close the door behind him. After closing the door, he went to the northern side of the building, where he could see the whole city glimmering with lights. It was so beautiful to watch it. He could feel the eyes of C boring onto him. He stated calmly, "Say whatever you want to say."
"Robert, I don't know why you are trying to get close to Sophie again, but, I won't allow you to hurt her again."
"I won't hurt her."
"As if I believe your nonsense.", C snorted in disdain.
"Believe me, I won't hurt her."
"Do you take me as a fool? I know that you already have a fiancée, who rains terror upon anyone just by using your name. Hah!!", he scoffed.
"She still has her use."
"To you, women are mere tools to be used. Isn't it? You used Sophie, and when she could no longer be used, you threw her away, isn't it?"
"Shut up! Shut the hell up!", he screamed and punched the wall out of frustration.
C smirked, "So, the truth always hurts. Isn't it?"
Robert gritted his teeth out of anger and said, "How many times do I need to say that she is not a tool to me, neither did I think like this before."
"You think that you can convince me with your words? Dream on!", he snorted.
"It's up to you whether you choose to believe me or not."
"Look, firstly, whatever you do don't drag Soph down with you. Secondly, if you wish to hurt Sophie, forget about death, forget about others, I, myself, shall make your life a living hell. You'll beg me for death. Thirdly, if you have intentions towards Sophie, show us your sincerity. Last but not the least, make sure to throw away that pest of yours. I don't want to see her. If I see that you are with that woman, forget about Sophie. Do you understand?"
Robert nodded, since, he was also aware that C was speaking the truth. C was truly concerned about Sophie. So, he did not make it hard for Robert. They went downstairs and saw that both William and Sophie was having what it seemed like, a staring competition. Both of them were staring at each other unblinkingly. They did not know what brought this staring competition.
"I admit defeat. I'm sorry for what I've done. I should have left everything to you. I'm truly sorry for not listening to your arrangements.", William said with a apologetic sigh.
"Whoa! What brought this on, Will? Is there no moon outside? You are saying sorry? Oh My God! It's miraculous.", C grinned.
"Shut up!", Sophie ordered.
"Why? For what did you say sorry? Are you really sorry for not listening to me? Are you sure that you are really sorry?", Sophie said rather sarcastically.
William hung his head. He couldn't answer her. He needed to find about the whole truth. But Sophie saw through his thoughts. A glint passed through her eyes, which William did not notice and Sophie was fast enough to hide.
