I have to decide what my next action is. There are tonnes of cons in following up what the system wants, but I don't think I can't sleep until I found out what my perk does.

Imagine if my perk somehow allowed me to mirror the MC power level or stages. In several years, I'm gonna be so overpowered or my perk allowed me to know the future stories of the MC. Imagine all the plot armor and future artifact I can hoard.

Damn, that was a very tempting scenario. I guess the dice has been thrown, the decision was made, I just need to act on it and reap the rewards. Here's hoping to get an overpower perk. Crossing my fingers, praying for the god and hoping for a good fortunes.

I brisk walk toward the main character and heroin meeting area. The drama between both of them just concluded. I can't miss this opportunity to insert myself between their stories and dramas.

In split second, I have decided my character and persona. I don't have times and enough preparation to create a new character out if thin air. I need to make do with my real name but with slightly different persona. A good, concerning, understanding guys, a little vulgar and perverts, understanding on what MC's going through will be good enough. Acts a little dumb but honest sidekick, should be good enough and a safe bet to made the MC spill the beans.

I push myself out from the maze bush and confront the main character.

"Woah!... Hey...did you see that? I think there is a girl that can fly around without using a carpet! How did she do that?" I asked the MC.

"What...Ohh...yeah...I did see it. Yeah, that girl can fly. She just use an artifact to made her body as light as feathers." Hesitated Lie Jie. I guess he's not expecting someone else to intrude his moments as soon it just ends. "She's not strong enough to fly only using her powers."

"Ehhh...so she just a weak girl that used the money to bought some strength?" I asked again to make him open up more about the situation he just in.

"What! No! she's a strong girl, for a fact, she's stronger than both of us combine. Just not strong enough to fly without using some artifact help." he replied.

"No way...wow, not only she's a strong and wealthy, but also a stunning woman. Man, I envy you brother." I said insinuating his relationship with her.

"What...No! you're wrong. We don't have any relationship at all."

"Oh, come on! I know what couple's quarrels look likes. And what happened between you and her, that the couple's quarrels" I said.

"what! No it's not"

"Yes, it is. You know, the couple's quarrels happened when a girl and a boy have this thing..." I said while doing various hand gestures of someone having sex between one another. "Suddenly something unexpected happened. The girl getting pregnant. They fight on what to do. Sometimes, the girls want the boy to be responsible and ask her for marriage, but sometimes the opposite happened. The girls don't want having a baby and want to have an abortion. So they quarrel about that too. The question is, which scenarios are you in, you bastard." I asked while grinning with a fake approval.

"What!!! How did you know those things? I'm only eleven years old. We never even married yet, She's just my fiance, my betrothal. She not pregnant".

"Then what do you need to argues for. And here I thought you have sex problems. Wait...did you argue about when you should have sex? Did you want to do it before or after marriage?"

"What! what with the sex questions. How old are you again? You not old enough to talk about sex with anybody."

"I am old enough to talk about sex. I'm just turning ten last month." I gloat with pride in my voice. Saying it on purpose like that will made him more frustrated, but I know it will make him more open up about his life. I hope.

"That is too young to be talking about sex. That also too young to know about sex. How the hell did you know so much?" He asks with a perplexed voice.

Watching him like this give me an unknown feeling of satisfaction. I feel weird and dirtied at the same time. Is this why the MC always teased by his harems? Man, that was some dark thought.

"Buwahahha, Relax, I'm just messing with you dude. But, I'm still a prostitute's sons. So don't go around telling people that." I asserted a subtle threat to my supposable situations. "So, which is it? Before or after?" I asked to deflect his line of thought. I guess that was enough distraction to bring down his guard.

"What...No! We don't argue about that, it's about our engagement, okay. She wants to dissolve it. I don't know what to do. So I just shut her down, and refuse to even hear what she says."

"Oh...shit, Sorry I guess. How about we go inside, have a drink and forget about what happened.

Let enjoy our new start and think about that tomorrow. I heard the rice wine taste quite good." I urge him to follow my lead.

So far, everything seem to work out toward a good ending. I actually don't have any real plan, just winging it until some of it sticks. The best part is the 'plan' seems to be working.

"Yeah sure." he agreed with a gloomy sigh.

"Alright... let us just pass the problems for future us. Let the future...Erm...what was your name again?" I asked.

"Oh... its Lie Jie. How about you?"

