My name's Christopher Anderson, a cyclist that holds a title in cycling. I'm also a Champion on Cyclist racing competition in 2000 and got the 1st place in 2005. And now, I will gonna share to you my story on how I become a cyclist. First of all, in cycling, you should always have your own safety gears so that if you got involved on a accident, you've got some protections.
When i started cycling,I think i was 5 years old on that time,I started on a cheap bicycle which i always take care of. Until it got broken that result for me to stop from cycling. Then after 5 years, my parents brought me a new bike, which is a road bike named "Giant". I took care of it and upgrade its parts until it became fully upgraded.
Me and my road bike travelled on different places and met new friends who also a cyclist. We created our own association of Cyclist. Everyday,me and my fellow cyclist travelled on a new destinations, while we are on the road,we are talking to each other
so that we will not get bored on our way.
Until we started to think about cycling in Manila that got me thinking if I can do it. But then again I've been cycling for so long that's why I told myself that it's just a piece of cake. And then I asked other's if they can do it and they just said that they can do it as long as we're together.
We parted our hometown with full of confidence and determination in fulfilling our dream. Without further assurance in our safety, we then prayed for guidance from above hoping for a safe trip.
While cycling, I then thought of what I could get from doing all of this. Will it help me in my life? Will it give me a lot of confidence? Questions came flying around, but then again I told myself that what I'm doing today is for my future.
We overcomed every obstacles along the way. Though it was a little tricky since it's my first time in cycling a long long way, but still I did it, and I'm proud at the achievement that I just had.
Our hardwork has been paid off when we saw large structures and a lot of famous landmarks. We also saw some other cyclists as well, and seeing their well built muscles on their legs makes me want to have it as well. I then promised myself that I'll become like them someday, and will be the best cyclist ever.
Then we decided to go home thinking that we'll be home a little late since we departed from our hometown in 4 am and arrived at Manila in 2 pm. Not bothering the heat, we still continued in cycling our way home safely.
We pedalled a little faster but still night and rain caught up with us. We got all wet and decided to wait for the rain to stop. When the rain stopped, we started to pedal again and reached our homes safely at 10 pm. We might be exhausted and tired, but that wont stop us at fulfilling my dreams in cycling.
