Chapter 6

The supernatural world was in shock after Ryu decided to reveal his existence. They were curious as of how a kaiju could stay off the radar for so long with it's current size. They wanted to find the kaiju so they can make sure that it's not a threat. As the supernatural world is going somewhat mental, the culprit of all of this is sleeping peacefully in his cave, nothing is coming near his cave because his aura is getting stronger by the minute. As the living cheat's power is growing, his size is also growing as well. As he sleeps, youkai all over the world are searching for him but can't find him, this is because while asleep, Ryu moved up against one of his cave walls and that resulted in a rock slide. Due to this, his body is hidden, and over time, the aura that was increasing in his body died down as it was compressed subconsciously. Meanwhile in the human world, the Japanese are very scared about the thing(Ryu) that came out of the water and destroyed their land. They hoped that it would never come back and wrote about it in their mythology as a demon of the seas.

Nobody POV:

After the incident in Japan, Ryu went into a deep sleep for a very long time, in this time, he is growing psychically larger, he is growing pores around his body that he can release radiation from in the form of a steam-like substance(like from the first Godzilla movie). His Dorsal plates are growing slightly larger and more durable as well as more flexible so it doesn't hinder his movement. After these improvements, his body just grows larger. As he sleeps the years go by because why not(I really don't want to be stuck in the 1500's). As time goes by, the youkai looking for Ryu eventually stop and the humans... just do what they do. The Japanese made a shrine to Ryu thinking that he was a mighty demon of the seas and that offerings would keep him at bay. They also did human sacrifices but lets not go there. While growing, his body outgrew his cave and started to forcefully expand it, creating constant minor earthquakes in the process. As a result of the minor earthquakes, the water was constantly churning(like in a bad storm) causing the Japanese to believe that the "demon" was angry at something, and to try to fix that they did MORE sacrifices which we will still not be talking about. While growing, Ryu's internal body temperature was also growing at a somewhat fast pace. Lines grow running down his back glow purple and release high levels of heat into the surrounding areas.

Around 200 years later, Ryu wakes up.

Ryu POV:

When I woke up I immediately noticed that something was off, where was the cave! I try to move but all I feel are things digging into my body, quickly noticing, I figure out that I was IN the cave, I just grew so much that the cave couldn't fit me anymore. I move around to figure out which was led to open ocean and not just more rock, once I did that, I pushed my way through the rock and entered open ocean once again. I look at my body to see what changed yet again, and when I looked I was shocked. My height grew to a staggering 200 meters from 130 meters and my length grew from 300 meters to 450 meters long. I notice the glowing purple lines running down my body, I also notice the multiple tiny holes all over my body. I focus my attention to one hole and look into the part of my body it was on. I see a small organ that can spit out steam? Well since it looks neat and could be useful in the future I will keep it. I notice that my dorsal plates can BEND now, it feels so nice to be able to rub my back against a wall without breaking one of my plates. I feel something different in my body, so I focus on that. After focusing on it, I suddenly shrink down and boy does it hurt. When the pain stops I look over my body and i'm stumped at what I see, a normal looking human being. Shocked, I just look over my body until I snap out of my daze, I quickly focus on that feeling I got, and turned back into my true form. After that happened, I look for my cave before I remembered that I had destroyed it. When I do remember it, I get all depressed on where i'm going to live. Trying to figure out where i'm going to live, I mean I could fix up my cave but then, I kinda want to go look for a new place to crash. Eventually I just decide to find a new place to crash.

So after going swimming for around an hour I still can't find anything. I feel like I'm about to cry.. I swam by so many land masses that this is getting ridiculous. The injustice of all this, what does a kaiju have to do to find some quality housing anyways? Wait! Whats that in the distance? Is that a castle? 'Hallelujah!' I scream mentally as I start heading towards the castle
