Color of my Grief

Dea was mostly silent through the ordinal of bringing Amara back and her funeral. When she talked she gave one-word answers or limited herself with gestures. Her orders were direct and short. She didn't cry or shout or lash out, she was silent and cold. Colder than ever. Dea put Caelum to deal with everyone they found in the mansion.

They were all interviewed and it was confirmed that Anthony was alive. All her subordinates could see wheels turning in her head as she plotted her next moves. By the time Amare's funeral ended it was clear to all of them that Dea skipped all five stages of grief and went straight to revenge.

She wasn't in denial, she knew very well that Amare was dead. After all, it was Dea who stayed with her in her last moments and felt her last breath, felt her soul leave its body leaving but a sorry husk.
