Training – Session 2

Her heart pained as she remembered a certain someone, but again steeled her heart. She couldn't let these thoughts influence her actions as well as her thoughts. She thought to herself, "I need to become strong. Once, I become strong, no one would be able to hurt the persons close to me. I will make the persons close to me even stronger, so that no one would dare underestimate them."

They went to their bungalow in the center of the island, and settled there. Only C and Sophie had luxurious arrangements. Others would share the dormitories specifically made for those undergoing training. Sophie came here for a reason. She would have to attend Robert's wedding, and she did not want others to be worried about her. She planned with C that only both of them would attend the wedding. She would surely give a wonderful gift to Robert on that day. He will remember that throughout his life. In the beginning, C wasn't sure whether he would be able to do that or not, but in the end he relented, and said that he would most surely support Sophie. This is the first time, Sophie is going to take the limelight, so, he needed to be there to support her.

Minutes passed as they waited for them to land, and both of them fell asleep one after the other on the sofa. They were sprawled across the sofa, drool dripping from the corner of their lips. Anyone seeing them would think that they did not have a room in the bungalow.

At 2 am in the morning, they heard noises coming from the doorway and hurriedly opened their eyes. Everyone looked at each other, then, looked at the two figures sprawled across the sofa, one of their legs dangling, the other half bent. Sophie and C was looking at each other, stupefied. This was the sight they encountered when they entered the house. It was a funny sight to behold. They burst out laughing immediately.

They dragged their suitcases and deposited them in the corner of the living room for now. In the morning they were going to start training officially. Even Sophie did not think that she would bring them here for training.

Everyone chose one couch each and sat down. Naturally Ruby sat beside C, who pulled her onto his lap. When he saw many disgruntled faces staring at him, he reasoned with them, "Look, from tomorrow, you all are going to train and I'll get lesser time to cherish my girlfriend, right? So, excuse me for now. Okay?" He looked at them with pitiful eyes.

Everyone understood his emotions, so, they did not make a single sound. They rolled their eyes at his pitiful look and continued chatting with each other. The refrigerator was well stocked, so, Sophie opened the fridge and brought a tub of vanilla ice-cream and a spoon along with her. She sat down again and started scooping out one bite of the ice-cream and licking it. Her actions were so childish that they couldn't help but shake their heads.

She felt that Natalie and Giselle were eyeing her ice-cream, so, she turned around so that they could not see her ice-cream anymore. Elliot, William and Benedict laughed at her antics. Nobody could imagine that the usual ruthless businesswoman was so childish at home. This was also true that she would show this side of her in front of her friends and family only.
