Curse

I was standing in front of the mirror in my room when someone knocked on the door.

"Princess Snow, may I come in?"

"Come in Lander," I answered angrily, "what do you need?"

Lander bowed, "A thousand apologies milady, Queen Yukie wants you to come to her at once."

"What for?" I said.

"I'm sorry, my lady, I was not informed about why you are needed."

I sighed in annoyance, "You may leave and tell her I will be there shortly."

"Yes, my lady, as you wish." As he left, I looked at myself one more time not knowing that it would be the last time I saw the same person who was looking back. I walked to my mother's room and knocked on the door. When I got to her door I asked

"Mother, may I come in? I was told you needed me?" No one answered me so, I started to open the door when I heard someone yell behind me. " Hey Snow mother called you, too?" Asked Rin.

"Yes, she did. Do you know why?" my curiosity had gotten the best of me.

"No, I thought you did. I stopped by your room but you weren't there so I headed to mother's room"

"Oh well I just knocked on the door, but mother was not answering me."

When I opened the door, right in front of me was my mother, she was laying on the floor in a pool of red liquid at the feet of this wolfish like a human. I stood there in shock but the first noise that came tearing out of my throat was a breathtaking scream. That one moment it looked towards us and ran straight at us. I couldn't move at all. One minute I was awake seeing my mother, aware of what was going on around us, then the next thing I saw my brother fall to the ground. I felt something hard hit my head. Then I saw nothing.

With Rin

I felt someone drop me on a cold hard floor. I heard someone else being dropped on the ground next to me. I opened my eyes to see my sister shivering on the ground right next to me. When I tried to move to her, someone put their foot on my back of my head and held me down to the ground. I could barely see Snow trying to get up and come to me but then the inhuman thing grabbed her by her hair.

There were others around us. Even though I couldn't see them, I could hear them moving around and laughing. I couldn't even move my head to see my own sister's face. I felt ashamed for not being able to protect my sister from something that was in our own home.

I stopped moving 'Are we even still in our own home? Are we even near it? Okay, Rin all you gotta do is listen to your surroundings.'

The one that had his foot on the back of my head started to laugh, "Oh so you finally noticed." As I listen I could hear leaves moving, birds chirping, and my sister still trying to move around.

I was pulled up by the hair on my head and when I could see I seen my sister also looking around while she was sitting, but the most terrifying thing that was in front of us was the castle, our home, was up in flames.

I just sat there in shock, unaware of anything else around me, the only thing that had brought me back was when my sister had started to scream. When I looked in her direction, one of the monsters was biting her on her shoulder. I tried to get up and get over to her, but then I felt teeth also sinking into my shoulder. I tried not to scream but the more I held it in the more it seemed to hurt. I tried to move to get the thing to stop biting her, but as I got closer to them my vision started to get blurry.

As I fell to the floor the last thing I heard them say was "You both have been cursed by the wolf curse." Then, I just went dark.

with Snow

My shoulder felt as though it was on fire. Inside, I felt so weak and pitiful. I had been unable to do anything when they bite into my shoulder. All I could do was scream in pain, unlike my brother. As far as I could hear, he had yet to scream. Although I'm sure they bite him too.

As my vision got blurry I thought I heard them saying "You both have been cursed by the wolf curse."

When I woke I was looking up at a ceiling that seemed to be made out of straw. I felt something wet being placed on my forehead, and a lady's voice saying not to move that it'll reopen my wound on my shoulder. I moved my head to get a better look at my surroundings, to my left I could see my brother starting to move around but soon as he sat up he was pushed back on the bed by a little girl who seemed to be scolding him. I started to giggle but stopped when my brother Rin looked at me. He then tried again to get up, this time almost shoving the girl out of the way. He stood up and held on to the wall and moved to me and sat down next to me. I smiled then looked back at the lady who was cleaning my wound.

She saw me looking then bent down and whispered in my ear "Are you two dating?" I looked at her then back at my brother and smiled at her and said: "No we are brother and sister."

She smiled and said oh, but the sweet look on her face soon disappeared when we heard a child like a scream followed by more screams. The lady went to the door and fell to the ground in shock. I looked at my brother and got up since I wasn't in as bad of shape as him, I walked to the door and outside where people were being killed by what seems to bandits. I heard the lady and other girl scream and one of the bandit's, that seemed to be the strongest ones, looked in our direction and smirked. I slowly backed away, he seemed to think I was the one who had screamed, so it was up to me to be the distraction that they needed.

I looked at my brother and mouthed 'hide' he looked at me in confusion then realized what I meant and nodded his head. I looked back and the bandit to see if he was still heading in my direction, so I turned around and ran from the house. I could hear him cackling behind me as he ran after me.

He kept on repeating "RUN LITTLE PREY RUN" I was calm up until that point, but know I was really scared. This time I ran not just for their lives but also for mine too.

I was running for what seemed forever when I ran into a dead end. I turned around to see that he was right there, I backed up against the wall when my body felt hot. I screamed. The next thing I knew the pain was gone and my eyesight, hearing, and smell felt like it was a hundred, no a thousand times better.

When I looked at the bandit he yelled "DEMON." I went to put my hands where my ears were but felt nothing, I then felt something on my head twitch. Then I put my hand on top of my head and felt what seemed to be ears.

Then I felt something brush the back of my leg, I looked behind me and saw a tail. At fir, st just stood there and admired my tail, it was pure white just like mine and my brother'ss hair.

Then it hit me like a fastball, I had a tail and ears, I screamed and fell to the ground and just stared at the bandit. He had just seemed to get over the fact that I had ears on top of my head and a tail. He started to run at me then out of nowhere a man was in front of me and the bandit. He seemed to have cut through the bandit as if he was made of paper. As I sat there the stranger turned around and looked at me, his eyes seemed to be staring right through me I tried to get up but the man grabbed me by my throat. My hand grabbed at his and I tried to move it but he just tightened his grip.

He stared at me with his blood-red eyes and asked me "Who are you, I thought I was the only one left of my kind?"

Then I looked behind him to see my brother, he was also like me but instead of white ears and tail he was the opposite of mine but the man saw me looking behind him and saw my brother. He grabbed me by the waist and started to run. I was crying and yelling at him to let me go I kept repeating it over and over until he stopped and threw me down on the ground. I tried to get up and go back the way we came but he stopped me, he grabbed me by the arm and squeezed it till I fell to the ground.

He looked at me and asked me " Who are you and that boy?" I just glared at him and tried to scoot away from him. He seemed to notice this and stepped in front of me. I got mad at him and yelled at him to let me go see my brother, this seemed to surprise him.

`I guess he didn't expect that we were siblings.' I sighed in my mind.

He quickly turned his head to behind us. I looked and saw my brother covered in blood, I quickly tried to get to him to see if he was alright but was once again I was stopped.

The man looked at me and said: "If he wants you he will have to fight because I am not about to let someone of my kind that is a female go." I looked at him in shock then back to my brother. I was scared not for my life but for Rin's.