"Me? everybody calls me Mobs, Mobs Extra." I asserted my name. "So Lie Jie, do you want to forget all your problems and lets the future Lie Jie solve it?" I probed his response. "Want to enjoy the present like there is no tomorrow?

"Sigh...You do know that you are eleven years too early to drink right?" Lie Jie asked. "and eight years too early on having sex too."

"Don't be ridiculous, since when we have such rules? Have you seen what they serve inside? Most of those drinks are booze" I replied. Damn it, I was right. Not only he is the MC, but also a transmigrated or a reincarnated person too. I need to be careful about what I said in front of him in the future.

"Ah... you're right. Forget about it. Let's have that drink." He admitted.

I grabbed a bottle of the rice wine and headed toward one of the empty tables. I also grab some snacks to go with the rice wine. I choose the Korean style rice wine because of the low alcohol content and because it also taste quite good.

I serve the wine in silence and just enjoying the song. The feast atmosphere also changes. Most of the newcomers already went to their respective houses. Most of them went back aline but a licky dew went back with someone else.

What left is the old-timer and the older disciples. The song turn into more sensual and many of them already dancing a slow dance with their counterparts. I enjoy the song, the drinks and the atmosphere. However, I never forget to keep the Lie Jie glass filled.

"Look at them, bunch of stuck up chosen from our intake trying to pick up girls, drunk as a skunk. Don't know where is front or backs. They probably will still got lucky at the end of this party though." I said just to keep this conversation going. Now I'm just shooting in the dark. I have no idea on what to do next. Just winging and see if any of those will stick.

"I was among one of them, you know." Lie Jie replied.

'wait, I got lucky? Nice'

" I was one of those stuck up chosen before all this happened. I have a bright future, god-given talents. I work and trained hard, never enjoy much anything but training and cultivating. Because I believed that's what I was born to do. Because that was what I believed my purpose is." He said with a trembled voice. "but I was wrong. Now, I fell hard." Lie Jie lamented.

'Ah, shit. What do I need to do next?' I panicked. I just decided to pat his shoulder to show some support.

"Thanks for being soo understanding, Mobs. You know, before this tragedy happened, I was at the peak of the condensation stage. On the edge of breakthrough into the refinement stage but suddenly, its all gone. Dispersed, reduced to a mere first stage of Qi Gathering realm. Now, I need to starts over. My cultivation becomes so much harder too, I lost more than ninety percent of ny usual cultivated mana. I don't know what to do next and my fiance keeps hounding me to dissolve the engagement. How the hell I'm gonna keep my family face if other people found out."

"Yeah, well...welcome to the club brother. The club of the peasantry and normal people." I said. "You seem to came from a powerful family, what happened to them?"

"Sigh...my grandparents died during the century war and both my parents went missing. We don't know what happened."

"Oh, shit... condolences, brother. So the sect just throw you out?"

However, during the end of the war, he got injured in one of the fight between other sect patriarch and elders. So he went into isolation to treats his injuries. My parent rivals took advantage of that and throw me away into here."

Damn, I got a front row of a classic cliche cultivation trope played in front of my eyes. Nice! "So what now?" I asked with a genuine interest in his plan for the future.

"I don't know Mobs, I don't know. I tried to regain my cultivation, but every time I do it, ninety percent of the mana I gathered just gone. Puff, kaputt. Gone with the wind."

"Did you find the reason why?"

"That's the problem. I don't know how" He contemplated, drinking what remain of his glass in one gulp.

"Yeah, you can try but many experts has tried to find the reason why, and failed to do so." Lei Jei said. "Fuck it, I want to dance, drink and eats to my heart content. Woohooo!"

Damn, this guys know how to party. I keep filling up his glass with the rice wine and other hard alcohol to make him more drunk and gullible.

I need him pass out for me to start my next add hoc plan that I just concoct in my mind just now. I need to bring him to my house and take advantage and found out his plot armor. I keep pretending to drink with him while in reality, I just drink some heavily watered down rice wine. I don't want to spill out any secret about my previous life. I want him to spill everything about his life, here and before.

We enjoyed the after-party too and after all of those gone, I bring him back to my house. It because tomorrow I'll try to solve his 'problem' and enjoy what my perk grants me later on. Cross my finggers hopping to get a system that can copied which treasures the main character got and mirror his cultivation stages.
