Oliver shook his head and sat quietly as he knew that when his brother will be ready to speak, he would say it himself, so there was practically no use forcing him. So, he relaxed and ordered for a beer for himself as he needed to remain sober.
Both the brothers were drinking in silence in each other's company. They said nothing, and sat there drinking in the pub. This pub was owned by Edward, who rarely makes an appearance here. Only, Oliver is the VIP customer. But they suddenly noticed a commotion at the entrance. Before they could make assumption, they saw a man clad in black coming in their direction amongst shriek and shouts from all the ladies present.
"Would you mind if I join?", Edward said, but did not wait for them to invite him, and sat down.
Oliver and Robert raised their eyebrows but made no objections. He ordered whiskey for himself too. He relaxed and started drinking with them. So they situation barely changed. At that time, two people were drinking in silence, but now there are three people sitting and drinking in silence.
Oliver plopped his head on to his hand and rested it on the table, and then looked at his brother imploringly. His meaning was clear: "Tell me fast, I'm dying to know.". So, Robert could only helplessly narrate all the incidents in the same sequence as it occurred. He said, "So, what do you guys think? What should I do? Why is she acting so strange all of a sudden?"
"Bro, I got it. She is jealous. There is no other reason.", Oliver said enthusiastically. But Robert gave him a skeptical look. Oliver noticed that Edward was silent throughout the entire conversation, so, he purposely asked him, "Cousin, what do you think?" Edward was their cousin, but was closer to Sophie. He was like a big brother to her. She relied on him and he relied on her. In her most difficult times, only Edward stayed by his side and sent reinforcements to save her.
Edward was silent for a while before he said, "I won't allow you to hurt her again, and I have no intention of letting you know the reason."
Oliver was about to respond but Robert warned him with a glare.
"You are right, cousin. But don't forget that she is also hurt due to this reason. If you don't tell me, how am I going to solve it?"
Edward understood his words, but was in a dilemma. Robert took advantage of it and said those words intentionally.
"Sophie knows Lily's identity as your fiancee."
Robert expected that something happened to her, but never expected this. That was the reason why she asked about it that day. Robert was smiling because he thought that Sophie was jealous. But Edward's next sentence broke his happy mood. "Lily is the main culprit of releasing her identity to the public."
This time not only Robert but also Oliver was stumped. They never imagined that the person they were trying to find was hiding in their home. Robert asked the most important question, "How do you know?"
"Sophie.", he briefly replied and continued drinking. He was depressed about something which he did not say at all. He merely sat there drinking and looking at the beauties.
Oliver still could not process all the information. His brain was going haywire due to the information overload. He asked nervously, "Bro, now what are we going to do?". He knew clearly what Sophie meant to his elder brother.
He silently prayed for those poor souls who were going to be tortured by King Yama himself. Nobody could escape his wrath, now that they have provoked this monster. He wondered to himself whether those people had a death wish in provoking that monster, too. Sophie, herself was a monster. She did not need anybody to deal with those small fries.
And if his brother and Sophie joined hands, those organisations would also fear them, let alone these small fries. But he needed to be wary of this Lily. They knew that she has ulterior motives, but to actually harm Sophie, what is the reason behind it? He still couldn't understand.
They discussed up to this point and returned to their respective homes. Robert and Oliver returned to the Atkins Mansion, while Ed went to the Atmosphere.
