Chapter 006: One Versus Two. Not Even A Match.

The very next day, early in the morning, you could steadily hear the sounds of light footsteps. Something is stepping on the grass lightly, surfing through a field of tall grass very fast. And there are some rustling within the nearby bushes.

'There is something that is quite close by...' Yao Zi Chen thought so to himself, as he could instinctively feel the sensation of something small and agile quickly passing by through his field of tall grass that which he controls.

The sounds of the tall grass rustling, near him, then got louder as it steadily approaching towards Yao Zi Chen's area.

It was not heading directly towards Yao Zi Chen's target location, by chance, it has unknowingly stepped foot into Yao Zi Chen's target field of grass influence.

'Only just a little bit further...' Yao Zi Chen thought so to himself. 'And now!'

Once the unknown spirit beast has managed to walk close enough to Yao Zi Chen's grass field of influence, with his grass manipulation spirit ability. Yao Zi Chen then immediately activates his grass manipulation spirit ability without a second of thought.

Immediately, under the will and control of Yao Zi Chen's thoughts, the numerous grass strands within the field of tall grass then reacted. It seamlessly swirls around, acting like it has a mind of its own, and following in accordance with Yao Zi Chen's will. It then began to obstruct the path of the running unknown spirit beast.

The unknown small running spirit beast then lets out a low squeal of surprise, before it is unknowingly caught up by Yao Zi Chen's trap. The numerous strands of tall grass then began to steadily wrap around the small body of the small horned spirit beast, thereby restraining it within its place.

The small caught horned spirit beast then turns put to be a weak seven years old Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast. Contrary to its appearance and looks, the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast is by no means weak. Individually, the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast is no match for the Horned Rock Claw Squirrel spirit beast, in a one on one match, fairly.

Just like how its name details about its appearance, the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast then resembles an ordinary rabbit; with the addition of a bladed knife or dagger, made from the same material as their bone cartilages, growing out from the front top part of its forehead.

The bladed horn of a Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast is quite strong, a capable slashing weapon, but is no way near as powerful as the Horned Rock Claw Squirrel spirit beast's piercing horn attack.

'It's now!' Yao Zi Chen immediately thoughts, as he quickly slithers upon about towards the completely restrained and tied up Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast to deal a final killing lethal blow to end the poor creature's life.

Within seconds, Yao Zi Chen has managed to approach the location of where the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast is currently tied up, as he then opens up his snake mouth wide to unleash a devastating snake bite attack.

Upon seeing Yao Zi Chen's largely intimidating approaching snake figure, the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast then began to react more frantically, thrashing its own body off and about in an attempt to escape from Yao Zi Chen's grass manipulation trap.

Like an activated bear trap, with its inner mechanism triggered. Yao Zi Chen's snake jawline then swung shut, closely, whilst holding onto tightly the body of the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast, as Yao Zi Chen's pair of snake fangs then sunk deeply into the flesh of the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast.

The Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast then began to squirm even more violently, as Yao Zi Chen then slowly pumps the dying Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast with his own snake venom.

However, the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast then slowly dies within the mouth of Yao Zi Chen. There are similar cries of anguish of within the distance, not so far away from Yao Zi Chen's current location

Afterwards, whilst Yao Zi Chen's attention was focused solely upon the dying Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast withinside his mouth, he didn't take notice of the numerous approaching figures steadily heading towards his direction. As the dying Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast had breathed it's last breathe.

And out of nowhere, another Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast then readily appears out of a field of tall grass. As it then jumps in front of Yao Zi Chen's snake figure, with its bladed horn knife blade already aimed at Yao Zi Chen's figure.

The Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast then charges straight at Yao Zi Chen's figure, with its own head raised upwards beforehand, before bringing it down within a chopping motion in order to slash at Yao Zi Chen's snake body.

The Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast's bladed knife horn was quite sharp, considering it was made from a non-metallic material, such as bone and chitin. It was able to cut through a few layers of Yao Zi Chen's thin grass-layered armour, but not completely through the single round of the thick grass vine armour.

And Yao Zi Chen then barely felt anything from the single attack of the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast's strike. It didn't actually do much damage to him, apart from pushing himself back due to the strong momentum that was steadily being carried by the Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast's rush attack.

'Oh.' Yao Zi Chen thought. It was then that Yao Zi Chen then began to notice the presence of the second Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast that showed up and sneak attack him.

'Why you, little runt.' Yao Zi Chen then strongly expresses his sense of irritation of having been caught off-guard by chance, whilst his attention was momentarily distracted elsewhere.

Without letting the second Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast having any chance to react the ongoing situation to lead toward another attack, Yao Zi Chen then completely confines it within its place, with his grass manipulation spirit ability.

"Hiss! (Well, know your place. You little runt.)" Yao Zi Chen hisses with his snake tongue.

'And now it is time to test out my grass wrecking ball skill out.' He thought so excitedly to himself.

Yao Zi Chen then raises the end of his snake tail upwards, equipped with the Grass Wrecking Ball self-made spirit skill of his. He then brought it down, whilst swinging the couple of inches thick grass wrecking ball onto the restrained Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast in full force.

Well considering the size and weight of the grass wrecking ball attached upon end of Yao Zi Chen's snake tail, and the materials that the grass wrecking ball is made up off. I imagined the strength of each of the grass wrecking ball smack attack is comparable to the average light punches of an average adult male roughly.

Yao Zi Chen then rapidly began to pound upon the confined Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast, one after another, consecutively, each with his grass wrecking ball until it is a bloody pulp.

"Hiss! (Well, this was easy.)" As Yao Zi Chen had said this, more wild Bladed Horned Rabbit spirit beast then immediately began to show up.

Rabbits tend to be social creatures, as they have evolved to live within groups or a herd. In the wild, rabbits do not live alone. They usually grow up within their own herd, consisting of ten or twenty rabbit younglings, until they are old to go out and seek their own mates to start a family.

'Well, me and my big mouth.' Yao Zi Chen thought so to himself.
