Chapter Five: The Shooter And The Bullet.
HEY GUYS ITS ME PAIGE I'M JUST GONNA WARN THAT THIS IS A SAD CHAPTER FOR ME AND I KNOW SOME OF WILL PROBABLY CRY . SO THAT IS WHY I PUT THE CHAPTER COVER AS WJAT ITIS AND NO IT DOESNT HAVE ANY THING TO DO WITH THE BOOK I JUST SAW IT ON GOOGLE AND DOWNLOADED IT SO NOW ITS THE CHAPTER COVER. Kaiya's p.o.v.
"Hey Logan are we friends? I mean i know you've only been here for four months now." "Yeah we're friends." Logan said. We were in the gym talking and the principal came over the intercom and said that there was an intruder in the building and that it was not a drill. '"Hello students this is your principal speaking to you now and im telling your teachers to lock all the doors of your classroom. WE HAVE A INTRUDER AND THIS IS NOT A DRILL I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!"'
I was calm but Logan on the other hand didnt know what to do, She was
Freaking out and speaking the same three words. "Tree, uni, birdy tree,uni,birdy." Then every once in a while she would say "kate." I know who kate is that's her little sister. I mean what is a uni birdy. I know what a tree is but not the other three words. "Logan calm down we'll be fine. ok? Every thing is gonna be ok."
She nodded then we hear gun shots going off in the other side of the school. Then the gunshots get closer and closer to the gym.
By this time i was the one freaking out and logan still looked scared.
All of à sudden the windows of the doors to the gym broke and someone reached their hand through the broken window and opened the door then came into the gym where we all were and started shooting at everyone
I closedmy eyes and got ready to be shot but I didn't get hit it was someone in front of me.
"LOGAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOUR GOING TO BE KILLED!?!?" - "I know but at least you will be ok and not dead.'' She said with tears rolling down her cheeks and blood coming out of her arm. Then all of a sudden we heard another gunshot but this one was different it wasnt as loud as the other one or as fast as the other one either. 'OH GOD IS THERE ANOTHER SHOOTER'
Arctic Fox's/Kate's
I hope Logan is alright. I hope she didnt get shot either 'cause if we get shot we might die like almost immediately because we're not like the humans, with humans if you get shot you have a 50%-50% chance of living but with us we have a 20% chance of living after getting shot.
"Kate are you alright?" My best friend lilly said. "Yeah the bullet just grazed my neck I'll be fine. I just really hope that Logan is ok" I said back then two cops came in and took everyone who had died out and then everyone else got out of the school or so i thought.
Logan's p.o.v.
My vision is getting really blurry I can hardly see anything. Am I dieing? Is this what it feels like to be dead? I start to feel my eyes close then Kaiya shakes me gently trying to get me to stay awake but it was so hard. She had tear stains on Her cheeks and her eyes were puffy and red. I tried my best to stay awake but I couldn't my eyelids got heavy and my breathing slowed down then everything went black.
Time skip at the hospital on earth.
Kate's p.o.v.
"Mom will logan be ok?" I said with tears slightly coming out of my eyes.
"Of course she will be sweetie don't worry she just in surgery she'll be ok.
But we won't be able to see her until 1 day after her surgery. ok?" I nodded then dad came back to the waiting room and he had a worried look on his face, mom gave me a few dollars. "Here take this and go get your sister somthing for when she gets out of surgery." I took the money and went down the hallway to the gift shop and was looking for Logan a present when a girl about logans height with brown and blue/green hair came in she apparently knew who I was and walked over and asked. "Hey Kate how's Logan doing? From what your mom said it sounded pretty bad." She said then I finally realised who it was it was her 'best freind' kaiya. "Yeah she's doing better but she's in surgery now and mom said that she'll live which makes me sorta happy and not worried anymore." I said and I actualy smiled for the first time since before my real mom left me I really miss her.
Back in the waiting room right after mei sent Kate to the gift shop
Mei/fire's p.o.v.
