Day 3: Unsettling Feelings

As I woke up I still can't get off the feeling that I experienced yesterday. What was that? Why did it suddenly come to me out of nowhere?

These questions keep on resounding in my head as I tried to arise from my bed. Then I start to blame Gardenia for what had happened yesterday.

"Yes, it's her fault for saying those ridiculous things yesterday" I spoke while sitting on the side of my bed.

"That moment is just a fluke, a joke by my feelings and emotions," I said again. Then I stand up and prepare to go to school.

I'm at my school again, even though said that it was a joke and it's not that serious I still feel nervous about meeting her again.

I arrived at our room, I am delighted of what I witnessed. She's still not here and it's 6:45 a.m, our class will start at 7 a.m. Half of my brain says that I don't want her to be late, while the other is saying that I want to.

In our school, if you're late even by 1 second you will be punished by the disciplinary officer and will be held by 2 hours, that 2 hours of holding will be considered absent in your class.

6:58 a.m.

As I am preparing for our 1st class I heard loud and hurried steps outside my room, it's getting louder and nearer by each step.

*BAM!!!*

OF COURSE, it's Gardenia. She looked tired and exhausted, I think she ran from her house all the way to our school and to our room. What was she thinking? What made her so late today? Is she alright?

Again, I'm asking myself so many questions about her again. Nevermind about her, what is really happeng to me today?

After aggressively opening the door of our room, Gardenia catches her breathe and apologises for her actions to our classmates and sit on her chair beside me.

I looked at her carefully and saw how haggard she was so I asked her...

"What happened to you?"

"I woke up late. My stupid sibling messed up my alarm." She replied. Then I saw how angry she was after she told me her reason and it was first time I saw her looked so upset and angry, so I accidentally threw a little laugh while looking at her. She noticed and glare at me angrily.

" Do you think that is funny?" She asked angrily.

"Uhm... No. It is bad, really bad. I mean..."

*CRIIIIIING!!!*

The school bell turns on and unintentionally stop my answer. Immediately following the bell, Sir. Al enters with his signature terpapers. After looking at Sir. Al I looked at Gardenia again but she is busy preparing for the lesson so I just do that also.

Our day went on as usual except for Gardenia's unexpected tardiness and anger. Then comes off our dismissal, me and Gardenia walk home like last time.

As we approached her home she suddenly invited me to come inside...

*Dug Dug*

"Oh come on! I thought this was over!" I screamed internally in my head.
