First Battle 3

The air hung heavy with tension as Dea and her team stood on the precipice of their next move. The moon cast an eerie glow over the battlefield, illuminating the scene with a pale, ghostly light.

Dea's normally impassive expression belied the storm of emotions raging within her. The death of a close friend and sister had ignited a fire of rage and determination in her heart, driving her to confront Anthony with every ounce of her being. It had been a while since she had been this passionate about something, about destroying someone.

Her companions, too, were ready for action, their faces set in grim determination as they awaited Dea's command. Anu's illusion continued to weave its web of deception around their enemy, masking their movements and intentions from his prying eyes. This was the reason Arachne was so feared even among her own people. Their biggest power lay in making your own mind your enemy, and they did it flawlessly and in complete synchrony.
