CHAPTER 3 : They would be so proud of You

TODAY

Riya opened her eyes which thinking deep about something. She turned off the shower, wore a set of lavender colored pyjamas and came out into the dorm. To her astonishment, there was already a person siting opposite to her bed. Their eyes met and the other person came up to her with a smile.

"Hello captain". the stranger said.

"Hello Zoya, we meet after 2 years. How are you doing?" Riya said taking a seat on her bed.

"I am absolutely fine captain. There is a lot of news I have to give you about the target" a delicate voice said.

"Zoya, first of all you can call me by my name and secondly,don't refer to him as target. People might get suspicious. Now tell me everything about him.''a honey like voice replied.

''I am sorry captain, a.., I am sorry Riya. Here,the file has all the details about him.''Zoya said handing over Riya a file from the drawer of the study table.

Riya extended her hand and took the file. She opened the file and looked through all the information about him.

It was printed in a sleek black font.

NAME : Aryan Agarwal

AGE : 24

BIRTHPLACE : Delhi , India

What came next caught Riya`s eyes.

FATHER : Raj Agarwal

MOTHER: Pooja Agarwal

So they were the murderers of her parents. A rage of anger flashed in her eyes as she read their names. She turned the page to see Aryan Agarwal`s picture. An evil grin appeared on her face as she saw him. She turned the page to find nothing else in the file.

Zoya who kept her head down all this time, now looked up at her and said in a rather low voice

" He doesn't reveal any thing much about his family, Riya. I tried to get closer to him to grab more information but failed. I am so sorry." she said feeling guilty about not meeting up with the expectations of her captain.

"Its okay Zoya, don't worry about that. You were a great help all this time. You even took the risk of sneaking into the college office just to change my roommate from some other student to yourself in the computer.You were a great help. The rest leave it to me." Riya said generously.

Zoya now gave a bright beam of smile before she thought to herself " Riya, you are an amazing human being. You took care of the entire business of your parents since you were 15 by also managing your education, and now you are fighting for justice for your mom and dad. Only if they were here, they would be so proud of you". She then said "Wanna come down to the canteen for dinner? the food here is great."

"No Zoya. I am not hungry, you should go. I actually am very tired, so just want to have a good sleep.But I promise i will join you from tomorrow onwards." came a reply.

" As you wish Riya, good night" she said obeying her captain`s order, she then moved out from the room taking along a muffler in her hands.

Riya just laid down on the bed. The moonlight entered the room through the window beside her bed and highlighted her face. Riya looked at the picture in the file and said "Aryan Agarwal. Your parent`s destroyed my family right, now wait till I destroy yours. Be ready, I am going to take an entry in your life tomorrow. Good night for now."

She thought of the merciless death of her parents. A tear went down her eyes, and the moonlight made it look like a crystal coming out of her eyes. Riya slept peacefully then.