When bob (bob is also Tulsa just so you all know and mei is fire kate is Arctic fox Logan is teddy bear)
came back from where Logan was he had a sort of sad yet worried look on his face. "Hey, hey, is everything ok what did the doctors say about Logan? Is she going to be ok?" He looked at then looked back down at his feet and then after about three or so minutes he spoke up. "The doctors said that she has a ten percent of living so they said that it's most likely not to get our hopes up for her living and then he said sorry. HOW THE FLIP COULD HE BE SORRY WHEN HE SAID NOT TO GET YOUR HOPES UP FOR HER LIVING I MEAN WHO SAYS THAT?!?!" After he calmed down Kate came back and kaiya was with her she was helping her carry a gigantic puppy plushie and some white and blue roses.
Kaiya's p.o.v.
When me and Kate got up to the waiting room we were wore out because we had to carry a HUGE puppy stuffed animal up to Logan and some roses. "Hello Mrs. Royal how's Logan doing?"-"She's not doing so good. Kate could you go out in the hall real quick I need to talk to kaiya." When Mrs. Royal said that Kate nodded and left "Kaiya. Logan has a ten percent of living. I'm sorry" What she said hurt me a little I was so sad to hear about Logan but I believe she can make it through this she's a strong individual she has a strong mind and a strong heart I believe she'll live. "Dont worry Mrs. Royal she will be alright Logan is a strong person she will make it through this I believe in her to make it through this." I told her with a kind smile which made Her smile back at me then she hugged me? Why?
Logan's p.o.v
When I wake up im in a plain whit room with big windows on one side and a big stuffed animal in the corner.
I hear beeping what is that? "M-mom? Kate? Dad? KAIYA? Where am I?" I asked the people in the room then they all tell me what happened and where I was at. "WAIT IM IN A HOSPITAL?" I yelled at the top of my lungs and everything got real quiet then Kaiya spoke up. "Yes logan your in a hospital and it's all because of me you shouldnt have tried to save me if you just stayed back you wouldn't have gotten shot at and almost killed!" Kaiya yelled the last part and she looked really worried.
Time skip to 2 months after the shooting
Kaiya's p.o.v.
I woke up at 8 today because it is saturday and as soon as i woke up logan texted me.
Text messages with Logan.
LOGAN: Hey kaiya you wanna have a sleepover at my house 2night.
KAIYA: sure what time should I be there.
LOGAN: how about 6:30 is that ok?
KAIYA: um... Yeah that's fine I just have to ask my mom and dad if their ok with it.
Thirty minutes later.
KAIYA: they said that i could come over and spend the night with you as long as im back by 10:55 tomorrow morning.
LOGAN: ok that's fine youll be back home by then most likely. We'll I gtg bye kaiya.
KAIYA: bye Logan see you later.

Logan's p.o.v.
"Mom, dad can kaiya come over for a sleepover tonight?" I asked from the other room of the house waiting for an answer when they finally said sure that she could come over. I'm about to go in the kitchen when I hear mom and dad talking so of course with me being the nosey teenager that I am I eavesdrop on their conversation.
"Sweetie we need to talk"-"about what?"-"about us being here on earth."-''what about being here on earth?''-"I think that it's time we move back home. I mean look around we're just pretending to be people from earth and the humans would kill us. And teddy bear got hurt and almost killed. And what about Arctic fox she's had a bad time ever since her dang mom left her with us and since her dad died and she got grazed by a bullet AT SCHOOL."
Oh no we're moving back I mean I miss uni and birdy and tree but I made a friend here on earth. So i jump out of hiding accidentally hitting my hurt arm on the wall. "OUCH THAT HURT!!" After I realised I said that out loud I quickly put my han over my mouth then of course mom and dad's eyes shot towards me.

"Ummm....."-"Teddy bear what were you thinking you could've gotten hurt worse."-"Teddy what are you even doing in here. And what did you hear from our conversation."-"I was just going to the kitchen then I overheard you two talking about us moving back to our planet. Don't get me wrong I like it back on the planet but I finally made a friend here and we're not pretending to be people we're us bit just in a different form."
Kaiya's p.o.v.
When I get to Logan's house I knock on the door but no one answered so I thought to just go around the house and see if their home. When I got to the side yard i heard yelling and the words teddy, maydupiter,and Arctic, then i heard the words we need to go back to our planet. So I just go back to the front door and knock again but this time à little louder. "Coming" I heard logan say then she opened the door. And let me then she asked me if I heard them arguing and i said yes and she asked me if I wanted to live with and move back to another planet with her and her parents and little sister so i said yes and from there we moved to another planet far from here.
